Good, but a bit fiddly. It doesn't really deserve all the 1 star reviews. Some feedback: 1. Verify the account before letting the user do anything else. 2. Make the initial selection of the "type of journey" easier to use - presenting the user with a "search box" is a bit confusing. 3. Automatically scroll the screen when the next edit box is under the keyboard! Still needing to have paper copies of the documents is dumb.

This app is the most frustrating experience in years. It constantly freezes , throws error codes and you get stuck on pages and can't move forward. Then, if you have our experience, the approved record never makes it to the airline and we STILL had to be manually verified. I wish I could get the time I wasted back. ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

Useless app. You cannnot scan a screenshot taken on your phone or a document saved on your phone. I had to take a screenshot of the photo on my tablet. Everything was verified, have the green light. Except that I cannot check in with American Airlines, which states my documents have not been verified. Arghhhh. A total waste of time.

This is absolutely one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had and I haven't even set foot into the airport, all of these extra steps and hoops to jump through on American Airlines part are painful at best. I don't get why I have to download 3 different apps that all do the exact same things and ask all the same question just so I can be underwhelmed by poor service and sad inflight entertainment. I don't get why its not as simple as here's my money, you give me a ticket and we're done.

Very poor UX, completely unintuitive. So many things are wrong, such as having to scan a qr code likely on your phone, how do I scan something on the phone screen? Manually additing a trip requires to first search then navigate obscure terminology to understand what is required, for example what are "travel authorization documents"? Is it COVID vaccination certificate? I have no idea and the help is helpless. And so on. Please test your app with users before releasing it.

Mysterious, unusable, worthless app. At first there's no clear way to do anything, then you realize there is literally no way to do anything at all. American Airlines forces you to use it to do online check-in now, but they've never tested it themselves because there's no way to do anything with the app. Can't upload documents, can't upload QR code, can't do anything.

What a horrendious nightmare of an app. This app has no underatanding that i might already be at my destination and flying back to the US. It is functionally broken and unusable. It also requires you to create an account. Good thing I used a throw-away, becaise that is exactly what im doing with this app.

This app is awful I can not believe that airline makes you download it and use it to check in for flight. The app does not save any information I will just show paperwork at airport. Avoid this at all cost bad app and I do not trust their privacy policy they are selling the information you provide.

Doesnt work. I can't get travel advice using the app. Planning to fly to Frankfurt, but the app only offers the choice of two carriers, meaning I can't complete entering the trip on the app to get the travel advice.

It actually worked. I think it's an unnecessary step, but there could be better instructions on what to do and how to create a pass. Impossible to scan a code on my phone and it didn't accept the one on my printout, so I had to manually enter the info. But it did take the PDF upload. Only took about 10 minutes for approval
