While it looks like it has potential, it doesn't seem to work well in the U.S. Very limited on many common ingredients. So many ingredients were defaulted to "never" in stock and it wouldn't let me change them. Also, most ingredients could only be marked as "always" or "sometimes" in stock even though they are items that I never buy. Good idea in theory but, useless for me.

I do not like it. From the description of, I thought this was going to be something where you list your ingredients, and then the app suggest different dishes based onfat. What actually happens is there's this giant list of billions of ingredients, some of them already selected, and then you select those ingredients, like beef, and then it lists all the recipes that has that involve beef. I found it far too confusing to use, and eventually just gave up.

So disappointed, hoping this app would allow me to inventory what's actually in my refrigerator and freezer -- and to incl my being able to note how much of each item. All this app allows is to checkmark a list of foods I like. Or "NEVER" have. Not an inventory. Would be so helpful and useful for me -- meal-planning and budgeting -- for a real inventory. And one that also includes being able to inventory my huge pantry, which has hundreds of items. Guess I'll keep searching for appropriate app.

must unconditionally agree to share your geolocation while the app is running (foreground or background) to view this app. that's a "no" for me. I understand ads that help offset costs, but already inundated with "targeted advertising". If I wanted someone looking over my shoulder to see where I am, what I'm doing, so they can push better ads at me, I'd just use Google.

Brilliant! Not just building from ingredients you likely have on hand, but also - perhaps more importantly - hiding those recipes that you have no interest in based on what you 'never' keep around (I'm looking at you, anchovies!) And it doesn't stop there - the recipe ingredient lists clearly show where you can swap out an ingredient for another, and, based on which you choose, adjusts the instructions AND THE AMOUNTS accordingly! Only rough patch is region-specific item names/availability.

This app is such a great idea, the ui is easy to use and it's well built. But I don't feel like it was made for me at all. I'm guessing it's European based (and that's fine!) but it leads me to having only about half of the listed foods, then having other foods I consider important left out. I feel like if the app was localized it'd be magic. The recipes are good; I just wish I could get real use out of it.

For wanting to focus on things that you use regularly or want new ways to use what you have and don't want to waste a store trip, this app is great. It gives alternatives, it gives options, it gives new ways to use leftovers. I have enjoyed itnfor a time now. I give it a 4 because sometimes things crop up in French only, but not obstructive or where you can't figure it out.

maybe I am using this super wrong but there are no recipes, and there is no way to say you have an ingredient. Just weather or not you always keep an ingredient on hand. It ran laggy but somewhat usable and there are parts that don't seem to be fully English. again maybe I was missing something but I will be looking for another app.

I really like this app. You made it so easy to look at the food you already have. And boom!!! You can make a meal. When you don't know or have little time to come up with something. This will be great for my son. he always says, Mom you can see what's in the cupboards and make something. well sometimes us mothers need another eye on what other meals to make. So Thank you so much, for this app.

There are fairly limited recipes (or seemed to be for me) and I was disappointed that it wasn't actually taking in to account what I have right now, just what I likely have. It made nothing easier for me as there are other anti food waste apps that actually account for what you actually have.Some of the descriptions/instructions are phrased oddly. The composition of the app looks nice, it's just not what it says it is. I don't really like the ad set up either, it interrupts what I'm doing.
