FastHub is actively developed. More features will come!

Warning! This application may work incorrectly on discontinued CyanogenMod firmware. Since this is a bug of discontinued modified operating system, we can do nothing about it. Please, think of upgrading to LineageOS instead of writing bad reviews.

Why can't I see my Organizations either Private or Public ones?

Open up and look for FastHub, open it then scroll to Organization access and click on Grant Button,
alternatively login via Access Token which will ease this setup.

I tried to login via Access Token & OTP but it does not work?

You can't login via Access Token & OTP all together due to the lifetime of the OTP code, you'll be required to login in every few seconds.

Why my Private Repo Wiki does not show up?

It's due to FastHub scraping GitHub Wiki page & Private Repos require session token that FastHub doesn't have.

I login with Enterprise account but can't interact with anything other than my Enterprise GitHub?

Well, logically, you can't access anything else other than your Enterprise, but FastHub made that possible but can't do much about it,
in most cases since your login credential doesn't exists in GitHub server. But in few
cases your GitHub account Oauth token will do the trick.

You love FastHub? You want new features or bug fixes? Please contribute to the open source project (GitHub Project) either by creating PR or submitting an issue ticket.

Google Play Reviews

  1. Justin M-avatar

You know you've made it when your app is better than the official one. This is THE ONLY github app you need. Does everything (that I need at least). Love the multiple theme selections. Sometimes I do get a error message when trying to star a repo, but it goes away too fast to read it. I know it mentions something about a lot, but I haven't found it yet. Bottom line: the app is worth it. The paid versions are worth it. You'll be happy with it , promise.

  2. Pablo Pazos-avatar

pro apk Navigation to own repository issues is awkward, the navigation hierarchy is not well organized. Not showing private repos on organizations I have access to. If I go to an issue on the app, update the issue description on the web then refresh the issue on the app, the new text doesn't appear.

  3. Lorin Halpert-avatar

apk Great UX/UI, seems well maintained. Although I mostly use GitLab its well worth supporting this project as well as it goes way beyond the 1st party application. Wish he'd make one for GL as well ;D

  4. Ryan Reich-avatar

I like this app in every way except that its support for enterprise accounts is iffy. It's the only one of the git apps that I can find that supports them at all, but it has two big problems: 1. I have to enter my username and password, and the address of the server, every time, and then it separately asks for two-factor authentication. 2. It forgets my login session easily. I have repeatedly tried to comment on a PR that it opens just fine and been told that I'm signed out.

  5. Liang-Shih Lin-avatar

Love it but there seems to be an issue with downloading releases. It keeps failing as the download starts.

  6. That Habesguy-avatar

Really puts all the work you are active on to the forefront. Issues and PRs are in your face and easy to get through. Thoughtful organization for a multi-project developer. UI is simple in a good way. Thanks for this.

  7. Jus Stone-avatar

This is a great app and I can navigate faster through material which is important because I'm learning. Speed and efficiency always contribute to more knowledge absorbed

  8. kyle davies-avatar

Rated 2 stars in the past but now changing back to 5 because majority of the main issues have been solved again. Took ages and thought the dev had given up with the project but finally it's back to a fully functional app, well 98%-ish which to me is good enough considering the state it was previously in after loving/using it for so long. Gg dev for pulling ya finger out xD

  9. Klaus Ferreira-avatar

This app is great! Have all the features we need in a so small app. Editing review cause dev guided me how to show organizations. One suggestion left: 1) The "watch" feature just have two states (unwatched and watched). We need "watch releases" too; P.S.: you could implement features from Chrome extension's Refined GitHub.

  10. Safirah A-avatar

I don't understand what used to work just fine for me but now it's not letting me download any of the apps I used to be able to download from here.. Every time I try to download something app related it just gives me a download unsuccessful error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app and yes I gave it storage permission..i really hope this gets fixed. ☹️

  11. Shayne Hartford-avatar

    Shayne Hartford

Hasn't fixed trending in months, closes many issues a day reporting it instead of fixing it, saying it will be fixed after a rewrite instead of fixing it in the current version, not acceptable for a public product to not be able to update for months.

  12. Franco Lewison-avatar

Really handy app for checking GitHub on the go from a wonderful open sourcerer! 😎

  13. Isaac Newton-avatar

Great! Suggestion: Please allow us to skip the loading start page or at least make it dark theme aware... At night it makes my eyes bleed when I start FastHub. 😉

  14. Benjamin Davies-avatar

    Benjamin Davies

Does everything the website does, except for source editing, in a way that makes it discoverable on mobile

  15. Abhishek Pakhare-avatar

    Abhishek Pakhare

Developer have created very good user experience for interacting with repos. I will always recommend this app for Github

  16. Prince Sharma-avatar

Yes, this is the only Client i'll ever be using for GitHub. Even tho i don't code and will ever.

  17. Kan-Ru Chen-avatar

Way better than the official app at the moment. Great job 👍!

  18. Mr the Good-avatar

Even though i mostly use the official GitHub app now, this app is still great

  19. Steven Otwell-avatar

Awesome app. But the markdown editor doesn't support to create table quickly. Please add this function, thanks.

  20. Condor-avatar

Please don't send pointless notifications for updates that Google Play will guaranteed take care of, thx Edit: I've just read the changelog, my apologies...

  21. Thierry Doornbos-avatar

Generally a great app that feels intuitive and I personally seldom have many issues with. For me and many others there's just one breaking issue: wiki pages don't load. Unfortunately this does lead me to not use this app as often as I otherwise would. It's also been an issue for (several?) months, which irks me a bit, considering I paid for the app. However, the developer seems passionate about his product and seems to genuinely care about its users. I imagine they have a life on the side too.

  22. Devin Hussey-avatar

Not good for typing, and there are some lag issues. Most editors are in a tiny window that barely takes up the whole screen. Some let you expand into fullscreen, but others don't. Performance is terrible when loading files >20 kb. The progress bar just hangs. Otherwise, there aren't many other issues with it aside from some inconsistent UI choices.

  23. Carl Gable Watts-avatar

    Carl Gable Watts

This is a good app for GitHub but it really needs a user setting to choose which font you want to use when viewing code. I prefer to read code in a proportional font not a monospaced font. I'd also like to be able to adjust the font size of the code while it is in "wrapped text mode". Most preferable would be a Setting to allow me to specify the font and don't size that I would like to use when viewing code.

  24. Jack Denny-avatar

Easily the best git client for android. If anyone knows of a better I would be surprised. having used loads of them, this is the best. Everything is really intuitive and nicely laid out. You may now be asking why not 5 stars then? Well dear reader I have two issues. 1) wikis don't load 2) links sometimes don't work The first one has been around for ages and is by far the most iritating for me. When this gets fixed this is an incredibly easy 5*. The devs have done amazingly, I love this app!

  25. Atom Mac-avatar

Decent software, but beware of overcharge. I accidentally bought features at the 5.99 price point, then realized that the 7.99 price included all of the features from the lower price point as wel as some others. I then bought the 7.99 feature set, thinking I would be prorated since I had already paid 5.99 but instead I was charged twice. Other than that, the app works as advertised.

  26. Milan-avatar

I like the app, but... assigning the issues and seeing who is assigned to the issue is no easy task, and I don't see that as a pro feature. If that was a thing I would consider buying the pro version. Another thing is that when trying to assign an issue to someone, you open the menu with multiselect and see list of persons with checkboxes that are used to assign the issue, what I don't like is the fact that multiselect does not have prechecked users which are already assigned. Also on list of issues, next to the issue is profile picture of person who created the issue, which is confusing since all other ticket tracking software (jira, azure devops, ...) are showing the profile picture of person to whom the issue is assigned, not the profile picture of person who created the issue.

  27. aayush gupta-avatar

Edit: Thanks for the tip. Found it. Edited rating to 5 star. Keep doing the good work. Nice app. I have been using premium version since few months and it is really good. However I would love to see a few more features like Access to GitHub releases section, ability to see check signs that my travis, appveyor builds passed.

  28. Jose Perez-avatar

Nice app! it keeps everything compact as it should, while showing all action icons/buttons. I think one thing where it could improve on is adding emoji translation. My repositories' commits are populated with emoji's (Gitmoji), but the app won't show them. it will only show the keyword like `:fire:`

  29. ML Allen, Jr.-avatar

Liked it enough to buy it but the wiki pages always show up blank on the app. So can't edit or even review wiki which I manage for my team projects. So the main use I have for this app doesn't function. Evidently this has been an issue since last October 2018 and we are waiting for a fix. Opened a ticket but was just closed and told search the issues yourself. The issue doesn't help me, the fix does! Disappointed I paid for this app and with no update in over a year its just abondoned. Beware!

  30. Vuk Hidalgo-avatar

I've been using FastHub Libre from F-Droid for over a year for website managing and private projects. As a free as in freedom tool, it has become my daily driver and today has become the day I decided to buy the full all-featured premium access just to contribute in some way to this awesome app, even if I had all the features before with the "Libre" version. For me, it's worth spending some money for the continuity of this project and for replenishing the coffee mugs of this great developer :)

  31. A Google user-avatar

Great app, but I have a few wishes: 1) First, I think that adding of automatic backup will be really helpful because there's situations when my phone kills fasthub task and all uncommited changes were gone 2) Decrease time of sync, because I need to wait like minute or maybe even more before I can see edited version of file after commit was done Definitely, 5 stars

  32. Rahul Mishra-avatar

Thanx dev for this amazing app although most needed features are paid and price is too high but I appreciate what you doing.... and you should get for it but having that much high price won't help and only earning guys can afford that... As a student its not fitting for me and many more guys out there... thanx

  33. Akash Mehta-avatar

Easily one of the most powerful github clients for mobile. It'd be good if there was a search option inside files though. Sometimes the files could be rather large and you just have to scroll to find what you want. That's the only nitpick I have.

  34. pnt xall-avatar

This app is awesome. I believe it should even be the official github aoo

  35. Coder Geass-avatar

    So many bugs...

  36. Vlad Potra-avatar

Great app! The ux is a little tricky at the beginning but I quickly got used to it. Overall great work and very helpful features!

  37. Daniel Rios-avatar

This is the best Github client for Android, but it has some bugs, it does not show all issues, and the images are not uploaded in issue creation area. These are the two problems I've found in this app

  38. Pulkit Singh-avatar

Took time to figure it out but once I did boy oh boy did I love it .. Beautiful app, love the customisations .. A little confusing , had to take some to figure out where everything was , but overall beautiful app, much appreciated

  39. Autumn-avatar

Bought the pro version and cannot edit or do anything commit-related to files. This was a very important feature to me and I'm saddened that it no longer works.

  40. Carlos Moreno-avatar

Downloaded this to use with GitHub Enterprise but when clicking to use that login method all it displays is a warning with no way to actually use that login method. So it's useless to me.

  41. Justin Kelly-avatar

You cant claim "ultimate" when your not supporting github features. The UI layout and flow seems very geared to seeing your repo (the code) and following the feed of others. For bussoness users on the go, organizational and team management is nerfed.

  42. A Google user-avatar

For all I use this app, this did a perfect job of displaying notifications. It is convenient to use the app and the UI is just great.

  43. Michael Daryabeygi-avatar

    Michael Daryabeygi

Soo many GitHub apps to choose from. I appreciate this one the most for it's searching features. still could be improved for someone, like me, following lots of repos I don't own or commit to.

  44. Christian Dysthe-avatar

    Christian Dysthe

This is how GitHub should be on my phone. Lots of features but only useful ones. With Pro even more and some really nice themes to top it all off. Perfect and well worh a couple of bucks.

  45. Jason Carpenter-avatar

    Jason Carpenter

This has most of the features of the GitHub website, but what I was hoping for was the KanBan Project feature that GitHub added semi-recently. I really hope I can manage my projects' KanBans in the app in the future.

  46. nick bouldien-avatar

awesome app! I use it pretty much daily so decided to buy the premium version to help the developer(s). keep up the good work

  47. Chris Black-avatar

Development seems to have stalled. Wiki parsing has been broken for months and the app hasn't seen an update in over a year.

  48. Tim Eckel-avatar

Wikis are non-functional (blank). Sometimes changes to issues don't stick. Other than that, solid app.

  49. Jonathan White-avatar

Man, I switched to another Github app for a second and when I came back, I was floored by how beautiful and functional FastHub is! I'm sold. Deleting the other one now.

  50. Abdullah Addoun-avatar

    Abdullah Addoun

i haven't tried other apps for GitHub, but I've loved this one and i hope for modern style improvement in the next version. it's perfect 😊

  51. Craig Couture-avatar

stopped working suddenly. Trending is broken. Timeline is broken. everything seems broken.

  52. Rohit Goswami-avatar

The best FOSS client. Does everything it claims to but not necessarily everything one might expect from a github client. Docked a few stars because the F-droid version is missing paid features.

  53. A Google user-avatar

Satisfies all of my needs and only requires payment for some additional features while also looking pretty. A solid 5/5, keep it up guys!

  54. Runar Fredagsvik-avatar

It would be great if you would add that the project card's markdown code isn't displayed in clear text.

  56. Jasper de Vries-avatar

Notifications are not working for me. Without them this app isn't very useful. Notifications were the only reason for me to install it.

  57. Jonas Nilson-avatar

Simple and well designed interface, but it lacks some features.

  58. Marc TorSoc-avatar

    Cannot visualise jupyter notebooks

  59. Ben Cearlock-avatar

  61. Dipayan Dasgupta-avatar

    Dipayan Dasgupta

Best client so far. The full version sounds awesome but the price is way too high for an open source software

  62. Kev Kce-avatar

Wiki pages aren't displayed at all. Otherwise the app is working great.

  63. Stevie1da-avatar

Great mobile tool, but I have to log back in to my GitHub account everytime I close the app.

  64. Timothy Glover-avatar

Love it! Works great but the treading pages no longer work :(

  65. Arthur Neuman-avatar

A little premium based, but good. Wish it had Gitter integrated.

  66. Hanan Park-avatar

edit is the very basic functionality for this app, and there's no edit capability for the free version.

  67. Ysbrand van Eijck-avatar

    Ysbrand van Eijck

For Github this app is good. However, I hoped it would also support Gitlab. (I purchased the pro edition to add the gitlab page of my university, just to find out that didn't work at all.)

  68. Tessa Garrison-avatar

Constantly receiving errors saying I've triggered some error. all I'm doing is using the search bar.

  69. user 3301-avatar

This is the best GitHub client I came across on both Android & iOS platform, it has all the features that I need.

  74. Alexandria-avatar

Good but unresolved issues with no updates in a year and a half

  75. Rohit Sharma-avatar

It should have an option to disable showing line numbers.

  76. S H-avatar

very good app except for 'trending' category that always shows 'no trending'

  77. MagicManFoli-avatar

Editing files from repos is not possible without PRO, uninstalled because that was my only use-case.

Excellent app for GitHub, so informational, knowledge acessible and learning constantly.

  85. Joachim Burket-avatar

You actually need to buy this app for functions that you get for free using the github website. What a joke. The GUI is also a basic android template, why am I not suprised.

i don't want to give my full account permissions to this app. I just want to read source code and issues from public repos. Is that possible at all? The app refuses to let me in, unless I tell it my password.
