Hands down the best one in the whole store! It has the most and best customizable features so you can have your keyboard set up exactly just the right way you want it! It has talk to text so you dont have to waste time with all that texting! You can choose different themes and best of all you can use your favorite picture as your darn keyboard! How cool is that!!! It's just down right AWESOME!!! Thanks G!

As others have mentioned, there is a 1-2 second lag when you start typing & it occurs when you hit the space bar after your first word. It is not isolated to a specific app, it's occuring everywhere. It could be in a text, in an email, in the browser, in your Google search bar...same issue. Once it recovers, it's ok, but the next time you start typing again, it will have that same lag. Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it's fixed. Not sure if it will work for others, but worth a try

Worst part is that with new gesture navigation on android the keyboard is way too far down on the edge of the screen. I feel like i really have to force my thumbs down to be able to type. Setting key height to large did not help. There needs to be a l configurable empty space below the keyboard. Also settings are way too hidden. No way to see and test the keyboard while changing settings.

I've used this app for a long time it is my go-to whenever I purchase a new device I wish the text to speech was a little bit more accurate because that can be very frustrating when it's something important and the words need to come out exactly as I say I would volunteer to test out ideas on how this can be improved upon request this app work very well. I think many people possibly take it for granted at just how desirable and user friendly interface more customization would be great. Thanks

Version 10.7.05 of GBoard is my first experience with this keyboard app because it came with my new phone. I immediately noticed a lag with the space bar key. In reading the reviews this is apparently a very recent bug. Also disappointed that when adding phrases to the personal dictionary it's very limited in character count. I like to store commonly used templates for responding to messages and some of them may be as long as a paragraph or two....this app limits it to about a sentence.

Great on customization but it's missing a few key things. For one, the swipe young only does one word at a time and you can't implement multiple words with spaces. The other annoying thing is that when I add shortcuts to my dictionary such as "omw" for "on my way" it doesn't automatically correct for them. Other than these few things it's been great for the 1 hour I've used it.

I prefer the Google board over the built in Samsung one. I tried for a week with Samsung and the word suggestions and autocorrect weren't even close. Those are important for me. So I put Google board back on. It's intuitive, smarter, developed, and the swipe typing just gets it right every time. I'll never go back. Nope. I recommend using this app if it's not on your phone already. Do it.

Better than most other options. Recently though, I have had the keyboard not pop up when I tap to type something on my Galaxy S10. This issue occurs across all apps. After restarting my phone, the issue is resolved, but still annoying. It only happens once a week about, and I restart my phone almost everyday to keep things running smoothly anyways. In terms of usablitlity and use of plug-ins such as gify, etc., It's a great keyboard.

I love that I got this app!!! It allows me to change my background colors and print and also I'm able to make it small enough to the point it doesn't look so big on my phone and so nobody behind me or someone at work can't eavesdrop and be nosy and try to read my texts while I'm texting someone!!! And their is no gimmick for money and very very easy to use!!! I just wish I could put like a personal picture on the background for certain contacts....

I am a regular user of Gboard. It's a great app as keyboard. But it would be more useful if there were features like copy, paste and cut. I used some keyboards where they added these features. In those keyboards we were able to copy selected text by long pressing c, cut them by long pressing x and paste copied text by long pressing v. These are very useful features especially for those who are related to text formatting. Hope Google will add these features in Gboard.
