Reviews From google play store

The app is now defunct and no longer works correctly. The "Events" sign in page no longer loads. The app also still has in-app purchases which promises the money will go to future development, but in reality it won't because the app is defunct.

couldn't post comments, and last version crashes instead of opening.

error when opening file in git, please fixed that ( my device redmi note 2 )

It's awesome!

This is the only decent app that I can use to do merges on the go :(

Starred repositories list

After using this app for more than 8 months now I have to say it rocks, it looks good, is stable, get nice updates quite often and what is the most important it is very intuitive and easy to use.

Navigating pull request and forks is a pain in the ass.

Even prettier than the GitHub web UI. Only bug I see is when you refresh on the commits page, the list of commits duplicates itself Everytime you refresh

... from organisations.

Looks good

Brilliant app! Developer is very helpful and makes useful changes.

I still prefer the old repo interface, the new one doesn't really look fit and its crowded. What i meant by adding an option to the settings screen is to actually either show the new interface or the old one. I do appreciate your efforts to make the app better but imho the old interface does look away better and more conventional than the new one.

Used the app for 10 minutes. Filed 3 bug reports! Seems somewhat unstable.

Developer is really fast at fixing bugs, amazing user support. I would participate in beta testing.

Would be nice if the markdown text colour changed to white when using the dark theme. Also, the images in my readme don't show up.

Straight away it's asking for my username and password. Why? I just want to browse Github and why would I enter my password in your dodgy looking app

I've tried alot of them and this one is by far the best. Fully loaded features and frequent updates too!

ima url bar, ima sve

I enjoyed using the app but for the past few days it stopped showing up as an option when trying to open a GitHub repository from another application (eg GitHub Trends) The other clients still show up (Octodruid, ForkHub)

Unlike most GitHub clients, this one actually shows line comments, with the associated line and its context. Nice. Unfortunately, there is no way to respond to those line comments. Not nice.

The app us awesome, stable and performing. There is a slight issue with notifications not arriving most of the time if that can be fixed it will be even better. Also would be happy to see a markdown parser to not view the raw content of readme docs etc.

An excellent (and ad free!) GitHub client. More fully featured that the others, just hoping the last bits and pieces (issue deletion, check box rendering) get added eventually.

The best GitHub client ever. For those of you who are complaining about no notifications, there's an option in the sidebar to turn them on. However, that should really be enabled by default.

The update broke everything for me! Device details: Build version: 2.17.3 Build date: 2016-07-17 18:07:20 Current date: 2016-07-28 12:01:59 Device: Samsung SM-G930P UPDATE: Sorry, this was resolved a few weeks ago when I put in an issue on GitHub. Now, since I have used the app for a bit, I can give a fair review! The app is great, providing a great UI, amazing features, and the ability to push commits to websites. This is something that most other GitHub apps can't even come close to doing. It's truly amazing, you guys deserve tons of credit!

It's miles better than even the official GitHub website.. Fantastic job!

Whenever I try to get to any of the repos I Contributed to, it shows no results.

Fairly buggy. I tried using it to look at a bug report I submitted after clicking a link in my email, and 1. First, I kept on getting errors that were evidently because I had been logged out (this wasn't otherwise obvious), 2. Logging in and clicking the link to the issue took me to the main page of the repo. 3. Load the issues tab took multiple retries. 4. After pulling up my bug report, and clicking a link within it, that piece of code didn't load This was my only time using the app and I had a negative experience trying to do something fairly basic despite being far more persistent than the average user.

Best github app for android in my opinion. Had slight issue and dev fixed the issue in a few hours! Cannot be better. Thanks for all the hard work and will be supporting the Devs

Great design and fully featured. It's the best design I've seen for a github app. It puts the official app to shame. Also, the dev does a great job of keeping the app updated and implementing user feedback.

Build version: 2.13.2 Build date: 2016-05-24 20:14:46 Current date: 2016-05-30 12:21:33 Device: LGE Nexus 5 Stack trace: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Fatal Exception thrown on Scheduler.Worker thread. at at android.os.Handler.handleCallback( at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage( at android.os.Looper.loop( at at java.l

I donated to this app and I will donate again. Great UI, awesome features. I do miss the "trending github repos" but last time I checked the GH API did not allow to get that info easily so that's that.

Cards on issue pages are super ugly and goes against material guidelines.

Really love the overall look and feel of the app and it works just like a charm!

Best app for github I've found

my Precious 💍

Only some of the things that is provided seems to work

Still very confusing to use and generally not as user-friendly compared to ForkHub

I use this app heavily. Works on every device of mine. But crashing in Nexus 10 at launch. So can't move forward.

I am a rails developer and it's very helpful app. It is a to-go app. Nice effort developers

New login system doesn't work, can't even use the app now.

Finally got all working. Design and functionality is very nice and the dev updates quickly.

Do not open big issues :(

Although in this version scrolling and zooming in the files in the repo hangs/freezes the app every second or so.. The rest is brilliant though.

0/S update , NOW Just Won't load blue screen And hangs . WAS top teir

Absolutely perfect. I need to be able to check my repositories while I'm at work to make sure I didn't mess things up, and this works perfectly for that. Only problem I have is with the dark theme, viewing code in a commit is kind of hard. The green and red with white text doesn't exactly fit well.

It works like every other github "browser". As a dev, I'd love to see push notifications about issues & comments on them so I can keep track of my projects. Among that syntax highlighting on markdown code snippets would be very useful.

For gists "copy-to-clipboard" copies the gist contents and not the gist URL, there are two share options for gists, one crashes the app, one copies gist contents. The update before last fixed a loading bug I had, overall the app is pretty unstable (failed to comment on a PR, lost comment, can't copy comments, copy options get hidden when comment gets too long and I scroll down). I'd also like to list repos I've contributed to (or at least starred).Update: I used the app for a while and nothing got fixed, 1*

I love the new night mode. Somewhat confusing navigation.

Probably the best alternative for the official Github app, and it's open source too.

Beautiful UI and easy to use. Great job!

Love the app! Glad to see it's open source, and on GitHub!

Great mobile github client with support for just about every github feature.

I won't get any notifications on contributors commits although the toggle is enabled..

Please include a dark AMOLED theme

Best app for browser github

But overall the app isn't too bad! Unfortunately my biggest use case would be opening GitHub links in this app.

For now, it just shows the actual markdown text and not the formatted text.

Far superior to the official app.

This was a great app, really nicely laid out and intuitive to navigate various repositories. However since an update, my account hasn't been able to sign in. It just bounces back to the app and doesn't load the 2 factor authentication prompt. Fix that, and will update reviews to 5* UPDATED: Logs in great with 2 factor authentication - need to request a Token from Github and use that to login. Many thanks to the Developer!

Back button while browsing source code results in going back completely. Additionally there's no recent activity for a given user

Beautiful Material Design.

Would like CSS rendering in Readme sections.

Agree with the other reviews, I don't feel comfortable allowing permission to delete repositories. Once the custom scopes are added I will update my review :)

The notification option don't work when a close the app. Please fix it. It's a good app.

Great app but for the last couple of version I can't seem to switch branches...

Great app for managing my GitHub account. Thanks!

Awsome app! Would be great if trending repos could be added

Best github client!

This app has a nice notifications page that's easily accessed that allows you to unsubscribe from threads. Navigation is also simple and easy. You can see your issues and contribute to a threads without any hassle. Plus it looks nice. I'm looking forward to using it more.

I'm afraid it doesn't let me log on github because it doesn't detect any "favorite browsers"...

I really like it, even more so after seeing the app itself using the MIT license - good work, keep it up!

Tons of bugs, as well as fundamentally broken UX

You need to add Gifs. I like to view the gif animations of the iOS projects.

Hi, thanks for fixing duplicate entries issue in such short time. Amazing app. Loved it.

Works well and is beautifully designed

After recent update, the app became slow and unresponsive, takes a long time to load a file and then the code is just plain text, not highlighted as code. Please fix.

Constantly improving, and already does everything I need in a mobile github app, especially with the recent addition of PR merging (thanks!). A must have for every github user. Keep up the good work. EDIT just noticed the "Support Development" link, so I did. Worth every penny.

My organisations don't appear in the app, however the events of contributions to the organisations appear, and so github has authenticated the app to see the organisation. It's frustrating to only be able to see the commits and not navigate the repository. The app looks really nice though.

I am sick of seeing it's Stopped error even when it's in the bg.

This works very well, and is being very actively developed/maintained. One thing I wish it has would be font size adjustment (and maybe optimally reflow) for the overview tab (source code font is already adjustable).

App looks good and works well. Developer is responsive to feedback and is doing a good job. Fixed the problem with gists I had in a previous version of the app.

Excelente app con mejoras constantes

Was one of the best apps for github, sad that it's being discontinued

Hi, this looks very nice, but when I try to access my organization under the organizations tab, it is blank. EDIT: This has been fixed.

It is saying I don't have any organizations though when I have a few.

This is the best GitHub app I've ever used!

it is usefull and i like it,but its crashing a lot in my galaxy note

My go to source for all my GitHub needs. I also have a suggestion, to make this app even more amazing. It should include a News tab; for all the repositories your watching, starred etc

But Markdown here isn't the same as GitHub's. The readability still needs improvements.

best github client out there :)

This is the best app for your repositories in github. And the plus: view source code and create gist easily.

I've been delighted with how easy to use this app has been. I can't think of any criticism of it. Looking forward to seeing what new features the devs will add in the future to improve this great app further.

Well designed and good functionality but would like to see better code views as it feels like a browser window.

Pleeease find a better way to format the code. If the code snippets looked as good in this app as they look in the chrome browser, this would be a 5 star app for sure

I would love to be able to see repo graph and to be able to tag users in comments. BTW if you want help developing it. Let me know
