Measure helps you with quick everyday measurements around the house or office, similar to a tape measure. With the Measure app, you can:
• Measure the length and height of objects on flat surfaces, like the size of a rug, the width of a sofa or the height of a table
• Easily switch between imperial and metric units
• Take a photo of your measurement
• Copy measurements to the clipboard
Move your phone around the space to find flat surfaces, such as a tabletop or the floor. Point and tap to start your measurement and adjust it accordingly. When finished, tap on measurements to get quick reference to unit conversions, as well as copy and delete functions.
Measurements taken with this app are estimates.

Amazing idea, possibly not stable. Tried it a few hundred times. If it didn't crash within the first 5 seconds it was actually pretty good. It was good enough to decide how to rearrange my furniture. But that took dozens of attempts to keep it from crashing. And my phone (note10+) got uncomfortably hot to the touch, no other app has ever done that.

Changed my rating to 4 stars, now that you can drag and drop to adjust the points after the initial measure. I would rate it 5 if you could start a measurement with pin drops. Opened the app after not using it for a few months. The interface is different; you used to measure by dropping and dragging measurements and it was great. Now it's more difficult, and moving to take a measurement moved the value off the screen. I just went in to the garage for my tape measure instead :/

First off, this app is NOT totally accurate. It's truly amazing what it's able to do right now, but with the technology we have it would be pretty much impossible for an APP to be as precise as physically measuring an object. If you want to get a rough estimate, go right ahead, it works wonders. But if you're looking for an exact measure, do it physically.

Not accurate and doesn't recognize objects in the screen. I am trying to measure the monitor inches that I saw at my friend's house and it is recognizing everything that is around when I move my phone. But not that monitor. I finally gave up and thought of not wasting the time. I alwayssss argue with my friends who use iPhones and prove them that Android is best in so many ways. But this measure app and the messaging are the only ones I feel uncomfortable with talking about to my friends 😟.

  5. guest-avatar

Entirely inaccurate. If you don't care if your measurements are off by upwards of 10%, then perhaps it's useful. As an actual tool it is no replacement for a tape measure, despite the convenience.

  6. guest-avatar

The few times that I was able to use it, I looked it and found it helpful. Now it crashes as soon as I start scanning left and right. Would have given a 4.5 rating if it weren't for the crashes.

  7. guest-avatar

Just to check its accuracy, I measured a box that is 18" with a tape measure and this app told me it was 23", I was hoping for better results, seems like there would be some sort of calibration setting in the app, but I couldn't find one.

  8. guest-avatar

Not accurate. This is simply not usable in its current state. I love the idea, but it needs a lot more work. Also, improve indoor detection. I'm not in a dark room, but the app has difficulties in normal indoor light situations.

I've always been skeptical on the accuracy of any measuring app, but this app made a believer out of me. It's accurate and so simple to use.

No easy to use...its difficult to get started and instructions are not good. "Move phone slowly from left to right" but what is the purpose of the dashed circle? Should I push it, hold it...what?

  11. guest-avatar

This app sounds great but doesnt work well. I tried measuring a water bottle but when I actually measured it the app was off by 2cm. If it were around 1cm or less away I would be fine with that but it wasnt.

  12. guest-avatar

Good idea but it's not accurate specially in a open area, can't recognize the picture depth which is because of hardware limitations.

  13. guest-avatar

2020-03 Still inaccurate, still heats up your phone, still drains your battery. I really want it to work as intended.

  14. guest-avatar

Works amazingly well and is so easy to use and share! Double checked with a tape measure and it was spot on.

So far I like this app I think it will only get better as AR technology improves. I measured with app and tape measure, the app was off by a few cm.
