Our family has been using FAMCAL for years. It works well but I have always wished it would finally be available for PC and Mac computers. I'm in the military and work in a building where I cannot bring my phone inside and have to duplicate effort and find work arounds to keep track family calendar events. That disconnect is finally getting to be unworkable. I'll be migrating the whole family over to Cozi Gold because I can access it on my home & work computers and our phones. I hate to do this because I actually prefer FAMCAL's interface and functionality. I know you can run an Android emulator like Bluestacks but not everyone in my family is that tech savvy.

I really like this app. Everyone in the family can use the calendar, add events, get notifications and reminders, add groceries to any of the grocery lists, add tasks and assign them and get reminders. I love the interactivity of this app. The only thing it doesn't have that I really wish it had is a more specific grocery shopping list, that you can add prices to and it would add up the cost in your shopping cart.

I liked the functionality of this app. This is the 4th shared calendar I've tried. After a while though the notifications stopped coming. I emailed them and they said to uninstall and reinstall, which we both did, but still no notifications. I will probably just go back to a paper calendar on the wall since I cannot find an app that either doesn't notify us at all or bombards every person with notifications that are not relevant to them.

This app is great - improvements could be to allow kids over 13 to be emailed as well so that they can also have the app on their devices. Most kids now have email addresses at that age and their own devices. Also recently a family member changed their name to owner and now I can't undo it. It looks like my email is on his app as a user instead of his and to correct this seems to be quite the process. More widgets would be great too! Other then that I love it.

Family Member can't log in. I set up this app for the first time. Added family members email addresses, gave them the shared password I created & asked them to log in using their email address & the shared password. It gave them the error message saying "please check your email address and password". I verified the email address and it's the same I entered when I added them. Verified the password, & it was correct yet they can't log in. We can't use the app. What have we missed?

The total lack of support for Google Calendar is completely unacceptable in today's world. I need to be able to easily copy events to and from Google Calendar easily and FamCal seems to actively block that. Really. Just about the worst calendar app I've encountered recently. EDIT: Okay, so I can include my Google calendar in FamCal apparently. I haven't tried it because that is 100% useless to me. What I need is to be able to easily export FamCal events into my Google Calendar. Which requires that I email myself an ICS file. Even that isn't reliable.
