With FRITZ!App WLAN you can keep an eye on your wireless network at all times. Use the FRITZ!App WLAN for an easy connection from your Android smartphone or tablet to the wireless LAN of your FRITZ!Box or any other WLAN router. The FRITZ!App WLAN also provides you with useful details about the existing wireless connection. A graphic diagram presented in the FRITZ!App WLAN offers you additional transparency about the channel assignments of the various devices in your wireless LAN environment.

Since August 2018, Google's technical guidelines allow Android apps to display information on the wireless environment only if "location" rights have been enabled for the app. AVM has no influence on these Android guidelines.
If you do not wish to grant location rights and your device has an Android version older than Android 9 (Pie) installed, you can use the FRITZ!App WLAN Basic instead. The FRITZ!App WLAN Basic does not require location rights, as it is based on the state of the software before August 2018.

Minimum prerequisite:
- smartphone or tablet with Android version 4 or higher (App Version 2.0)
- smartphone or tablet with Android version 2.3 or higher (App version 1.2.1)

Many thanks for all the encouragement and five star ratings! We are overwhelmed and extremely motivated!

Reviews From google play store

When using Evaluate Repeater Location - If you have a Fritzbox acting as a Mesh Repeater connected via LAN from the Mesh Master but with another Mesh Repeater connected by WiFi from the 1st Mesh Repeater, the App cannot find the furthest Mesh Repeater. It only seems to query and expect Repeater connections from the Mesh Master. [ So if config is Mesh Master - LAN - Mesh Repeater - Wireless - Mesh Repeater, it says all Fritzboxes are connected via cable]. Also when testing Mesh Repeater Location, error message about not finding repeater is in German... EDIT - looks like you fixed this! Thanks.

Useful functionality and design, especially the goodput measurement! There's just an issue where it breaks when app-switching in the graph.

Very useful. Oddity: standard domestic Virgin system says behind repeater when, locally anyway, it is not.

Great app! Does everything what it supposed to. I used it daily for my work and i am verry satisfied with this app! Thanks to developers

Great app but....why isn't there an English version. I would give it a 5 star rating if it was available in English language.

I liked the app, before. now it's useful only to see wifi strength.I used this app before for connecting to my router as sometimes my repeater fails, but now i cant connect to router,i need to turn off the repeater to be able to connect to router.

What a joke! I use this with Fritz Box Router which is fantastic device but this app is useless joke. Since yesterday I have problem with my internet connection eg. no internet, but this app showing constantly that my internet connection is strong and fast. Useless. Unistalling.

Junk. Installed only to help locate a repeater. Just says "No FritzBox found" and "evaluate position" is disabled. My 3490 is configured as a master already. Why on earth does it need to see that anyway ?

Can't really say alot about this as most of it is in German,i don't read German, use to be good app not sure now as can't use most of the functions

An app which really helps u to determine how strong xour wifi effectively is! Really useful! Thanks!
