Hi All. I hail from the BC era and approached the download of the FNB App with some trepidation, particularly after reading some of the reviews! Well, to my surprise, the download went very smoothly and the only hiccup I had was the 'mug shot' facial recognition part.as I had to remove my glasses and could not see the screen properly!!! I downloaded the app on a new phone uncluttered with a whole pile of other apps and that is possibly why it went so smoothly plus my internet connection was not cluttered with many other apps wanting to update at the same time. That's my theory anyway. There seems to be so many reasons why things may go wrong which may not be the fault of the app itself. The age of the phone used, the use of the internet connection by other apps at the same time, the speed of the connection etc. Anyway, these are my thoughts and time will tell in the long run. I gave the app a trial run and everything went smoothly. Let's hope it stays that way!

The app is too slow for a banking app. Takes ages to log in and keeps saying unable to connect. Tap a button, loads fir a few minutes then does nothing. Tap it again then it executes the function. It's really frustrating. Simple transactions or updates take well over 5 minutes. FNB could take a lesson from NEDBANK on this one. Now I can't log in anymore.

There is always something to complain about. This app is horrible compared to what someone might think FNB stands for. It feels tacky and outdated and too bombarded with features and functions, I suggest trim it down and let certain functions remain on the website. Also, Global payments almost never work on the app, always have to go through the website. I can't even access the website because it says I have a linked app. I consider myself a techy and the UX of this app is missing a lot of marks

I don't understand the pointless loading, for everything I do. Forcing me to do everything twice. Whatever button I press it would load for about 30 seconds then and does nothing. Then I have to press the button a second time for it to complete the action. Luckly the latest update fixed that but i still have to do everything twice instead of loading a toast pops "unable to connect" which I prefer compared to the loading it's faster. Overall it's a good app

Hi everyone, the problem with the app glitching is very simple. The fix for it is as follow: 1. Go into your phone settings and remove your fingerprints. 2. Go into the app and log in with you password. 3. On the FNB app disable biometric authentication and then enable it again. 4. Exit the FNB app. 5. Go back into your phone settings and register you fingerprints again. 6. The problem should be fixed.

I have been using this app for a long time. Last week it started giving me meesages that i must update it. Been ignoring the mesaage till today that am nt evn able to log in and do my things. Wanted to buy my electric and pay my dish am far away from shops. I have been deleting some space to allow it to install a new update but still. What must i do now

Since the last update, I cannot access the app at all. Once I select the login button, it goes to the page where I need to log in either with my password or biometrics, however it does not allow me to enter my password or use biometrics as the screen just keeps on flickering and it does not respond at all. I did clear data and cache but it does not help. I cannot take screenshots either as screenshots does not capture the flickering on screen. Never had an issue like this with the app before.

I am experiencing the same issue as another user. The screen keeps flickering and is not allowing me to enter my login details or fingerprint scan. Very frustrating as I'm overseas and need to transact for family back home. Disappointed with FNB on this issue

Useless biometric logic after the latest update. Reported it and still waiting, days later. Huawei Mate 20 Pro. App has worked flawlessly until now. Now useless until the error is resolved. Glitching/ restarting/ refreshing itself on the login screen.

I have been using the fnb app since launch. And it has had its ups and downs.... But since the update of 23/04/2021 I cannot login... The screen is flickering and will joy login. Therefore the rating is a 1 star.
