Lightweight, intuitive app. Friendly allows more interaction than other apps I've used (Tweetcaster, and Twidere, in particular). Friendly allows you to participate in polls from the app. One thing that needs fixing is that the typing box for posts and replies is often hidden behind the keyboard. It needs to dynamically move out of the way so you can see what you type.

DM issue** still not fixed?! Grrreat... ** referring to the fact that in DMs the keyboard covers the text entry box and one cannot see what one types! Major downer! Also: despite NOT granting the app access to the camera, it still creates weird "ghost images" in the gallery. Sometimes just one, sometimes dozens and dozens of "corrupted" images after just 30 minutes with this app. Unacceptable.

Rubbish app this is! I regret buying it now. Twitter Lite is much better, because it uses up much less storage space than this, works faster on all my phones, and it has a better lay-out than this does! Also, there is no tweet button on mine. How am l meant to tweet? I uninstalled it on my iOS devices, too. I didn't purchase it on iOS, thank God! This phone is Android 10. Stop conning people. A Twitter app which has no tweet button? Ridiculous! Your Facebook app is lousy, too!

Solid alternative app. Taking me longer to learn the interface. Tweetcaster was much easier to learn. I want this app to leave off from where i last viewed tweets and also to keep tweets in a timeline to where newest is the top most.

Can't set feed to be chronological, constantly changing back to some magical order like it thinks it knows me better than I know myself. Have it set to dark mode but starts in bright white for a second. So my experience is phone dark mode, FRIENDLY BRIGHT WHITE, friendly dark mode. Forcing topics to follow. Can't open links in Chrome. It has some special Chrome Tab but it's not the regular Chrome browser. I typically open links to read later. Overall it just tries to hard and fails.

Lovely to use Friendly for Twitter. My only issue is when i reply to a tweet, the keyboard covers the answer area and i can't see what i type.

Decent Twitter alternative. Takes time to get use to layout and not being able to see newest tweets without changing setting each time.

Can't see your own text when typing a reply, text is hidden behind keyboard & doesn't let you scroll window up. I've had the app for years but this only started about 6 weeks ago. Tried to contact developers a week ago but no reply. Also, the feed has started to jump as I scroll through then stop to press the like or retweet often, very often, the feed jumps up just at the moment of press and I end up opening the post below the button, this been happening for a similar amount of time. annoying

A very nice Twitter alternative but with one big drawback for me - replying to a tweet brings up the keyboard which completely covers the reply box so you can't see what you're typing and makes it unusable. Poor design. Why doesnt the reply box move up and out of the way?

Ok but has a few bugs. The main one it the keyboard hides the text box when retweeting with a comment.

requires following permissions on your android device.

approximate location (network-based)
Allows the app to get your approximate location. This location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

read the contents of your SD card
Allows the app to read the contents of your SD card.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

draw over other apps
Allows the app to draw on top of other applications or parts of the user interface. They may interfere with your use of the interface in any application, or change what you think you are seeing in other applications.

control vibration
Allows the app to control the vibrator.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

modify or delete the contents of your SD card

In-App billing
In-app Billing on Google Play provides a straightforward, simple interface for sending In-app Billing requests and managing In-app Billing transactions using Google Play.

receive data from Internet
Allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. Using this service will incur data usage. Malicious apps could cause excess data usage.
