The Game of Life is a cellular automaton devised by Dr John Conway in 1970. The game is a zero-player game, meaning that its evolution is determined by its initial state. One interacts with the Game of Life by creating an initial configuration and observing how it evolves. 1. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if by needs caused by underpopulation. 2. Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding. 3. Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives, unchanged, to the next generation. 4. I literally have know words to express my satisfaction. The most amazing thing about this app is it allows you take your own rules. And the concept of cells warping and not warping made me really happy. You can set size, speed....... And A lot. If you are reading this then I would definitely recommend this app to you.

This is what is says it is. Not much more, except for the list of other people's "patterns" that you can use, and the ability to customize the rules of the game. I would've given five stars had it been for the fact that you don't have history, that is, the ability to go back a certain number of generations. Other than that, I would certainly recommend.

Great app, no ads and no strings attached makes for a very fun experience. If you enjoy these sorts of games you should download this app. However, move mode and paint mode are slightly confusing, and sometimes I paint when I mean to move, and vice versa.

This game really is hard to review. It's more of a thought experiment then a actual game so I'm just going to talk about the controls. It's pretty simple to use, but it can be annoying when you try to move across the screen but end up messing up your cells because you were in paint mode. It would be helpful if there was an undo button. Aside from that, it would be nice if there was a slider in place of the arrows for speeding up time and resizing the map.

Jts perfect...is what I thought at the beginning I've newly found out none of the eaters work wich are a designer that eats spaceships and and gliders that hit it if it doesn't work with its a official contraption it means there's a bug in the code I dont know how a bug coud work in a copy of conways game of life but I gues its possible le please fix this but besides this its my 2 most favorite conways game of life game number 1 is I cant remember its name. The app is very well made, and I found it very intuitive to customize all the options, but I wish there was a way to set the dimensions of the play area manually, instead of just up and down arrows. I want to try running the simulation in a square and it doesn't seem to be an option. If I somehow missed this in the settings please let me know.
