    This app works intermittently and crashes constantly. On multiple occasions I have been required to pay a fare when I have already bought a weekly ticket through the fault of this app being broken. I'm running it on a Samsung Galaxy 7 so it should be more than capable. On top of this the live timetable feature disappears at random and many stops have no bus information at all. An excellent idea but executed awfully.

    I did like this app but I have been refused access to 2 buses this week because the app crashed and I could not produce a valid ticket. I pay £105 a month for my ticket, I should not have to pay another fiver just to get to work.

    Rubbish. The app worked fine for a while but one day it wouldn't open without instantly crashing. Thinking it was my device I uninstalled and reinstalled it... Now I can't log in. It doesn't recognise my login credentials. Useless.

    Just crashes when you try and open it. Bus time feature is a great idea but is randomly removed when there are any schedule changes i.e. a bank holiday weekend. So the ONE time you'd check the app to see when a bus is coming, you can't.

    Edit: Crashing has been fixed, I now have a ticket, but active bus timetable is still offline. Previous: Was 5 stars. Now loads and instantly crashes. I have re installed the app with no success as crashing means I can't log in. I have an active ticket I now can't use. I will be seeking a refund if not fixed.

    From 5 stars back to 1! It opens with a blank screen and closes when trying to refresh. Very disappointing!! Back to Google Maps for my live bus times. Previous review .... Changed my review from 1 star hating it to 5 stars. For me this latest update is great! I only use it for bus times for my saved bus stop and now it's so responsive and slick with very little delay. Well done!!

    Worked for about a month, now it doesn't log in and I can't get to work. Even when it does run half the features crash out the app or just refuse to load. Sometimes it'll even log you out for no reason. Thanks but this is the worst app I've ever seen

    A disgrace to the word Application. Works rarely, crashes constantly & on the extremely occasion it does work, serves no purpose. Only gave it one star as you cannot give less, otherwise a -5 would have given. Immediately uninstalled.

    Totally rubbish, can rarely get bus times, and when I do it's invariably different from the information on the timetable at the bus stop. App won't even let me contact customer services to ask why the app doesn't work. None of their other apps have worked well either, worse than their bus service and that is a hard thing to achieve. Please don't bother wasting your time with this one. ZERO STARS

    Love the ability to see when buses are actually coming. Really frustrating that I can't save bus stops as promised: it just tells me every time that Go North East has stopped, even after switching off my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling. The high number of bad reviews means I won't even attempt to buy a ticket in the app.

    Not very good. Doesn't even work when loading the timetable, I might as well just use Google maps. It's easy to buy tickets which is the most important for them I suppose.

    This app has taken years off my life due to stress. Sometimes it's fine, and other times it'll take 20 minutes to open, and then crash just as I'm getting on the bus so I'm unable to show my £60 bus ticket. I feel like being able to open should be the first thing an app should do.

    I assume this is a fraudulent scam set up by go northeast. You buy your ticket through the app but the app keeps crashing , resulting in you having to pay for your journey again . Go northeast, taking you for a ride in more than one way!

    Please add a setting so that the app can be configured to show an active mobile ticket as soon as it is started. Surely this is just common sense? Few if any people will use their phone ONLY to run the GoNorthEast app, and I have lost count of the times that I am left fumbling with the phone while getting on a bus because my ticket does not display when the app starts. This will frustrate both drivers and passengers, particularly those of us over 50 with less than perfect eyesight who cannot see (without putting on reading glasses) which icon to click WITHIN the app to bring up the active tickets.

    Ridiculous, the time tables decided when and if they want to show up on the app, meaning if you need to be somewhere and check the time you've got to go the bus stop, doesn't help if you're in a hurry also

    Using samsung s8. App keeps crashing when trying to save a rout which has lead me to not use the app for my ticket purchase which is very upsetting. I use the arriva apps without fault and i think they should be nothing less than identical in this age. Please fix this soon as having to keep track of tickets in my wallet is very much a stoneage a activity.

    It does the job (but it does take a while). I prefer the Arriva app as it uses an actual live map rather than timetables (which usually aren't live, or are delayed in getting info to the app). Journey planner is also a bit of a clart on, I prefer using the one on their actual website.

    Latest update has broken the app on both my S8 and my wife's S3-Mini. CANNOT login and get a brief error about an invalid string. Have tried total clean and reinstall but no luck. Please fix as I use this app a lot.

    Crashes upon start-up 50% of the time. Absolute disgrace from a company who pushes the app as the way to pay for travel - I have been required to pay twice on several occasions due to the app not working.

    Meant to save money using this app to buy a ticket, but it crashes often and sometimes requires an internet connection to even open (which isn't ideal when in a bus stop). Stopped using it altogether as I was sick of having to buy tickets on the bus after already bought a monthly ticket on the app.

    Crazy..links to phone number, and won't create a new account to that number if you lose access to the email account you registered with. My talk talk account was closed a year ago so I guess I'm now locked out forever!!

    In times of crisis (bus turning up) this app either refuses to load up or crashes after pre-launching it in preparation for the bus pulling in at the stop. Pathetic app.

    Absolute rubbish, it keeps crashing all the time and I've reported it to GNE who assured me that it would be fixed, this is about as reliable as their bus service.

    This app is awful - unless you enjoy what I've affectionately come to refer to as 'Bus Ticket Roulette' (a stress-inducing game that leaves the fate of you paying for both a digital bus ticket and a physical one totally out of your hands at the mercy of an app that shows error codes for debugging but makes them unreportable because you can't use the screenshot function) - I would avoid.

    I am working 48 hours this week and the app has crashed 6 times, I had to pay for the bus today, even though I have paid a lot of money for a months pass. I find using the app more convenient as I do not tend to carry cash often however the app has many problems and need to be resolved, as it is a good idea it just doesn't work.

    Buy a ticket they said. I have lost count of how many times I and my partner have opened our ticket to get a white box with an 'OK' button and nothing else. I have had to call so many times to here excuses and still pay for a ticket regardless of paying £66 for the month as I have work to go to, to pay for a ticket that gets me to work when it wants to work. To many bugs and completely unreliable. Sort out that issue and the app would be perfect. Not even had this for two month yet.

    Ignoring all of the other features... The process of buying, activating, and displaying a ticket is consistently reliable. Which is all that matters to me. I'm not sure what so many people are having trouble with because in my 6+ months of using the app it had crashed once.

    What has happened to the live bus times? The ability to look up bus times from a chosen stop is no longer available! The only options now are for purchasing tickets or viewing existing tickets! Sort it out please!

    Live timings not on most of the time. When they are they're not always accurate. Picking a bus stop often gives the wrong times or misses buses going one way. Arriva app is much better

    Slow to load up. Keeps saying login failed. Nothing wrong with my details. They work perfectly fine on the desktop site. The previous app was much better. When it does work, it can be confusing finding bus times, as there will often be multiple choices for some stops or bus stations. Its then a pain having to select each one, until you find the right one. The app needs totally redesigning.

    Freezes often. Fails to log in. Often has multiple options for the same stop making it confusing finding the right info. Live bus times are not live at all. All it does is quote the timetable. If I wanted to know the timetable I'd look at the sign on the stop. Uninstalling.

    This app has always been buggy but now they have removed the ability to see what time buses are due. This is a 'core' function of this app. I don't trust the app to manage my tickets but do use it for times. Unless this returns there is no need for me to use the app. Go North East, please fix this app.

    I have an account on the website to buy tickets. I can log in, change things and it all works. The app, using the same id and password, says I am unrecognised and I cant login. I can even do a password reset from the app and this works on the website but not on the app. No way of flagging up problems from inside the app either. Useless.

    Suddenly the timetable information has disappeared making the app almost pointless. The features were good and comprehensive but this app crashes far too often to be considered professionally produced, and I'm using a powerful OnePlus 3T.

    Bought ticket on app. Had app open to get on bus. App kicks me out and will not let me log back in. Had to buy a new ticket. Will be claiming my money back. Happened too many times now. Will not be using go north east app again. Would give it 0 stars if there was an option

    I would give it minus stars if i could! Crashed wouldnt re open no matter what i did couldnt get on the bus as i had no money only my bank card half an hour in a queue to customer services then they had to okey it with a supervisor and ring me back...after id reinstalled it and it was saying my ticket was purchased on a different device...hour late for work which i dont get paid for...thank you very f*****g much...cheers! This was 3 years ago I've tried it again... still doesn't work properly!!!

    Since I was forced to update the app I have issues loading my tickets and have had to pay again for bus journeys. Please bring out an update to fix this. It worked fine before. If it ain't broke don't fix it

    I would give this zero stars if possible. Multiple times I have got onto my bus and the app hasn't loaded. So the fortune I spend on a monthly ticket is then added to with single ticket purchases due to a rubbish app. I will not be renewing my monthly ticket with you and I will return to Arriva, who provide a far better app and a far better service.

    Great when it works. Doesn't work most of the time. Had to reinstall twice now, because tickets wouldn't load and now main screen won't so I'm unable theme buy a new ticket.

    Haven't used this app for a while but it used to work fine, especially for tracking buses which I only use occasionally.It seems it has now been updated and won't let me log in to do anything. I have no problem logging in via the website. It looks like I am experiencing the same problems as many others. Disappointing as I found it quite useful when required.

    It won't do anything except give me a list of services! My mobile is connected to fast wi-fi but this app will not connect to the server for the timetable and keeps asking me to check my connection.

    Can't see any basic information on bus routes. Cant see normal dqy today prices to compare prices. I only use bus to get to work 4 days a week no way of finding out best deal.

    Absolute rubbish. It crashes all the time. Is slow and as its an app which needs to be used in real time it holds up buses while it crashes and reloads - incredibly slowly. Every update seems to make it worse too. Awful awfuuull awful.

    Works, but has a habit of freezing when a bus gets within 20 feet of the phone. Good thing the bus drivers are aware of the issue and are ok about it. The live departures have disappeared from it as well, which isn't particularly helpful when you're trying to plan a journey where you need more than one bus.

    It used to be helpful and tell you the time of the next bus but this has been removed. Often crashes. Takes a long time to load. Only worth it to get slightly cheaper tickets.

    I don't know who thought the latest version was the one to go for, but it is now totally useless. Tells me incorrect times or that there are no buses scheduled for my stop. Used to just be able to tap in the service number and a whole list of times came up!
