Marvelous concept, poor execution. Gave it a go twice in 2 different places in Marburg, Germany between a period of 4-5 months each with 2 different numbers. The best speed I could get was between 14-28 Mbps at the heart of the city, which is 10 minutes away from where I live. Everywhere the best I could get was 1 or 2 Mbps, which is ridiculous given the price you pay monthly (~22 Euros) going for thelowest option (1Go daily). If they get Telekom network coverage, they'll dominante the market.

The app itself isn't that bad, but the products is solely used for is utter garbage, the Internet is so slow that you and most speedtest (and even the one thats build into this app) will think you have no internet connection. And the support over whatsapp is a joke, where you get a bot that can't help you and human support just won't answer even after the bot assures you it notified them (still waiting after a while day). But if you enjoy Internet so slow you might as well not have any, goforit.

Amazing! Very fast internet. The process was fast and easy. The only big minus is EVERYTHING is in German. It is quite inconvenient. But it's worth looking up all the German words for unlimited fast internet on the go! Good job! Still, please do add English!

In theory this is great, but for some reason my phone cannot connect and this month i was only able to get 1.2 GB total out of this 30€ plan. 5 stars because the app is actually cool and because I'm pretty sure it's my mobile. (Yet other data sims work fine.)

Works almost perfect. Every once in a while (every few months) the app forgets the log in info and it has to be entered again. Besides that it's a prime example of how an app should be. Very good job, developers!

I rarely use the app, and it's annoying how often I have to enter my password again. Also, the remaining data volume display has never worked for me, and I have the app installed on two different phones.

I was skeptical but my experience with freenetFUNK so far is quite good. Of course nothing is perfect and there are some things that annoy me and thus this is not a five star review. One of them is the app not available in English which in my opinion is a must if you are a telecommunications company. Second is the daily payments through Paypal. I am paying through a foreign bank account and every foreign transaction costs 0.25 EUR. That is significant.

The app itself is not really that good. It looks flashy, but that is it. First, you cannot paste your password. This really sucks, because it encourages short passwords, instead of long, safe passwords. I am using keepass on a different device and transfer passwords via QR. Not being able to paste them is a big downer since they are all very long. The app also signs you out as soon as there is an issue with the connection, making above situation worse. There is no way I can remember my 20 characters long random passwords which utilize the whole ASCII charset. So, if you get signed out forcefully on the road, one can't use it anymore. Another thing is that you cannot pay via credit card without going over PayPal, which have violated multiple EU laws and regulations in the past and are known for behaving erratically. It is impossible to do business with PayPal in good faith.
