See the help page for how to trigger the special match while using the "MAX Stats" option.

Depending on the terrain and timing of the action, the buggy, submarines, airships, and other modes of transportation may cease to move when the player embarks or disembarks. Currently, the only fix is to restart the game from a data file saved before the bug occurred. We recommend saving frequently and/or utilizing multiple save files. This bug occurs most often when players embark or disembark while extremely close to the terrain, as well as during time-sensitive activities for events.

Please note that the game will not save automatically when escaping from a battle on the world map, even if the Auto Save function is set to the ON setting.

Ok final update. All stars this game is perfect. If you read you have to have a updated android for the game to work properly. In my case I had to go through my settings on my tablet and updated my android. On my Samsung everything worked perfectly and I was able to save to the cloud. Right now I have no complaints. If you have a complaint it's most likely your device. Yet the only thing is now is the cloud save does not work...this is the 3rd time it seems i have to start over. And after 52hrs

I thought everyone was lying about the motorcycle battle scene going too fast. It literally goes like 3x the speed of the original. I beat it, but just barely. They really need to fix that. And seriously, no auto battle? No cursor memory, from battle to battle?

Cloud save is broken, and even though I paid for this app on my second android handheld it doesn't show up in my owned apps, even though it shows in my recent purchase history. If they expect me to pay an additional 15 dollars to play it on my second device, they must be suffering from mako poisoning. Don't buy this game.

The original FF VII on the PSX is an amazing game. The port to Android has been done adequately. However, controls could have been done slightly better and the game does appear to have a few minor bugs. I found that the motorcycle mini-game was unplayable, because of the absurd speed. Any other glitches or bugs are not noteworthy. At least, while running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.

This game, Castlevania: Symphony of the night, and Ogrebattle 64 are my childhood gems. This port is great. Integration of this game to mobile is flawless and didn't take away from the original at all. I'm also VERY grateful that I can use a controller. The only hiccup in my opinion, is I wish it had 2x speed. I've beat it so many times back in the day that I replay it now for the story and it already has soooo much dialog lmao. Thank you Square Enix for decades of amazing stories.

Love It. Use to play this back in the day on PlayStation. Didn't have any problems playing on Android mobile, Xiaomi Redmi note 8t. Actually was very smooth performance and very minimal battery drain. I personally did not mind the onscreen controls layout (read some folks didn't like). Chocobos ftw!

Update the damn game! To many bugs, this game was released around the time of Android 7. Phones are now running Android 11, get with the times! I regret buying this headache! Also your cloud save and restore function is totally garbage! Fix it! This classic demands the attention, give it the love it deserves!

Unfortunately my experience thus far has been pretty much a culmination of every bad reveiw so needless to say I'm very disappointed. This game looks like the ff7 I remember and plays much the same. At this point in development I'm pretty sure it won't be ironed out so as long as you don't mind losing progress every couple of play sessions it's ok. Considering the budget, care and passion that was put into the ps1 game you would think square would try to preserve that legacy but I guess not.

I was infatuated while I did the first mako reactor mission, then I thought I'd better cloud save. It wouldn't connect so I decided to read the reviews. The aggregation of all the reviews has made me comfortably decide to seek alternative venues to play the game.

Disconnection from wifi/mobile data causes game to close! Lost an hour of progress on my most recent session! Not great! Aside from this, everything else is identical to the original. Playing on a Galaxy S10 in Dex mode, on my TV with Bluetooth Xbox One controller. Will update if devs fix issue with game closing due to internet connectivity loss. Tldr: It's hard to get into a game you just spent money on, when there's always a lingering possibility you're going to lose progress.
