Cell Signal Monitor is an advanced network monitor that helps you to watch the state of cellular network by gathering data about cell towers. The app supports GSM, UMTS and LTE networks.
The first tab contains the following information:
• Connection status (in service/emergency only/out of service/radio is off)
• Operator name and its MCC and MNC
• Network technology (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE)
• Current cell identity (CID)
• Current area identity (LAC/RNC/TAC)
• Signal strength (RSSI and RSRP for LTE networks)
Charts show the changes of strength level and speed of mobile connection helping to monitor signal level (RSSI) and real amount of data in the channel. Log and Statistics display information about Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) recently used by a smartphone. After importing of a CLF file containing cell locations data can be displayed.
The application doesn't show neighboring cells data on Samsung devices due to firmware limitations.

Reviews From google play store

Nice app, let's you know when you phone is bouncing off towers, and what locations in your home are steady for one tower. I happen to be in the middle of about 15 cells, but given that there can be 5-10 on one tower, this could be the cause. To developers-----A GREAT FEATURE. TO ADD* "THE FIRST" ACTUAL GOOGLE EARTH LICENSED TOWER PLOT MAP, GIVING THE EXACT.LOCATION of TOWER BASED ON OPENCELLid database. You have all the info you already needed just need to add extra tab and the code!!!!!!!!

My cell connection has been jank for a while and ATT told me it was my phone. This app helped me to compare signals to my siblings phones and determine ATT just sucks rather than my 0hone being broken. Thanks!

Amazing! Thank you! But, my notification bar is showing a circle with a slash through it instead of numbers. My other two do not do that. And this did not before I restarted my phone.

I like that the reviews get personal attention. And I absolutely love this app. I was using another one that I was happy with, but it didn't give me enough information. This one does. Well done, and thank you

Excellent app for checking signal quality of cell towers

though i don't understand the numbers, the graphs are simple to follow. I'm able to track my signal strengths around my home as I walk. Real Time. I'll be able to locate my booster very accurately.

i love this app it records every tower thank you for making it

Good looking app. too bad it displays NO information regarding signal strength on my LG phone. location services are turned on...

lrm tryn app now this is an awesome app! This is new to me. I like reading reviews of this app many possible issues are adressed by reading

Absolutely amazing app, thanks Alexander, let me know if you can allow us to save ARFCN too.

My first impression: responsive & versatile app. How precise and useful the collected data are will require some time and testing...

Excellent and exact app obout cell phone towers sectors

I dont understand why this app need access to my contact numbers. I dont want to share my privacy.

Excellent - simple and clear and easy to use.

no working on Samsung a50 ......please check.... on old samsung working great

Galaxy s7 edge on Verizon LTE Does not display signal strength at all = useless.

extremely useful and interesting to see and use

Exactly what I needed and works great.

Does not work in phone Huawei Y9 2019

Asks to manage phone calls. Think not. Next.

Not working on Google Pixel 3 XL

Very clever and easy to understand

How to import cell location data

This is the best app out there for its intended use.

It is really good app. Like it

awesome!!! i love it...hell yeah it makes me happy.

It doesn't show me signal strength

The info is exactly what I am looking for, not too much or less.

Why does it need to make phone calls ?

Dear sir Please check not working on Huawei and honor phones

Remove System Settings and make Background enable app

one of the best!

It used to work previously, but the graph is empty now. Cant use the app anymore. Edit: it works only if the geolocation is enabled. Please let users of the app know that in the app itself. Ask us to enable the location settings

very helpful

superb

Good

awesome app...

Nice one

-112 .Kya ghanta samaj me ayega loagon ko. Display signal power in percentage.

Good

Great

Excellent presentation

Good app

please add feature that can auto save lac cid without open it and can make some database from that save to file.cvs

Excellent app but there must be option to remove ads. Ads cut its rating. Otherwise application constantly measure network strength of dual SIM n display it on home screen widget which remains live

There should be save and recall for measurement done. Only 30 sec is available that too real time.

Very nice app and quite useful.

great app!

Ads + requires location. Shares your phone number and location with advertisers. Very risky privacy-wise.

UI is great, very informative and useful to decide service provider

Great insights

Hold only 3 good of data even though I set log size to be 24 hours

Many apps are rubbish. This one is a gem

Shows me what I need to know

Only showing one cell signal in my s7

Gave me a good sense of transponders I access and the SN ratio necessary to discern coherent information.

So far good aplication

Works well

Supereb

Excellent app

Good one

Excellent

Works very well. The only thing it needs is the addition of RSCP value for 3G

Good app. Still discovering wierd truths.

Its really useful!

عمدہ

Good.. Useful

Works OK not seen any improvement in phone serice

Work better than the rest

Its a good informer

Really good app

Superior to other apps that boast similar qualities. Highly recommended. 5⃣⭐🌟🌟⭐🌠 💖💖💖

Dobra i praktična

Nice dual SIM support, thanks! Please add some widget config possibilities (operator name, logo, graphical signal straight) and make widget independent of app.

Doesn't work on HTC 310 single sim

Good

Could be way better if provided capability to export measurement results in proper format (cell id, timestamp, RX level, upload/download speed) for reasonable period of time (1 hour at least). Exporting into tiny pictures with label numbers that could not be read makes absolutely no sense. Moreover, if linked with GPS data could even be considered as a semi-professional tool. Without above features - nice, but nearly usless toy.

Download this app if you are performing analysis for gsm tower or cdma tower. This app is not for refreshing tower or signal boosting. So don't download it for something that it is not intended for and then rate low for such a marvel job. Kudos for developer for keeping it clean from ad.

I like to see the upload and down load speeds, what network I'm on, and the chart is really helpful to see a longer period of data. I don't know how it could be better.* update, now it lags when I open it. It has a delay when I want to swipe to the next screen and putting the info on the screen.

Properly displays what type of network connected to (LTE, 4G, HSPDA, etc) along with rms (avg signal level from carrier and real time. It also shows the CID (cell id # connected to) and others. Was instrumental in getting out of t-mobilw with no ETF. Just sent over the logs....-118 dBm is not good lol.

This was a brilliant app until about a month ago when it started to run slowly and even hang. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success. Please can the dev take a look? Update a month later - no change.

1. Only shows my carrier. I want to see the strength of any cellular signal I'm receiving. 2. No exit? Right, cuz I want this to run forever. 3. UNINSTALLED.

Apps works well in all area except near border town.... the apps hanged/frozed.... due to too many signals detected. Hope this can be solved. It is an excellent app

Good, improvements possible for my purposes - I want to record the signal over days not minutes, but it is way better than all the others I tried

but it doesn't log signal strength (RSSI and RSRP)... why? The information logged is not really of any value without this information.

Surprisingly this app is pretty good. It allows me to see in good detail about the network I'm connected to and which MSC/MSC I'm on. Pretty decent for a free app!

I don't know anything about this app and don't care...all I really care and important info in this app is the cell signal network value..hihi..thanks developer..

Very handy to be able to log a loss of signal and what CID's I connect to. If only it could tell me how far away the Cell is, I would be happy.

A great tool to measure signal at any location plus gives option's for these to be seen later.

THIS IS THE BEST GSM/LTE SIGNAL METER APP FOR ANDROID VER.4 AND EARLIER BUT... IT DOESNT WORK ON ANDROID VER.5 LOLLIPOP... PLEASE UPDATE THIS EXCELENT APP...

On Galaxy S6 running Android 5.1.1 app doesn't show signal strength other than -51 or cell details, although strength can be seen in android settings -> about device

Problem with huawei honor 7, the rsrp rssi cant read . static value. Got any idea how to fix this.

Not bad stuff, but I miss RNC and RSSI from the log. Apart from that it is a quite good tool.

I use this app for testing after installing a DAS system, it works great to let me me know signal quality...

CID should be long int format and not support 4G LTE on my Lenovo K3 Note (display incorrectly).

I have very bad GSM signal here my phone keeps dropping down to two 2G this application works

Unfortunately it does not work with 2 SIMs on Galaxy S6 Duos.

As I am in Ofc transmission, this app is very useful to know the status of GSM site on completion of slicing of OF cable.
