A good app to help get started with a first veg patch but i would love to see this developed to merge with the 'My RHS' area of the main website. The convenience and simplicity of an app, but with the bigger database of other garden flowers and shrubs.

Would really rather see a unified app that works with the main the site and allows me to plan the entire garden, not just the food patch.

No sign in so if you change phone you've lost everything. Also needs to sync with the website

I give this a 4 cause I love it but there are no succulents so I dont really like how dumb it is they have succulents as the home pictures but none I HATE IT.

Ok ish. Fairly basic for those who have grown veg for a number of years, I like the idea of My Notes which is in effect a diary but this is where I have a problem with the app, it orders the notes on the first number of the date and it appears you can not alter this. If you write a note say 6th, 12th, 23rd June and then write a note 9th July, this will be placed between the 6th & 12th of June! Perhaps the Devs could educate me on the fix or fix the problem themselves.

The app is quite crude. For example it is not possible to edit notes or to save photos What is inexcusable is that there is no way to export and import your data. You lose everything each time you change phone. * I edited this review and reduced it to one star. Because I had to change phones and lost all of my data. Don't use this app unless you want to risk losing all the records that you have entered. It's rubbish really.

The app is a great idea but needs further development and more features to be truly useful. I live in Northern Scotland where the sowing times are vastly different to those down south so we need the option to automatically adjust (by last frost date in area - see gardenfocused website for example or manually amend the date for each task. Options to delete unwanted tasks from the list, add personal notes, plan rotations or garden layout would also be improvements.

I agree with earlier comments about linking the user profile on the RHS website to the app. Pity, as I spent some time filling in the info on the site and now cannot re-use the information. Still expect it to be useful but a little frustrating when you have a lot of plants to update the web app and mobile app. May the best version win? @dev team: please consider this with the relevant decision makers/budget team. It is not a complex request and fairly reasonable I should think.

Doesn't connect with your account. I spent a long time setting up my account on the website, adding all my plants. I am not doing it all over again in this app when RHS already holds that data! I thought this app would be a good solution to the clunky website, which is just as bad due to slow loading times and a poor search engine.

Seems to be a solid, informative app, but the list of plants is rather small and some fairly common plants haven't been included - one example is lavender, which I have in my garden, while some slightly more unusual plants have been included on the app instead. Are more plants going to be added in future?
