Inefficient technical problem handling. I reported the problem via App->Help Center then someone replied to me via mail to use the Live Chat option to report the problem. 1. Why put the option to report the problem via Help Center if it's useless and you can only solve a problem via Live Chat. 2. Customer is already pissed and you would ask her to redo the whole process of reporting a problem for unknown reason?? 3. Live Chat option is not available in my app. App is latest android version


Quite a few reviews, nice. Mine will not be so nice - for some reason, I decided to use this app instead of calling the restaurant directly. We waited, and waited again... No joy. Will uninstall and advise all my friends to do the same. Later edit: Appreciate that dev team got back to me on the review, so I added another star. Still, I felt hungry and disappointed and I think I did use the chat and the outcome was "no food". Wasn't only an app issue, but also about relations with the partners.


The tagging location and food ordering features sucks big time. VERY FRUSTRATING. Example, after clicking the dishes and ready to checkout, a box jumps out saying the dishes are not available. Restarted phone several times but apparently, this is the app problem. This problem has persisted for more than a year. Buck up FP team!


Pinned location has improved. Editing my rating from 4-star to 3-star. Recent experience: placed an order, took a very loooong while to receive a notification that the restaurant has started preparing the food. Before i received the notification, there's no option to cancel and the Help Center was useless--like we have no one to chat with in order to confirm. You can only chat w/ your rider WHO WILL ONLY SEE YOUR MESSAGE AFTER PICKING UP THE FOOD. Maybe it's time i switch to Grab Food.


This will be the last I will ever use this app. Your performance has declined. It takes forever for a restaurant to receive an order and start preparing the meals. There isn't even a cancellation option. I had to wait 50 minutes before a restaurant confirmed my order. Only then did the cancellation option appear. Also, your riders do not respond to messages. Delivery fee may be cheap, but it's not worth waiting over an hour for a single order of coffee and pasta. Very disappointed. Goodbye.


App is not saving my addresses correctly. My orders end up getting delayed many times because my unit number is not displayed. Please fix it 15/12 update: My order is delayed and I wanted to tap on the Help Centre to get some clarity. Everything is in Thai! Yes I have checked my app settings and it is still at English - as it has been since Day 1. Is there a bug in the app?


I used to love Hipmenu thanks to the group order & intuitive interface. Since it changed to Foodpanda, it's so frustrating to place an order. The product descriptions are cut and when you click to read the whole description, it adds the product to cart. There's no way to read what it contains. Moreover, the app it's full of bugs. I don't recommand it.


"Sobrang mahal ko na yung app!!!" was what I was literally telling my friend just now, lol. I can't remember the last time I have been this impressed and completely satisfied with the UX factor of an app. IDK if it's because I had low expectations to begin with... perhaps - but that's beside the point. I love how the experience was just positively and inarguably seamless! My opinion of Food Panda wasn't particularly too high from several years ago. Now it's completely turned around!


I have lost my Password and Havent managed to get it back through the countless forgot password prompts. I cant even make a new account because I have my phone number attached to the account. There is not even a human I can approach in their system to talk about this issue. Everything is just faq links. Please help me on this. I like your service otherwise.


Useless app. Whenever the app has "promotions" for a restaurant, that restaurant will mysteriously disappear from my app, even when I search for it. This applies to restaurants that are normally in my district's range, yet they cannot be found when the promo is going on. Basically don't expect to use any promos foodpanda advertises. 10/10 clickbait, false advertising. Also delivery during promo periods get unreasonably long, had to wait 2.5 hours for milk tea with no compensation.


They bought HipMenu, a competing app that had better features and was easier to use, and deleted it. I tried using the app but it's a nightmare. The total price is always higher because of some unexplained taxes, I can't see restaurants that are close to me so I don't have to wait 2 hours for my order, the don't have group orders and they keep showing me the same restaurants. Also, a filter for restaurants with a minimum order would be very useful.


I was recommended this app by a friend and it certainly met my expectations. The orders arrive at reasonable times and sometimes even faster than expected. The drivers are also very courteous and bring sufficient/proper change. I once ordered food when there was rain that gradually grew heavier. My driver arrived on time nonetheless and had even messaged me his location and proximity when he was on the road. This service definitely has my support!


Poor description on Help Center. Wanted to look for ways to delete payment method and just state to go to My Payments to delete. Nothing stating bout need to "swipe left to delete". Took days finally able to realise its ACTUALLY NEED TO SWIPE! You update your app, you update the help center's description as well please.


I really wanted that this app would be good. But it's F-ing not! Now first of all, only two restaurants fit on the entire screen? Don't you think, it would be easier to look for something to eat, if you could see more restaurants at a time on the screen? Well, that is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that I can't order anything and that's because I can't make an account and I can't use my old account. So what's the purpose of this app?


Works well but I can see absolutely no way to save your favourite restaurants, seems like such a simple but useful feature why not? Also why can we not search for restaurants by using the map. Sometimes you know where a restaurant is but you don't know the name.


This app is really useful to save our time and extreamly useful for lazy people. I am just a bit dissapointed because I have ordered food from FoodPanda for 2 times and when I wanted to pay money to the rider they don't have change (small money). That's all. On tge other hand I would say that this app is super good.


The service is slow and the app is not working,whenever I fill up my cart and proceed towards ordering,there comes an 'unknown error' This has been happening since 1 week. Please solve this issue as soon as possible.


Nice app... It has been very helpful lately. But there is one thing i would to be added in UI. Please add an option for rating or feedback against the orders we place. It will surely make the app as well as the restaurants better. I'll give 5* when i see that option in the next update.


Quite reliable, good choice of restaurants, deliveries have always been on time. Overall a great experience. Three points: the delivery time estimate often keeps jumping between 3 - 7 minutes, back and forth. Second, I can't add a card or Google pay from the "my payment methods" section it seems to be read only. Third, I can't add Google pay on my Huawei P30 pro, it just doesn't accept it. Used to work on my old Xiaomi.


This is a big problem for me You should be able to find all pizza restaurants when you search pizza in search bar, not only the restaurants whose name has pizza written on it. You should be able to search by food name. also, there should be a discounted deals column for deals to find them easily intead of opening restaurants one by one


Don't why this apps keep asking me to update the apps. Even i play games apps they don't keep asking me to update the software so frequently. And one more thing is sometime due to network maybe this apps hang and make me facing issue to make my payment. Please improve your application and service to provide us customer better application..thanks


Bad customer service. Bad user experience. The pinned location is incorrect during my order even though i set it up correctly before ordering. "Help" Center didn't do anything to get the driver into the correct address. While explaining the issue, the support left the chat. Btw, you can order something that is out of your delivery area (you wont know this until the "help" center tells you) and they will just cancel because your address is out of delivery area. Very nice. Good job.


From past one week, even after updating the app, i get the error : unknown error please try again. Used to be a good service but customer support is as bad as good its name. No support is given in the app also.


Fast and easy to use! Deliveries are on time. 9/10 because they need to add a feature where the app would ask how much money do I have for the change. So far the app is user friendly and convenient though.


They finally fixed the address issue! Been using FoodPanda for a while now. I like it more as the delivery fees are more affordable and they have some of the restaurants that I want to order from. The only issue is the poor customer support who can't seem to understand English. I had given up on getting a debit charge returned from about two months ago as a lost cause.


Worst food ordering app. Full of glitches. You want to select something, it selects something else; it selects restaurants(falsely) before you finish typing the restaurant's name; doesn't have the group ordering function; gets stuck easily and crashes often. I miss hipenu


1 step forward, 10 steps back.... The new help menu is in Chinese, I've set the language on the app as English. I'd like to cancel my order - but can't do it, as idk how to navigate to "chat with us", without having to take screenshots and use Google translate.. Horrendous UX


The app is utterly useless. It will cancel your order 1 hour after you placed it and payed it. The tracker keeps updating till it shows that the order will arrive in 5 minutes after which it's cancelled. This happened multiple times per day without any good reason for it. The customer support is as bad as the app itself, they are unable to help or clarify the situation. The number of restauranta available gets lower and lower. Will try to find an alternative for this BS. Do no recommend!!


Terrible update. My address and payment is saved on your website and shows in website. I'm having to add the card for every order. The address shows but make me select the address again and again until I make a new one and add the same details again. Garbage update


It works well, but sometimes has a glitch. Also, sometimes cannot see the rider in real time... Riders is stuck or behind actual location. Finally, map locations of restaurants are not very useful... Maybe the update has a better version of this feature. But I love FoodPanda ^_^


it swallowed HipMenu and it didn.t keep any of its good features. The ordering process is difficult, the interface isn.t that intuitive to use and the range of restaurants got smaller (after assimilating HipMenu it could. ve just shifted all restaurant to the Foodpanda platform, which didn.t happen). What could.ve been something great, turned into a horrible crash! RIP HipMenu and all its awesome features..


The food was automatically cancelled by the restaurant, and that's not the thing that I'm upset or angry about... I never get any kinda notification for my food getting cancelled untill I open the app again... I must be informed, even if I'm offline (via sms) or at least give a push notification... otherwise, I was pleased by Foodpanda so many times... wouldn't give such rating, just got pissed off...


Before i like using the app because its very convenient for me. But starting yesterday and today the food mark as delivered but i havent received anything it happened to me 3 times now its very frustrating and its not convenient to me anymore tired of waiting the food !!!


Previously it was Good! But now its been more than a week i am not able to use it due to some kimd of error. Although i reinstalled it and its upto date but still it always shows some sort of error....


When you apply filters and then click on some restaurant, you can't go back to the filtered search, filters disappear and you have to keep opening the restaurants in new windows, to keep the page with the filtered search.


The UI is absolute ass. Search function is utterly useless - you search a restaurant and, if it's closed or they don't have it, they give you literally anything but. Interface is unintuitive, from the restaurants, to the menu, to the actual payment methods. Just no.


HipMenu was much above this. Why close hipMenu when you can just change the color of the application?!? This is so frustrating. Food Panda has a lot of bugs, and not the funny kind. If you do not pay close attention to your order and make the calculations yourself you risk getting scammed.


1. The app has a very poor and disorganised interface. No group order, restaurants close while you are placing the order, some restaurants are almost always unavailable for order. 2. ETA of deliveries changes unexpectedly. 3. Delivery very often late. 4. Delivererers sometimes do not come to the door or ask you to meet them halfway. It seems that foodpanda has a vast number of customers who are dissatisfied. Would kindly recommend to listen to them.


May i suggest that every menu has its corresponding picture beside so that it is easy for the customers to see and they already expected what they are going to order even without reading the details. It is advantage for those people who did not familiarize the menu of different cuisine. Many of the store did not put the package of that menu under the details.That is why others got confused. If it is possible then i will give 5 stars.


It's a great app to use. Day by day their service is becoming better, especially the voucher they provide to us though this app is really amazing. I always recommend everyone to use this app.


Restaurants info is outdated, eta is almost always double after placing the order compared to eta on the preview on restaurants list page. This app gets worse every day. No focus on customer experience. Not having group order after shutting down hip menu. Pick up feature doesn't work on all restaurants even they're listed as accepting pick up.


UPDATED: So far the app, functionally, is ok. Delivery Runners have been professional and friendly, however delivery time can be slow and cold food or questionable portions are common. I think Foodpanda could emphasize to the resturants and vendors to provide more accurate descriptions with pictures as we play "meal roulette" with only reviews to go by and more often then not there are portion/value-for-money concerns on orders.


Your app says "Unknown error appeared. Please try again later." when I opened the app for a few second. And the hipmenu is missing too and I can't rate the restaurant after I ordered. So please fix it ASAP.


Many features are essential but missing in App. 1st their is no rating or complaint option regarding food quality & delivery boy's attitude as some times delivery person miss conduct & so rude or deliver food some where else. 2nd their is no helpline where orders confirmation or complaint can be made if food not delivered. Sometimes delivery map vanished & user become blind to what to do now. Sometimes even no response on live chat.


I can't book the order. It's keep throwing an unknown error since I installed the latest update two days back. Don't know what's going on. Really poor experience.


This app is full of bugs and incorrect information and makes food ordering a hell. It even lacks some critical features like group orders. Since hipMenu closed I had to use this app and I've never had an order without problems (forgotten items, canceled orders after 1h of waiting, order items not showing up on checkout but still pay for them). Don't use this app there are better alternatives. We want HipMenu back!


Diverse and growing food options and choices in highly commercial areas like PJ, KL, Bangsar etc, but the availability of food options in less commercial areas within Klang Valley need to be worked on too. The layout in Filter options could also be improved by a better and more pleasant assortment of Offers, Cuisines and Attributes.


Discounts and promotions are nice but PLEASE improve delivery service. Its always late. Sometimes the app indicate 20 minutes waiting time but still didn't arrive and then need to wait another 20 minutes without being notified earlier. The tracking system are not really useful. Can be better if it's more specific


It's annoying when you're watching a video on youtube and suddenly you see foodpanda-app is dancing over the video😑 😪anyway.. services are quite good.. so i put an extra star. It's a 2 star rating..☺ otherwise i would give 1 star😏


I've been trying all day to order food through the app but all i get is "Unknown error. Please try again later" I even updated the app but the issue remains. I tried getting in touch with the live chat support but i got no response from them.


As going from hipMenu to foodpanda I can say that I am very disapointed. Many restaurants are not available anymore. The application loading time is very sloow(my opinion as an android developer). The restaurants that are featured are bad and expensive, and at some of them is not even clear what I order. For example I see a bill of 50lei(aprox 10 euros) when the only thing that I can select from it is fries: 5 lei @1 euro. And I can't see nothing else on the bill. Very bad experience.


For some reason when I placed my order and try to oder it it just said "unknown error occurred. Please try again later." And it wasn't the first and last time it happened It's really annoying please fix this.


I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone. Hipmenu's interface and ability to have group orders made it fairly superior. The automatic adding to cart on product tap is unintuitive and cumbersome, considering you can't remove from the cart as easily.


The app have improve a lot. I remembered using it a year ago (2018) vs now (2019), it is much more stable and user friendly in comparison.


Its a great app, very easy to use and straight forward. The only thing that i think needs to improve is the number of restaurants you have access to. That's all but overall great experience


The location system of this app is a disaster to use since for whatever reasons it will auto correct your house number which change the address to a totally different place, I would love to give better rating but please fix this problem.


Sometimes it cancels after a long time...that's bad...authrity should show the location to the rider that he can cancel it rapidly after watching the location....!!!!


The new update hides important information such as reviews of restaurants, delivery fee, address of restaurant etc. Before this update I would have rated 4/5 but this new update reeks of scam.


I Hate this app after all the advertizement in the TV it is not all like that First they you alot of questions and alot of things are even not available and the biggest falt ia that if you ask for the things of one restaurant they don't diliverd it for that restaurant but they gave the things of the 3rd class restaurant having 3rd class quality of food and the foodpanda delivery boys don't come the restaurant delivery boy come having the thrid quality food food panda my foot never ever install


So far it's doing good. Food is delivered on time, and help centre is doing a good job helping any issues I've faced. I would like to request the area that the app takes food from would be widen so that more food can be chosen. I know that some places are too far, but maybe can charge extra delivery fee for that? I am astonished on how bad this app is. The order doesn't have all the details the customer needs and the worst part is the group order. You would think after buying hipMenu they would adopt the features and simplicity that hipMenu had. Stay the same, foodpanda, don't adapt or evolve. No wonder pandas are extinct.


The app is user-friendly. The price are reasonable and there are many promotion. Sometimes you can even purchase the food lower than the actual price in the physical store(including the delivery fee).


Really, it sucks. We had an awesome app hipmeniu that got integrated with this whatever app. I mean the prices are not calculated correctly, no option to add payment methods and not even get me started on the design. #bringhipmeniuback


Didn't like the app. I've already wasted lots of time choosing my order knowing that it was useless because after filling up the form that is the only time that this app informed me that the said fast food does not deliver on my location. You better let your customer know the availability of delivery before letting them choose their order in that case, they will not waste their time like what happened to me.


I cannot place order through the app anymore. It gives the message of unexpected error. It's the same for past 4 days. I have reinstalled the app 3 times now but the error remains the same.


It was a good app... Until it wasn't. Taking an order and canceling it 45 minutes later? Wow, that's new. Thanks, but I'm still hungry... Even more hungry than 45 minutes ago. I would have gotten there on foot and eaten already... Thanks for nothing


This app is terrible to be honest, not friendly user at all, so much issue in filling up the delivery address and keep on error for my mobile number (invalid country code), no sample or reference for me to follow, this is suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


We need to add these features: 1. Copy messages. 2. Send pictures via camera. 3. Send pictures via gallery. Somehow, the location can deviate from the actual address, maybe it is not found in foodpanda's map.


There's a bug, app shows a deal notification and when you tap "order now", it says no result found and even fails to show that restaurant which has the deal. Secondly, there must be an option to add pictures and reviews to the order received, so that the delivery staff take care of the food carried.


Please add an option like live chat with the restaurant.. Some time when we receive parcel food was like ice cold and not looked fresh...hope you guys will do something about it.. Good luck..


Very useful app specially if you are too busy and tired to cook. The drivers are all kind and the delivery time is very fast. This app really helps me not to be hungry. Keep up the good work FoodPanda.


First time to use, needs other restaurants near my location to have wide option, not sure if that was a glitch but there was one restaurant with no delivery fee but costs a lot more with hidden additional fee


My experience of ordering food using foodpanda app is amazing. Always recieved my complete order on time. Once I recieved expired soft drinks which they replaced on request. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Thanks foodpanda for the quality services. Keep it up!


Always have trouble with the address, i thought, by updating it, i wont have to face the same problem. Yet, i still do. Plz do fix this.


Junk app....While placing order been getting the message "unknown error occured please try again " ... this has been happening for over a week...have shifted to careem now /uber eats


Why it's not working? The SMS code always show " code is incorrect"! How to contact the customer service? Email also no one reply me till today. Very bad!


Either bring hipmenu back, or fix up your app. The pin does not work to set the address correctly, pack orders do not function(can't pick multiple items included in the pack for some restaurants), group orders are basically inexistent.


Overall experience is good. But one thing needs to improve is to add an option where people can give review about the restaurant they used to order so it can help others. I once order from a cafe whose quality and taste was so bad that i never tasted that before due to lack of reviews about that cafe. Hope you done it so we can order freely.


At first it was good, but now it either "temporary unavailable " and they charge u extra and the menus are not even full alot of the content is missing.

its nice that this app lets me order food (and provides me a wider variety of choices, too) from the comfort of my home. but jfc, the UI is a f**** headache, i could write some mini case study about it if i wasnt lazy and had the experience to write one


The app is fine. The main problem is the reach of the restaurants. What's the point of giving adverts for restaurants that dont deliver to you. It's even more ridiculous when the restaurant will deliver to you if you call them directly but on food panda you will be told they don't deliver to you. The logic is stupid. Restaurants that are within reach simply state they dont deliver or are too far when that is not the case. It makes using the app pointless if you are limited to a few restaurants.


Updated my home location buy it shows the old one in map, support chat experience is too poor, while deeming a coupon it says maximum use exceeded but I never used that...


There's a glitch in estimated time and rider's location on map for a while now, nobody cares to fix these crucial features I guess.


The map has lots of lagging, the customer service is not that useful and the menu is few compared to Grab. The worst app i have ever seen, i don't if the problem is from the developers or the management. YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE!!!


There are many bugs in app. Referrals discount system didn't work when i refer and my friend downloaded the app. Many restaurants are not showing in my area but they deliver if i call them directly.

Vry responsive app. Needs option for immediate cancellation due to wrong address. Also, make sure that vendor's contact details are upto date and functional.


this app is very helpfull to order food but the problem i face is date the picture given on the display of hotel or food supplier is not same or related to actual product it may differ and secondly please include picture of all food items listed in each hotel menu.

Even the food service ia great but the refund process should be more efficient and form part of the app itself rather than using email. I cannot for sure know if the money reimbursed or not.


I wanted to make a complain. The droplist Help Ctr keep showing Thai language whereby my setting is English. Log out and log in still same.

Compared to hipmenu, this app is extremly poor. Very bad experience, many bugs, bad ux and ui, never get the full details of orders and always the total is bigger for no explication, no group order. I'll never gonna use this app again.


Why is the help centre language not in English? Have check my setting and confirmed it's English but still a foreign language on the help centre.
