Horrible dumb app. Forgets what shows you watched before when you open it. Forgets what shows you watched before if you browse the app for more shows. You have to ”kill” it from processes at least 5 times to force it to ”remember”. Also at the end of all episodes there is a stupidly BLACK rectangle over the last seconds of the episode covering most of the screen

It doesn't work on all my android devices. Whoever thought to implement the autoplay of next episode 30 seconds before the current episode is finished, should be fired, for some shows that is a lot of missing action (take "the middle" for example). Taping on the screen to jump forward or back makes the controls appear for a quarter of a second, you have to long press to manage to control the playback.

Crashed my tablet twice. First time on installation the screen froze and I couldn't even restart. I actually had to wait for the battery to die out abd then it restarted. Now it won't play anything. I hit the play button and then after a few seconds if pauses by itself. Why is it so hard to make an app that works? Shame on HBO for such a worthless app.

Bad ux, No trailers attached to all movies - why? No watched history/personal recommendations, please check implementation in Netflix or YouTube for +/- 10 sec, why don't implement similar double tap on the screen side, instead of click exact on -10 sec on the left or +10 sec on the right? Good - IMDb rating in built, but no option to search all films by director/actor. No IMDb rating sorting for some categories. Lack of available languages(even subtitles would make a difference)

Edit: It got better only very slightly... I'm starting to hate the app. I've read the "An error occurred" message so many times, I'm not able to count it anymore. It usually doesn't remember what series I already watched or where in the series i ended. I usually need to restart the app several times before it starts working and often I just give up and go watch Netflix instead. It's so frustrating!

I would give it minus if I could. App does something to the internet connection, that 4g is dropped. Android 11. On wifi it works with lags and delays. I had subscriped paying at one point, but gave up the subscription for lack of content. I can expect them to not have content, as Netflix crushed them, but I did not expect such a poor application for mobile...shame

1. Chromecast does not work properly - can't play anything that is not from the beginning (this means no rewind options are available while chromecasting. 2. Sometimes does not track what shows have been watched and haven't been watched Other then this, everything is fine

I spend most of the time watching the loading icon rather than the actual show. I have a solid wifi connection and i have netflix and prime apps and those work without any issues. If it's a resolution issue, there should be an option to lower it but i don't think that should be a problem when connected to wifi (right next to the router) and have 150Mbit/s connection. Basically, watching on a phone is not possible for me.

this app is so far from the quality of Netflix. You need to have a very very good bandwidth and still it is slow to connect sometimes. The navigation is without any logic. The support of HBO is the worst ever. I tried to open a HBO Max account with a promo and it was not taking my card, the same card that I used for the Go payment. The first reply came 14 days later, with quoted information which had nothing to do with my case. The second answer was "just" 5 days later but still no solution.

This application needs many improvements. Certain connection problems are fixed but it still takes too long to load certain things. One example is the continue watching tab. It displays a message like "You didn't watch anything" while in reality it's still fetching the data about watched content. One other frustrating thing is the next episode overlay. Why does it take half of my screen? It's unnecessary and blocks the ending part of series.
