It took me my second playthrough to really dig what this game was trying to get across. But the way they tell the story and the interactions within it are charming and brought a smile to my face. I wish I would've played this when I had my heart broken earlier this year. But I probably wouldn't understand it. I hope it helps many others out there.

  2. Abhishek Amberkar-avatar

    Abhishek Amberkar

This is by far the best game I have ever played... Illustrations, music, story and emotions.. everything is beautiful... I couldn't help but notice Ganesha Idol appearing twice in the game. That was a surprise :). You guys got me hooked with Gorogoa and now this. Keep up the good work.

  3. April Dehm-avatar

This is a wonderfully done game! Beautiful art/music. Unique storytelling. My only complaint is the price for such a short game. I hate to complain about price, and i understand that they are a team so they have to make sure they can pay everyone and the platform used... But this game is *maybe* an hour, but really you can play it in less (if you are speeding through, but dont do that!).

  4. Barnaby McArthur-avatar

    Barnaby McArthur

Short, sweet and simple storytelling told with a beautiful use of game mechanics to engage and make the player feel the highs and lows of life and relationships. I would love to see more of this time of story telling and gaming experience. Also anyone can play this game, and it's a great way to introduce those to the power of gaming and what it can do.

  5. Marsha Elrod-avatar

This is not a game or puzzle of any type, but a story, not unlike a graphic book, only with no words. I had just finished Goragoa, an astounding game by Annapurna, and bought this expecting more of the same. Yes, it's sweet, but so not worth paying for. I'd like a refund but already finished it ~ totally unsatisfying.

  6. Ahmad Saad-avatar

A nice story capped off in an incredibly stylistic & eye-catching presentation & creative integration of simple gameplay mechanics into the overall experience. While this simplicity may turn off whoever's looking for a "game", it's short runtime & cheap price make it a recommendable experience to anyone.

  7. Yuannan Lin-avatar

Absolutely beautiful game, not very long but the journey it will take you on is simply breath taking. Not many games have I enjoyed in a while like this, brings back memories that I've never even had. Truly a masterpiece. The simple visual style along with the music makes for a very simple yet deeply moving and complex story. Support a small developer because games like this is what makes gaming great. Amazing.

  8. Wil Wilcock-avatar

Breathtaking. This game is such an incredible experience and well worth your 3 dollars. The art is wonderful, the music is amazing, and although short, takes you through so many emotions in such a small amount of time. I cannot give this game enough stars, please play it!

  9. susan mcateer-avatar

Wow. All I can say is wow. I can count on one hand just how many pieces of media have affected me the way Florence has. I can honestly say that I could, and probably will, reccomend this game to anyone I know. For the best experience, I reccomend taking 1 chapter per day. Thanks for making such a great game.

  10. Shantelle Soeder-avatar

    Shantelle Soeder

A stunning game. Worth the $$$ and such a beautiful concept and just the story the game tells. I highly recommend this game, I'm so glad I discovered this game. Deserves a lot more recognition!!!

  11. William Milhans-avatar

    William Milhans

Wonderful - A game that that uses simple mechanics to bring complex, buried feelings to the surface; this will resonate with anyone who's been in a relationship, and maybe even give some clarity and hope. Lord knows it did for me! Thanks so much to Annapurna and Mountain for making it! And thanks to Abby Russel of Giant Bomb, who championed this game during their 2018 Game of the Year talks - without her I never would have found it :3

  12. Trevor Morgan-avatar

Incredibly short game, completed the whole thing in well under an hour. The interaction with the story is minimal and repetitive and I feel I wasted my money here. The story is basic, focusing on a couple who meet and then split up, and you have no choices in the outcome. I'm amazed how this has such a good rating on the app store!!

  13. Emmanuel Tsapekis-avatar

    Emmanuel Tsapekis

Great short experience that makes you feel. By no means is this meant to be a difficult game or a puzzle game (even though some parts are literal puzzles). It's a simple game whose gameplay is meant to make you feel what Florence, the protagonist, feels. And it does that very well throughout the game.

  14. Alexis Martinez-avatar

    Alexis Martinez

This game is amazing. The storyline is bit a straight forward but the execution leaves a lasting impact on the player. The game has a unique gameplay and a fantastic soundtrack. I'd recommend it to everyone.

  15. Michael Wolf-avatar

Florence is a deeply emotional experience like no other, and an outstanding example of games as an artform. I will never forget this experience, and I want all the developers to know how much this game means to me. Nothing has ever moved me this deeply, made me feel this vulnerable, or filled me with so much hope. I was moved to tears every step of the way. Florence has helped me move past feelings I didn't even realize I still clung to. It helped me move on, and inspired me to follow my art.

  16. David Ibe-avatar

Wow... The game is just wow. Really that's all I can say because it's hard to find words to describe how awesome it is. The music, the artstyle, the narrative, the atmosphere is really a work of art. Me likey, me likey a lot. Here are some extra stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  17. Hayley Pryor-avatar

The art is simple and beautiful, the music is gorgeous and tells the story well. Every aspect of this game makes sense and helps you connect with Florence. I feel warm and fuzzy and happy after finishing this game. Thank you so much for putting it out into the world

  18. James Murray-avatar

An absolutely stunning game. This deserves 5 stars on the art and music alone never mind the clever gameplay and charming story. You are missing out if you haven't played this yet!

  19. Luqman Rahardjo-avatar

    Luqman Rahardjo

Great little game. Reminds us that sometimes taking a leap might hurt when you fall. But a leap is still a step forward from standing still, and who knows, you might end up somewhere you've never imagined possible before.

  20. André Menezes Resende-avatar

    André Menezes Resende

this game is amazing. Short, fun and outstanding use of the game mechanics no tell a beautiful story. congrats to the developers! one of the best mobile games out there!

  21. James L-avatar

Quite a unique experience altogether. I had purchased this on a friends suggestion a year ago but never opened it until yesterday and unfortunately I finished it now. I want to give it less stars for the weak ending and brevity of this sweet slice of life but i can't do that to a fresh kind of app such as this. The developers deserve every star, despite my own dissatisfactions on the story. I am not sure if there are other games like this but it should be its own genre called interactive comic.

  22. Aishwarya Khoche-avatar

    Aishwarya Khoche

This game is too good. I felt so emotional going through the journey. I'm so glad I got to experience this. I am writing this to appreciate all the artists who worked on this. This is inspiring. Thank you for making this!

  23. Jeffery Anders-avatar

Florence is the only mobile game to make me cry. I just wish it was longer, but I wouldn't really consider that a negative. Great games should leave the player wanting more.

  24. Kyle Adkins-avatar

One of the best games I've seen that uses each element to have you actually feel the loss, anger, happiness, and joy of each moment. This is beyond beautiful and should be required Game Dev discussion.

  25. Ken Krumsee-avatar

I couldn't consider this a game. There is basically no gameplay. This is closer to an hour long semi interactive story. Might be interesting to some and the story was alright but not at all for me.

  26. Honey Tribe Studios-avatar

    Honey Tribe Studios

Great design and an interesting way of storytelling. Enjoyed this with my partner. (She liked the ending but I didn't!)

  27. Dav Mc-avatar

A beautiful example of how Visual Novels/Interactive Comics could be if removed from conventions, expectations etc. Whilst the gameplay may seem like mundane busy-work or thrown in mini games from the outside, actually playing it feels kinetic; linked to the themes of the story being experienced. Conversations are less about what's being said but how it 'feels' to have them. The game overall may leave much to be desired but it should stand as a blueprint for future 2D interactive storytelling.

  28. Sylvain Murphy-avatar

Artwork reminded me of the French illustrator, Jean-Jacques Sempé, which is why I purchased the app. Nice simple storytelling. Can I change the outcome of the story? Hmm..

  29. Matthew Riddett-avatar

    Matthew Riddett

Wow. This is what mobile games can be. What a fantastic achievement if art, sound, music, game design and storytelling. Brilliant!

  30. Akshat Sharma-avatar

Story games have always been my oldest fav. For the longest time my fav was LiS. (Life is strange, not sponsored but check it out). But this game....this game comes at par. The storyline is soooo small, it's barely worth half hour of playtime, but it leaves you thunderstruck. It's well designed, the Artis done well, and the controls are simple, and the story is JUST SOOO GOOD!. I heard a lot about this game and honestly it lived up to those recommendations. 100/10 would recommend to everyone.

  31. Sarah Stein-avatar

Such a nice game. The beautiful artwork and characters, together with the gentle pace at which the story unfolded, had my heart racing; reminding me of young love. Though there was emotional resolution to some degree, the game left me hungry for more and i was (or am for the future) hoping the player is left with more choices to directly/indirectly influence the story development or overall outcome (e.g. in this case i would have loved to see a reconnection with Karish or more hard puzzles).

  32. Smgzilla-avatar

A beautiful little story about a woman's first love that is rather short but very sweet. The music is absolutely gorgeous throughout and the use of the mini games to control the various vignettes keeps the player involved in clever ways. I enjoyed every minute of the thirty or so it takes to finish the game, it was lovely.

  33. Rowan Copeland-avatar

I don't think I've ever had something as beautiful as this on my screen before. The art was unique and stood out every scene. The music was so good im now going to go listen to all of it again. The gameplay is simple, but excellent. I was amazed how they were able to tell such a good story with no dialogue. Buy this game now.

  34. kealkeal-avatar

You can play this interactive story all the way through in one hour. I got really teary-eyed a few times. There's some really great moments in the story. What a great experience, worth the purchase. Will play again now and then, and it's the kind of thing you ask someone to play so you can watch them be moved and delighted by it. A masterpiece.

  35. Thomas Mortimer-avatar

    Thomas Mortimer

Beautiful game, well worth the money. It's a little short, but the story and animations are crafted so well, you just shouldn't miss it

  36. Leroy Zhu-avatar

Decided to get it because it was highly recommended by a friend. I'm writing the review after playing the game, it's very short, but leaves a lasting impression with its amazing story and soundtrack.

  37. Jiayuan Feng-avatar

Minimal words but flawless story telling. The emotions in each scene are relayed through to me through colour, music and the puzzles.

  38. Geneva Comer-avatar

I loved this game! So sweet and so realistic. It definitely made me cry at least once. Highly recommend

A short and sweet interactive experience. I enjoyed every moment during my time with this type of story-driven mobile game.

  41. Marcus Møller-avatar

This is well worth the cost. Great music, story and first of all it brings out the feels

  42. Aishwarya Rekha-avatar

    Aishwarya Rekha

A beautiful story with beautiful graphics :) A thank you to the creators! Thoughtful interactive games with heart melting music.

  43. Paulina Durán-avatar

Powering a story is the best gift you can give to the player :) I loved the narrative, the subtleties in the elements that gradually change the mood (pieces eventually fit in :)) and the music. You guys did an amazing job and I hope we get to see more of this studio :)

  44. Uhya Wahyu-avatar

*SPOILER ALERT* The puzzles that contain in this game are not really much. The story is kinda short. And it has sad ending. But what i love here is the design that minimalist and beautiful.

  45. Some Metal Chick S.-avatar

    Some Metal Chick S.

An absolutely beautiful game/story. Short, but meaningful and deep. The way the developers narrated the story is brilliant. The artwork, music, and even the controls evoked specific emotions based on the story, which was genius. I loved it.

  46. John McKnight-avatar

This is a very sweet, interactive story. I was really impressed by how the simple game play drew me in care about to the characters, and became recurring motifs, developing the story. Very thoughtfully made, lovely animation and great music. Set aside 45 mins to immerse yourself in one go 😊

  47. Mitch Baker-avatar

Wonderful narrative experience that brings video game style mechanics to a simple story of a relationship. Lovely, sad, happy, and goosebump-inducing.

  48. Alex Levstein-avatar

Beautiful, short, and sweet. Wished it was a little longer because it's fantastic storytelling.

  49. Cee Parsons-avatar

It's a short experience but a really really made one. The way the gameplay supports the story is incredible. And the dialogueless story itself is heartfelt and well written. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a short and emotional experience!

  50. Ravi Patel-avatar

I can't even begin to explain how beautiful and timeless this experience is. It actually had me pausing and thinking on every panel... This is truly outstanding human story telling. Intuitive, modern, classical story telling. Bravo. Mesmirising

  51. Uri Katsir-avatar

I love it its a great game the game is amazing the story the animation the pictures. I have no words but amazing.

  52. Peter Wright-avatar

This is a wonderfully creative wee story. It's so emotional and clever. It's short and probably has no replayability, but that doesn't matter; think of it as an interactive book. You'd pay more for a book and this is better than many of the books I've read this year.

  53. David Bilger-avatar

Very well made. No spoilers, but I think the ending is a bit too abrupt. It explores themes at the beginning and winds down quickly. Makes it a bit less impactful imo. Still, an amazing experience. Highly recommend

  54. Michelle Pusari-avatar

    Michelle Pusari

Too expensive for what it is. Its more of a story than a game. A beautiful story just not what I thought i bought.

  55. Camilla Camatta-avatar

    Camilla Camatta

Really beautiful, is awesome the way the creators passed the message through simple mechanics. The only problem is that it's too short and doesn't have multiple endings. Loved the game anyway, great work!

  56. Ebola Senpai-avatar

It's a good game about love the music is good but the ending is disappointing and after finishing the game I feel like it's worthless buying this game

  57. M Davis-avatar

Beautiful style, touching story, and simple gameplay. If you've been in a relationship before you may be able to relate to this game. It's super short (30 Orr so mins) which I think is a good thing.

  58. Annie VM-avatar

Remarkable in its ability to tell a touching, powerful story with almost no words and simple interactions. Powerful, poetic, relatable, and lovely to look at and listen to. This is what an exceptional game is, and the way it uses the tactile nature of the mobile platform is the most incentive I've yet seen. Get this game, and enjoy it (although maybe not in public if you get emotional easily - I don't and even I nearly started crying on the bus!)

  59. jonnanino-avatar

This made me feel things. Wonderful storytelling, excellent sound and music design, wonderfully playful art. Thank you so much for this.

  60. Kateřina Havlová-avatar

    Kateřina Havlová

This game made me remember my first love. It's very true and emotional. Also very beautiful.

  61. Emily Holmes-avatar

It's very sweet, but it only takes about 10-15 mins to finish and shouldn't be classed as a puzzle game. I do really like the animation style and there's an innovative idea behind it, but I think the mechanics/ intricacies of the story need to be taken a bit further? Worth the money and entertaining, but not not long or deep enough to be engaging in the same way as other more traditional story based games, webtoons, or novels.

  62. Cory Bonazzo-avatar

The way the gameplay elements were implemented really helped to drive the story home emotionally. I've never reviewed an app before, but after playing through this wonderful experience that the developers crafted, I felt that I needed to do my part in promoting this criminally underplayed game. Some people expects apps to be free, but few seem to think about the time and the love that people put into creating them. For less money than buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks, you'll receive an experience that will stick with you for a very long time. Support this developer. Support the things that you love. Otherwise the people who make them might not be able to afford to make more, and who knows what we'd be robbing the world of.

  63. Bob Bob-avatar

A fantastic piece of interactive storytelling that, clearly, a LOT of contextual thought and design went into. Excellent use of color, SUPERB use of something as simple as word balloons to convey a ton of emotion and situational narration. If I spent this much on a comic book with the same story and art, which is about right for the price, I'd consider it to be one of the better comics I own. In the format it's in, however, this far transcends what the conventional graphic novel could. I freaking love this.

  64. Patrick Williams-avatar

    Patrick Williams

This game is a beautiful, albeit short game. The quality of Florence is not something I'm accustomed to in a mobile game. The graphics are gorgeous and stylized, and the music is excellent. While the gameplay is fairly simple, the engaging, human story within more than makes up for it. There are no loot boxes, no timers, no energy meter, just a solid story that most people can relate to. While the game is a bit short, it doesn't overstay its welcome. It left me wanting more games in the vein of Florence. Florence shows just how much potential for engaging storytelling exists in the mobile market. I hope to see other developers follow in the footsteps of Annapurna Interactive and push the boundaries of mobile games.

  65. Stijn van Wakeren-avatar

    Stijn van Wakeren

Simply wonderful! Beautiful story, art and music. It uses interactivity to allow a kind of connection to the story you wouldn't get any other way.

  66. Amy Butler-avatar

Some of the best storytelling I've ever seen in a game. Every bit of gameplay is used ever so well and never wasted when telling its story. Truly moving and relatable, and brought tears to my eyes.

  67. Abhishek Sam-avatar

Absolutely beautiful. One of the simplest, yet touching stories ever told on a digital device such as this. Each action meant something in this game. And the music was spectacular, to boot. Incredible.

  68. Clinton Walsh-avatar

Fantastic short story. Shining example of how to use interaction to get story elements across.

  69. Devin Sharp-avatar

I've never left a review for any game I've played... but this simple little game made me feel things that I didnt think were even possible with a phone game. absolutely beautiful. the music, art, the way they convey things with such simplicity. the puzzle piece conversations that get simpler the more you get to know someone, showing how much easier it is to talk to someone the more time you spend with them. it's such a simple concept, but I can only describe it with 2 words.... pure art. ❤

  70. Danny Caggiano-avatar

Absolutely beautiful. This is a wonderful story, told in a really interesting and impactful way. It's kind of surprising just how attached you get to the characters, even though there's hardly any dialogue (or gameplay for that matter). If you are a fan of unconventional storytelling, and are looking for a cute and quick little love story, please consider picking this up.

  71. Babatunde Ebunola-avatar

What an amazing game. I'm not a big mobile gamer, but it's a space that amazing stories can be told, and Florence is one of those stories. It's a story of self realization that we can all related to and one that everyone should experience.

  72. J C-avatar

An amazing game, with a relatable story and an outstanding soundtrack! Definitely worth the price; can't wait to see what other games these guys make!

  73. Daniel Wong-avatar

A wonderful story game. You can treat it as an interactive short film.

  74. Jonathan Zeng-avatar

Doesn't seem to work on my new Pixel 3a XL! Downloaded the game, when I start it the Please listen with headphones screen appears, except in (Arabic?) and never progresses.

  75. Alise19-avatar

This game was lovely. 1.The narritive was thoughtful and human. I got teary eyed a couple of times 2. Most of the game play was intuitive and added to the story narritive. 3. The music absolutely helped tell the story. 4. The graphics we're charming but also forward thinking in parts I don't play mobile games, I'm trying to expand my horizons. I hope this developer does more, and I will gladly keep playing them.

  76. Chris Lair-avatar

A short but meaningful game. The art and music of this game are just beautiful. I would consider this game more as an experience, than a game per se, although I think it's brilliant the gameplay mechanics change according to Florence's emotions. You can clearly infer how the protagonist is feeling through some interactions with other characters. Throughout the game you make some choices, so I would have liked those decisions impacted more in the development of the plot. Completely recomendable.

  77. Samantha Marie-avatar

I never pay for mobile games, and only considered this one because I saw that it was up for awards, and now I know, rightfully so. A common complaint among the bad reviews seems to be the length of the game, although I don't see that as an issue because, why add more to a story when the story can be completed within such a length, and effectively. I knew from the very first moment that I booted up the game, with a combination of the art, music, and controls, that I was hooked and whatever this game was going to put at me was going to be worthwhile. That first impression did not fail me.

  78. Lily W-avatar

Cute little game! Short, but sweet, and the controls are intuitive. Love the narrative-free style. Illustrations are gorgeous. Only comment is that, because the game is so short and I have little phone space, I uninstalled it after playing and I think the short amount of time installed triggered Google to process a refund... Easily fixed by buying it again as I want to support the developer, but I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for Google sending me an email about it.

  79. Nicole LastnameHere-avatar

I love the way that game mechanics, animation, and graphic novels can be combined together like this to create a story that is really touching. The details are really what does it. The little things you interact with, the game elements, that make this story more visceral. Yet it's not always in a straightforward way. You aren't controlling a character. You're just there to see a part of her life... To feel a part of her life. It's superbly well done. I loved it.

  80. Cory-avatar

A beautiful game with five star sound design. Highly recommend if you want a short game to play through that will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions.

  81. Jose-avatar

Such a beautiful, sweet, honest game about relationships and inspiration. I loved this game.

  82. Ignacio Vargas-avatar

This game is truly a piece of art. So much thought and effort went into this game and you can really tell. The music and the dinamic way it's implemented is amazing. The visuals are truly beatiful and heartwarming. If you want an idea of the type of great design that went into this game I'm gonna give you an irrelevant minor spoiler: when you first talking to someone you gotta do a little puzzle in the shape of a dialogue box and as you talk to that person the puzzle becomes easier and easier.

  83. Dagneo-avatar

This is a visual novel/interactive comic, and it is gorgeously made with stunning storytelling. The creative choices made in how to depict Florence and her world through the "game" mechanics is wonderful. The story is short, simple, and relatable, but to me the main charm of the game is the emotional journey Florence goes through. The game mechanics elevates this and is an integral part of the storytelling, and alongside the beautiful music it allows the viewer an emotional peek into Florence's mind. Personally, this is what I want the future of comics to be. I absolutely loved it.

  84. Walter Woods-avatar

Florence is a beautiful game! Not just the art style (which is wonderful) or the music (which I love)... Florence takes full advantage of mobile devices to tell a story. The gameplay is just so well designed! I do wish the story had a slightly less abrupt ending, but the whole thing is so charming it's hard to complain!

  85. Frederik Dinsen-avatar

This has instantly become my favourite mobile game of all time. The way it uses the gameplay to give us an understanding of how the characters feel, change and develop is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Even though it is very short, it is definitely worth the price! In fact, the shortness allows it to hit hard emotionally without outstaying its welcome. And the art is adorably beautiful. I'm not only going to recommend this to my friends, I'm going to buy it for the ones who won't.

  86. Meg-avatar

If you have $3 and 50 minutes to spend enjoying a peice of art, play Florence. It is effectively the most beautiful game I've ever seen attempted on a mobile phone and it takes advantage of every part of the medium. Every interaction makes you an active participant in the story and the emotional payoff even more powerful. I cannot stress this enough, play. this. game.

This was a beautiful story and amazing gameplay. I bawled like a baby at certain parts cause I've felt the feelings shown in the story. 10/10 was worth the money

A beautiful experience! Lovely art, and the perfect length! Recently re-downloaded after only a few months so I could replay it on my new phone.

Incredibly smart; a very, very clever game that doesn't put a foot wrong for a second. Everybody should play this.

This artful bite-sized game played more than a few chords on my heart strings. The exceptional use of visual metaphor meeting game design made following the story very compelling. The story is simple, but the mechanics, art, and music bring you in and make you feel like the relationship is your own. All I wanted was more Florence.

I honestly play no mobile games at all and have never really taken them seriously until now. After being recommended this by a podcast I listen to I have to say I'm very much taken a back. Short but eloquent, this games journey is beautiful and we'll paced never dragging on to long. Can be very helpful for those going through a hard time also. Worth the price of admission and I only hope more games like this are made in the future.

This is an adorable and sharp portrayal of the arc of a relationship. As a wordless, interactive, comic-book style narrative, it utilizes a number of extremely brilliant conceptual design elements to tell the story of a young couple. This is a short, powerful game full of incredible art and clever game design. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic game, one of the few that proves mobile doesn't have to be a heap of gacha and microtransaction trash. Beautifully done artwork and music with a story that is wonderfully told and deeply human. Loved all the small details (my favorite is the dialogue bubbles that get easier and easier to solve as the characters get more comfortable with each other). This is a must play, one of the best if the year!

Exceptional Interative Graphic Novel Game. I loved every part of this game, the story, gameplay, music, animation and graphic. This game is just so different to all other game I've played. Lots of Unique little interative game mechanisms. The graphic style is clean and cute, animation flesh outs the liveliness in characters, the intricate pieces of music binds you through the emotional rollercoaster. Although the gameplay could be bit longer. Overall Florence was a great experience.

This game is absolutely a must play. It's sweet and adorable and has a lot of fresh ideas on how interaction can work with narrative to engage the player. Seriously the dialog system is pure genius. If you're into games or game development, you have to play this game for the ideas it brings to the table. If you're not into games at all, well this game isn't like other games. You might still like it.

While the main story of the game isn't anything special, the moment to moment rawness of emotions and how powerful even simple actions can feel elevates this game to new levels. I love how it explores relationships and life in general. The artwork is beautiful. I loved how Melbourne was depicted here. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic and one that I will be listening to for a long time. 10/10 Would recommend! P.S. I live in Melbourne and I hope I can meet the developers once ^~^

Good story, told with clever gameplay design. I wouldn't call this a game, more like interactive short novel. Still loved every second of playing!

The presentation was absolutely the best part and has earned all the stars I give. the art style, music, and gameplay was fun. But the storyline was cliche, uninteresting, and had no personality. None of the characters felt human. Stuff happened to Florence, whether negative or positive. Meh. The sappy unearned ending left me annoyed rather than happy for Florence. It never felt she earned her success or happiness. I hope the next game gives a more realistic, and character driven story.

This may be my first ever Google play review and I've been an Android user since the very start. I felt compelled to write a short review for the beautiful, short video game. The earliest I remember the "can games be art?" argument when Flower and Journey release on PS3. This game is further proof that games can be art. Its the most inventive visual novel I've ever played and it barely has any words! Its worthy of every last bit of praised that's been heaped upon it.

Downloaded this game before it was officially released and held off until a few weeks ago. Like many, i've laughed, cried and smiled throughout. It was short and simple. I would definitely recommend paying for this game. What made me love it is the little to no dialogue that was able to make me form a strong emotional connection to the storyline.
