fish trace – the fishing journal for modern anglers A logbook is a powerful tool for anglers to record catches including additional information, to draw out conclusions about the behavior of fishes. Based on this we built the app, record catches fast with automated data such as weather and the GPS location. Fish trace also works perfectly offline with the restriction that the weather data cannot be determined automatically. Additional Information Now you can easily record all the important statistics about your catch. The following data can be registered on a per fish basis: • Type of fish and number of fishes • Length and weight • Body of water • Water depth and temperature (optional) • Weather conditions (automated, optional) • GPS Position (automated, optional) • Picture (optional) • Technique (optional) • Comments (optional, e.g. bait, equipment) Users can always search through registered fish and view details about the catch. With a single click, selected fish can be uploaded to www.joukker.net, shared with other fishermen and entered into competitions. The app is simplified and personalized with the fisherman’s name (nickname), the bodies of water, the most common types of fish and user photos. When checking the statistics, it changes the lengths and weights(imperial system)of my logged catches. It still seems to work if I don't go to the statistics, but it makes this great function useless. If I didn't have all of my fish located on a notepad somewhere else, I would have lost all my fish data. I still like the app, it's nice to have location, lengths, weights, date, comments, picture + more all in one place.

Nice basic app to quickly be able to add a fish without all the hoopla of creating a "Trip" every time I go fishing. I catch a fish, I add it in...simple. Keeping it quick and simple makes me more likely to keep adding my catches. I initially had an issue with the map not coming up correctly in the user interface, and they jumped in and fixed it right away. Awesome!

Been using fish trace for years, tried others. Very happy with it. I split my catch up into days on fish trace ( as I might go out for a few days). Great to record your memories of the trip. I wanted it especially for moon phase to determine the better times for me to fish. Maybe another option could be rising/falling tide in stats. Keep it up.

As mentioned, useful app, just 2 small items, when I add photo (and save) to setting screen it loads but when I go back its gone, and could you add float fishing to the methods please. Thanks. EDIT... Thanks for the rapid response, sorted now, my fault, photo I used was on the SD card, moved to internal all ok now, thanks 5*.
