Terrible interface. Operation is confusing and disorganized. Some steps of the process had to be done on the app, some on the web interface. I added money to the inmates account thinking that would let me send a message. You actually have to add money to your "families and friends account" to send a message. Not sure how I even got that to work. Just clicked every button I could find until I got something through. The service being provided is important, but this app is garbage.

It has its bugs. And there is other options, that other counties utilize as their messaging and phone system. But so far as a first time user I've ran into a few error & a glitch here and there. But overall I feel blessed to communicate with family that is incarcerated. I gave this app a five star rating for a a couple different reasons. I noticed the inmate & you can take a picture. So that was nice. And you can message & deposit money on to Their account. I also was glad to see video visitatio

The app doesn't work period I only get to the first page and doesn't go any further Just keeps spinning for no reason like other REVIEWS SAID IT BETTER...IT DOESN'T WORK! "In my opinion" GTL Getting Out © ®™ was a very bad experience for me, they never refunded money that was wrongly placed in someone else's account, said they would refund my debit card 5 to 7 days but have not done so far. Video calls are overcharged, and freeze up. Text messages and pictures did not get app. Even though there is nothing, no one, in pictures that would make them objectionable. Takes a 2-week to be approved. It is my experience that this company has cheated me of a lot of money..

Was frustrated, going to leave a poor review. Then I called customer service, got a live person on Thanksgiving within 2 min, and cleared up the "glitches ". (Not all facilities allow both parties to request a video visit-inthkught therapy was broke). Helpful and knowledgeable! Should have called them immediately!

Half the time it locks up. Every time I do video the sound doesn't work. Greedy and expensive for family members to use to keep contact with family members. Can't send pictures even though it offers that capability. No refunds of unused monies.

This is a bad app. And the worst part is no one seems to be managing it. Is it because of the situation our loved ones are in? I bet if it was an app that was making a ton of money with microtransactions someone would try to fix the issues. Video calling doesn't work at all! That's why I downloaded the app to be able to see my brother. So pointless. Careless management of it. That's what it all comes down to. They just don't care.

When I first downloaded this app, which was a month ago, I could send pictures....now it won't let me send pictures nor does it even give that option. This app also glitches ALL the time, and freezes up! We don't even send messages anymore because it has become more of a hassle!

This app is terrible. I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall it back. It constantly says I have $0 when I literally have like $10 minimum at all times. It deleted my old account for no reason and I lost the money I had on there. There never anyone u can talk to about these issues. I mean y'all need to get it together. There's no reason for this I pay alot of money to talk to my loved one and it's just so messed up how you guys don't care. Yes they're in jail but why make an app u can't use

Once typing word's goes past the "send icon" I have to keep hitting the "back icon" to find it, if it goes beyond visual sight I can't send a message.... fix this!! I've lost several messages due to this malfunction... starting over isn't fun!! The ecards are a joke, categories scattered from top to bottom, plus they're actually very drab... some pictures don't even get through yet they were approved and I paid to send tgem... I never had any problem's with JPAy... EVER!!
