It's Google. There are very few mistakes. I'd like to be able to better select the news sources. There are a few that give me an error or warning message when I click on them. They say that I can only read 'X' amount of stories without subscribing. Obviously, that is serious B.S. I'd like to be able to deselect then so that I never see them again.

Worst feature in any news app I use: open an article in Google News, get halfway (or any distance) through, accidentally move your phone enough to change orientation, and go back to the top whether you like it or not. Happened to me when I was in the top 20 of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs. No one else does this, and no one likes it. Please fix it.

First I PAY for YouTube, I'm logged in the app and browser, yet you make me watch ads on YouTube videos played in Google News. Sent 100s of feedback and no one fixes. Also, I HATE that Google doesn't the the user customize their "For You" tab. Constant undesired news, I cannot update my own list of likes or dislikes. Cannot block "Local News"... Google only shows murder and crimes in local news. Let the user control their feed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't make is easy to tweak the app. Some websites dropped into my feed do not allow me to read them without payment. It gets frustrating seeing so many of them in the feed. Post Media has some free content so how about putting some of it in the feed. The Technology fee is great along with World and Business. I also appreciate the way I can tweak the settings and save pages of interest. Overall it's an easy app to read with plenty of articles. It doesn't freeze up nor play videos unless I hit play. Thank You!

Used to be a great news aggregator, but lately it's rare for an "amp" page to simply open and display; I get more "webpage unavailable" errors than I do articles, and must open the original page in a browser. Beyond that, the same, stale, old articles remain day after day (and refreshing does nothing). Isn't there some way to mark an article as read? Finally, why doesn't the app remember that I've told it to hide all articles from various sources with paywalls?

can't really customize. I have been reading this for as long as I can remember. But every fall I have to remind the app I hate sports. Literally half my feed was football and baseball today. I have disliked all sports in every way I could on the app. But I'm still flooded with it. With no way to say I dont like it. Its either I completely cut off the producer or deal with it

Deciding whether to update the app today is an uncertainty because I need to monitor this app further to see (1) if it is one of those introducing a topic, and after a sentence or two, the word NEXT is clicked, followed by a sentence or two to continue on (NEXT, NEXT, NEXT) and end abruptly; and (2) if a subscription is required to read the listed articles. Redirecting can be frustrating! I will be watching for fulfilment of a good read without numerous place cards and/or marketing ploys.

All the news that's too small to read. For some time, I've noticed that some of the articles do not abide by my system settings for font size and display. And I have laboriously sent feedback when this happened. But the problem hasn't gone away, in fact, it has gone worse. Much worse. This morning I kept track. I opened 46 articles, and exactly 10 of them obeyed my settings. To put it bluntly, if I can't read an article, then, well, I can't read the article. Update: It's by design, and won't be fixed. I'll find another way to read news.

I have been a happy user of this app for more than 2 years now but in the last couple of months have been struggling with horizontal scroll. It is pretty bad that I have to close the app every time. It happens with most news pages but not on all news pages. This definitely needs a fix. Update 5/21 This is even worse now. Lost horizontal scrolling between news pages. Was working until yesterday. 9/20 Despite waiting several months I don't see any updates.

I think it is a bug that I am 13 years old and it is not letting me log in and saying "Not available for your account" while Google Podcast, YT Music, YouTube and all the other apps work fine. Please fix this as soon as possible. I really want to use this app 🙏🙏🙏
