Ang Alamat ay bumabanggit sa matatandang kuwentong-pabulang nasasalig sa
pangyayari noong unang panahon at tumutukoy sa kahalagahan ng pangkaraniwa’y
tungkol sa diyos o bayani.

Ang Alamat ay sali-salimuot na kuwentong ang layunin ay magpaliwanag ng sagisag ng

panganib, sakit, masamang kapalaran, kamatayan – sa pamamagitan ng
