• Make alliances or enemies in the Los Diablos underworld while you outfight and outthink the heroes set against you.
• Explore relationships as straight, gay, bisexual or aromantic. Romance a mad scientist, your former partner, or both.
• Juggle two bodies and three identities, play as male, female or genderqueer.
• Above all; make sure your past never catches up with you.

  1. Red Bean-avatar

It is a beautifully written choice game. The plot was intense, the theme of it had me genuinely emotionally exhausted due to the raw emotions weaved into the story, the characters were all well-made and had their own little traits like they should, I can't begin to count how many times I came back and cried while reading. Easily one of the best stories I've ever read, 10/10.

  2. Her Imperial Xiiara-avatar

    Her Imperial Xiiara

Beautiful and complex story and characters!!! And there are so many different choices you can make it is wonderful. I cant wait for Fallen Hero: Retribution, because this book is amazing. I have read it so many times and you get really attached to the characters, they feel human. You can choose what type of relationship you have with them and it's not just friend or lover, which is boring after awhile. I highly recommend this game, it is quite possibly the best one currentlt available. 💚

  3. Jordan Bauslaugh-avatar

    Jordan Bauslaugh

This was so fun. I kept myself up every night until I finished it wondering-pondering what was going to happen in the next part. I recommend this game to anyone always dreaming of being the villain in a world full of people wanting to be heroes. Paying for the full version is literally only $5 (I think) and it's well worth it!

  4. Jake Moore-avatar

Actually played this game at release but am only now reviewing after a second playthrough. This is one of my all time favorite Hosted games. The story is great, the characters are all lovable in their own ways and the story truly feels unique. Instead of railroading you or feeling like a generic Dark vs. Light story, this story is only shades of grey and you have full control over your motivation to be evil.

  5. Berea Robinson-avatar

I haven't had the chance to play many novel based games but this one was flawless! Sure, a few misspellings here and there but it didn't take away from the experience. I really loved this and it ate up hours of my day. Can't wait for the sequel!

  6. Sakdar Suvakorn-avatar

I really enjoy the use of telepathic power, could be bias because it's my favorite superpower... Love the seriousness of the story, doesn't give off the high school or university kinda drama vibe, it doesn't feel like it's targeted only at teens so it's enjoyable for adults too. I've already played some of fallen hero retribution and I'm already very excited and can't wait.

  7. Michael Price-avatar

Fantastic! This was an awesome read. I am addicted to this story. More please!!! I read a lot of these stories and this one is by far one of the best. Immersive and enticing storyline. Emotionally gripping and transportive with the relationships and character development. Watch out, you might become a published author someday. Thank you for the awesome entertainment.

  8. Jay-avatar

Love this game it's been a few years now but I'm still really hoping for a part 2 The game has such a wonderful story arch and the romance is spot on (if you want it XD) I would recommend this game to soo many people who like rpg or choose your own adventure books.

  9. Felicia Y. G.-avatar

A fresh story in the superhero genre, packed with some good action, variations, and plot. The cast is small, sadly, and although very intriguing, are not deeply explored, even in their romance route. Choices are not plenty, but they matter. That may be rectified in the 2nd book, though, seeing that this is the start of a series. All in all, a good and worthy purchase.

  10. Cody Ace-avatar

Great game engaging story with full characters that serve to enrich the playing process. Usually i just skim through but this one hooked me right away. Have replayed twelve times all genders and RO and all choices looking forward to the next installment. RETRIBUTION IS COMING

  11. Colton Vance-avatar

The Fallen Hero series, I can honestly say, is my favorite in the Choice/Hosted games catalog. The writer does such an amazing job at giving you insights into what it might feel like to be a telepath, and the way the panicked recollections of your character's past sometimes burst forth and threaten to overwhelm them is wonderfully done. I'm excited and eager for a new experience in this world, with the character I've made and the relationships he has. If you enjoy these types of games, Fallen Hero is a must-play.

  12. Will Be-avatar

It's a mf rollercoaster, man. It's not perfect, but I bet you'll be anxious to continue the story AND sad that you're going through it too quick. There's a LOT of things you can do - ton of replayability, for sure - and it manages to end satisfyingly while making you want the sequel. I don't know if the trauma subplot is very well-implemented, but to your everyday person it should be cool. There are some inconsistency issues and a bit of railroading also but then, there are so many paths!

  13. Shayxxx-avatar

I'm upset I have to pay to keep reading, but the story I have read is amazing. Maybe I'll buy the full version sometimes. Great app! Great story! I love it

  14. Curtis Cordova-avatar

I honestly haven't experienced a game before that had writing as in depth and impactful as this to me before. Every playthrough will be just a bit different and every person will probably experience it differently from another and everyone honestly deserves to play it. If it costed more I would still pay the higher price just for how much I got out of it.

  15. Terra Lynne-avatar

Fallen Hero: Rebirth was an incredibly captivating and involving experience. I tend to dislike sci-fy settings like this, but was almost instantly invested in the story of Sidestep and their path to villainy. I want to see their story continue, and the love interest that I got invested in blossom. Can't wait for Retribution to fully release on mobile. If you're looking for a very diverse, inclusive and angst filled romance and adventure novel, FHR is totally for you.

  16. Sid Low-avatar

Very well written. I really like the implications to the past and I'm not sure if they're in the main story or slated for the next but either way it's been very interest pulling. The characters each feel different and unique from each other and there isnt a feeling of forced choice throughout.

  17. Chrome-avatar

Gotta say, feel pretty gyped. This was the first cyoa I bought in on, since it never seemed worth it on any others. This one had a decent enough intro, and set up enough of your character's motivation and achievements to get me to buy in. But that's where it basically ended. All you really buy is awful drama and the ending. The free bits are the most interesting parts. The purchased bit felt heavily edited down, and the climax was mostly pre-written with very little input afforded to the player

  18. Sydney Richard-avatar

definitely one of the top interactive novels i have ever played, i just keep replaying it over and over, cannot wait for retribution

  19. Tristan Satkunas-avatar

    Tristan Satkunas

After playing this game, my standards for choose your own story games are impossible to achieve. Any other game falls short compared to this one. Im obsessed with it and how well it was written and how 3D the charecter seems to be, its my favorite choose your own story game and i cant wait for the seqeal!

  20. Ashley Moni-avatar

Fantastic. It has a really incredible Worm energy to it. I love that I can pick my gender, race, the genders of my romantic interests... It even lets me be trans!

  21. Vizun Alvarez-avatar

Amazing game, I love the mentality of the MC, and would buy this game again, for full price. Can't wait for the second one!

  22. Gabriel Carvalho-avatar

    Gabriel Carvalho

the gameplay/choices you make in this game are all very satisfying. the world building in this game is also done very well. I like that I can choose how my character looks and the suit they wear. all and all I can't wait for the next chapter of this series.

  23. Harmony Knapp-avatar

I absolutely love this game, i loved how i got to mold the story from my actions, i loved the characters, i loved how we could build relationships through our actions, and i loved that were playing the part of the villain, plus i cant wait tell i can get the second part so i could see how the story continues.

  24. Kat le kit kat-avatar

absolutely amazing and worth it. Ive played it over and over. Though honestly the lack in the diversity of endings was a bit disappointing, the story was still more than I ever expected. Kudos to the writers and developers. Hope to see the next part of the story soon!

  25. Danielle Aguilar-avatar

    Danielle Aguilar

I love it, I don't really play phone games that often but I was glad I took the chance to try this one. The demo was surprisingly alluring, once I finished it I went and unlocked the full version.

  26. Zavier Gibson-avatar

An amazing text adventure game, I just wish it was longer!! Longing foward to your next fallen hero game

  27. Mac Tíre Aonair-avatar

    Mac Tíre Aonair

It was great! The story was really immersive but i wish that its sequel would come out sooner, CAN'T WAIT!

  28. Sidney DeBrule-avatar

Really good story with choices that genuinely feel organic and affect the plot. Also I love every character in it

  29. Lostline 400-avatar

Have yet too purchase the full game. Yet. Don't wanna, but if it means playing this story, so be it. Feel a bit biased since I really love these type of games.

  30. Blair Kim-avatar

I loved every moment of this. I ate it up in three days, actually. I could see the impacts of my actions, and it was fun to balance between villain and human. I will say that my path did seem a little inevitable, despite my choices. Still, very very fun. It does take some puzzling out in the beginning to figure out why I'm doing what I am, but it makes sense plot wise. Can't wait for the next installment.

  31. Elly Brus-avatar

This is so well written. And what an incredibly sympathetic main character. These interactive narratives are strange things - we inhabit these characters and make choices for them. And they make choices for us. Wasn't expecting to get so attached to my "puppet". At times I forgot who I really was (in the best possible way). I initially thought the idea of getting close to Ortega was boring, but the character just drew me in, and I was just as helpless as the main character was in letting him in.

  32. John D-avatar

The best one of these CYOA with RPG aspects I've tried. This author has a gift, weaving romance and intrigue into hardcore classic cyberpunk. This is a work of art which speaks to the soul like _Seedship_ or _Burning Chrome_.

  33. Daniel Cornejo-avatar

I absolutely loved the story and look forward to reading more. I ended up really liking the main protagonist (at least with the path I made him take) and I found myself getting really immersed in the character. I still would love the option to restart a chapter if needed as there were times were I felt I had missed something or realized other options would have made more sense for the character, but I couldn't change them. Still, definitely worth the read!

  34. Luke807-avatar

One of the best written, if not THE best written, CYOA I've ever played. I've purchased almost everything by Choice of Games/Hosted Games and this is at the top of your list of options on Google Play.I'm also glad the author let me know before the free portion of the game that it's part of a series. I've been infuriated by other authors who hit me with bait and switch tactics and never mentioned its part of a series after slapping me with a $5 price tag. Give this a shot, well worth the money

  35. Harrison Daley-avatar

this was my first multiple choice story game, and what a way to start. characters are amazing, both complex and relatable, there wasn't a single point where I wasn't thinking "I would have done the same in their position". Now...if only we knew when the sequal was being released. Is a sequel happening? I need my fix ;)

  36. Zach Sepelak-avatar

I've played this game both on steam and google play. This must be one of the most solid Hosted Games product that I've ever played. The author establishes a fantastic world and the MC doesnt just feel like a super blank slate. You feel like your character actually existed before the events of the book. This may turn some people off, but it created such an amazing narrative that I keep getting hooked on it. 10/10: would name myself "Sidestep" again.

  37. Cosmic eggs-avatar

I really like the story so far, but there is a problem with inputting customised things. I made my catchphrase, "Jeez". I wanted to do a different name other than Cynthia, but when I go to type it in, I can't. I get an autofill option for Jeez and I can't type the name I want. The same thing happened in Creatures Such As We. I was doing another playthrough and I couldn't type another name other than the one from my first playthrough. I enjoy these games greatly.

  38. American Person-avatar

    American Person

Honestly, Fallen Hero: Rebirth is a great read and well worth it's price. While this may be the case, I do have a few (minor) compliants. I felt like my character said and did certain things I didn't like. Aka: Lacking in choice at certain points. The customization of said character lacked as well.(Like most games of this type, so no 'real' complaint there.) Skin tone, hair and eye color is pretty basic. Body build would've been a nice add on. So, yep. That's it! Can't wait for sequel.

  39. A Google user-avatar

This was so much fun! The writing is solid and blessedly coherent throughout, which allows for characterization of both the player character and others. Admittedly, your character is inevitably sort of jaded and vengeful but that's not necessarily a downside. Giving you a fully formed background allows for a tighter plot and motivations, though you are able to fine tune your outlook and responses. You sacrifice the initial character customization available in some CYOA for a tighter story experie

  40. Charley Miller-avatar

Immersive, well-written, and well thought out: Fallen Hero has quickly become my favourite game of its kind. A fresh perspective of villainy that slowly unwinds your motivations with key life events and memories [rather than all at once] via an unreliable narrator: yourself. Its a fun guessing game, truly. Are your actions right or wrong? You decide, and the world around you will truly tell. Everything's not just black and white in villainy, and you get to decide your boundaries. Truly inspired!

  41. Rus'sel Butts-avatar

I've played about 20 choice of games and this is definitely one of my favorite. The story is a length worth the price. If gives you a different perspective or being a villain and makes you question your morality in the achieving of your goals. I just finished my first play through and will make sure to play this one again.

  42. Treyvon Wolfe-avatar

Customization and options are many. Story let's you decide how the story will go, whether you are a total psychopathic villain or a misunderstood anti-hero. Speaking of, the plot draws you in and fully engages you with characters you will love to learn more about each time. The plot is one that is brilliantly crafted and you will honestly invest yourself in the character you create. Definitely worth the money and a must buy. Can't wait for the sequel in the works.

  43. Thomas Shubert-avatar

THIS GAME IS AMAZING. There is a slight glitch on the main page, for those of you who buy it, where it says that you are only playing the demo version, but other than that, the story is deep, the characters engaging, and the premises is JUST PLAIN AWESOME!!!!!!

  44. Rahna Jacob-avatar

Undoubtedly the best IF I've ever played, and I don't say that lightly. The sheer detail and customisation of the MC and the world around them astounds me, especially as I follow the alpha for the 2nd book. The author knows how to write a mentally ill character without dehumanising them. Excellent replay value, I've played it like 5 times now.

  45. Caden Richardson-avatar

    Caden Richardson

Absolutely adore this game. The characters are so vivid and real and everything is incredibly well written and fluid. The world created here is endlessly interesting, and there are so many choices that you can replay the game several times and still find new content each time. This game actually inspired me to start writing again! ❤

  46. Mohamad Mulkinugraha-avatar

    Mohamad Mulkinugraha

I've read quite a few CYOA games, some were intriguiting, great world building but lacked immersion and character development. Finding the balance between them is tricky as it comes down to personal preference. This not only manages to excel in both but compelled me to make the same desicion through every replay as I hadn't the heart to see them otherwise. Truly and exciting experience which I recommend to those looking for something different

  47. Becca Camp-Allen-avatar

    Becca Camp-Allen

an absolutely excellent game. the writing is amazing and the story is really compelling and interesting. this game has excellent replay value and I can't wait to play through again! I'm excited for the completed version of Retribution. definitely worth the money to buy the completed version.

  48. RedJaded-avatar

bought the game on steam on my PC. it was AMAZING!! loved the experience, the story was immersive the chocies felt like they could actually happen, and all the characters were so much fun to interact with. The game as a 'choose your own adventure' is phenomenal, I only played through the game twice but it feels like you can truly make the MC into whatever kind of villain you want. 10/10 Experience, waiting in anticipation for the next entry.

  49. Mysterious Person-avatar

    Mysterious Person

It excites the imagination. The only real problem is the expensive 4$ paywall, but other than that, the game really is excellent.

  50. Ali Hassan Gondal-avatar

    Ali Hassan Gondal

It was really entertaining and the story kept me excited.Almost everything about the Game was Great but there was Shortage of Romance in there❤️😝❤️and the Concept of Villen is Fascinating.Really looking forward to (Retribution) and Continue the Story.

  51. Nel Lindblom-avatar

This is one of the best products of Hosted Games that I have ever played. Every relationship is fleshed out, and every choice has weight. This game is so grimly and satisfying, and maintains the mystery of what happened to your character while giving you enough information to keep you invested.

  52. sanath SHET-avatar

Great game, must try for any who loves text based ones it's like play through a adventure book

  53. Wendy Smith-avatar

I absolutely adore this! The writing is rich with description and i immediately found myself enraptured. The options actually make a difference!! And the choices for your gender are really incredible. I am incredibly invested in this! I would gladly buy more stories from this writer!

  54. Victoria-avatar

Sequel when? ♡ Very fun options, and I love that you can save your file at the end for sequel tie-in. Very ambitious. There is some challenging content relating to suicidal ideation, which is another reason I am eager for the story to continue. It is an engaging and powerful take, and it needs resolution to avoid leaving the reader completely desperate.

  55. Adrian Hernandez-avatar

    Adrian Hernandez

The writing is amazing, consistently gritty and playing with the story, only giving us fragments of a torn past that keeps us wanting to know more. From beginning to end it is a game with both style and substance, giving me by far the best supervillain Choice of/Hosted Games I've played yet. I cannot wait for the sequel!

  56. Donhie Bajaro-avatar

The story managed to convinced me to to buy the rest of the chapters and the Author seems to have put his all into this, I am looking forward for more creations!

  57. Savannah Heljenek-avatar

    Savannah Heljenek

Great game, had me captivated the entire time. Definitely something you could play a couple time. Do recomend.

  58. ZW Seow-avatar

irritating bug where touching a selected radio button advances to the next page even though I was just scrolling up. however, awesome story, i would like to play through again to see all routes. my first playthrough seemed to cut out alot of the story though. however i loved the part where you can add in your own lines. it gave lots of fun trying to think up lines that sounded funny while fitting the context.

  59. Dillon Lippert-avatar

Arguably my favorite CoG/Hosted Games product, and I've at the very least tried most of them, not to mention played through entirely. The writing and setup in this story stands head and shoulders over nearly everything else in their library, and leaves you anticipating the followup.

  60. Gilbert Sandoval Jr-avatar

    Gilbert Sandoval Jr

A phenomenal, depressing, dystopian story that's brilliantly written with choices that matter. my only gripe is that the stats seem kindve pointless in most areas, and there really is no explanation, but this was amazing, I look forward to seeing the next game and when its it's out.

  61. Gabriela Silva-avatar

I Really Really Love this series so far!! 💕 I love the writing and how the story is playing out. 😄💕 It really feels like pretty much any decision you make can affect the story a bit differently and it's interesting to be able to play as a villain. 👀 I adore the characters ; - ; I can't wait to read more when ever the next book comes out. I just feel blessed to have played this game. 💖💖💖

  62. Benjamin Dickson-avatar

    Benjamin Dickson

Love, love, loved it! Honestly a lot of these game books are boring but there are a few gems like this one that are extremely entertaining! This game had me wishing that I could get off the path I was on so I could create a life with Ortega!

  63. Dark Justin-avatar

Story was perfect but it was just very short. If it had been longer like at least 5 chapters then it would be the best CYOA of all time.

  64. Kristy Mothra-avatar

This story is phenomenal!!! Very engrossing and engaging, with a lot of ability to customize and fantastic characters!!! Its got a lot of reread value and I LOVE IT! Can't wait for more!!! Keep up the amazing work!

  65. Jonathan Head-avatar

Great story line and character development in my opinion, definitely recommend this one, worth they money

  66. Niamh Hudson-Fiorilla-avatar

    Niamh Hudson-Fiorilla

One of the best choice games ive ever played. Great story telling!! i cant say much without giving too much away but i really appreciate that this is a choice game that didnt feel too childish. i loved it. cant wait for retribution!

  67. Jay-avatar

when i first got the app, it would crash frequently. im not sure if it was because it was the "demo" version, but after i payed for the app it ran pretty smoothly. i really enjoyed the story and cant wait for the next!

  68. Winter Molloy-avatar

one of my favorite text based games so far. it offers more costimization options than many games like it. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the main character was actually smart and well written.

  69. Thomas Mayer-avatar

Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I cant reccomend this game hard enough. The story telling was phenomenal, encapsulating, and very interesting. The large variety of paths to take leaves a large amount of replayability. Perfect story, I cannot wait for part 2.

  70. Ramona Fern-avatar

Worth full price. Better than heros rise! I can't wait to play the next book!

  71. Ilana-avatar

Finally played the demo after hearing about it on social media for weeks. Immediately payed for full version and devoured it in a day. I loved it so much!!! So much fun and I can't wait for the next installment

  72. Jonah Hubbell-avatar

I really want the creators to continue with this story, it immerses the reader quit well and you can get a clear picture of the back story behind your character. All in all well worth the money and cant wait for more.

  73. Rimi likes Chocolate Cornets-avatar

Came with a few typo errors, an inconsistency where despite being given the choice to forgo a cape for your suit, the game gives you a cape anyway, and IMO an inadequately established backstory for the MC. 4 stars because I can't say I didn't enjoy it. Waiting for the sequel!

  74. Marty Lodge-avatar

Great narrative, 3.99 is a tad steep in my opinion, especially since it leaves you wanting more with a promise of a sequel, which youll probably also have to pay for. I think 3.99 for both it and the sequel is a good price, or 2.50 for each. Great story though

  75. PL4GU3 D0CT0R-avatar

I absolutely loved this story. I love how dark it gets, and how satisfying the outcome is. I can't wait for the next installment.

  76. Y Kahlil-avatar

Loved the game whole-heartedly. 5 stars for writing, concept, characters, immersion, etc. Quite possibly the best text-rpg out of the 50ish I've played. Can't wait for the next installment!

  77. Maryus Martsyalis-avatar

    Maryus Martsyalis

might be the best one of these yet. Its just so original and unpredictable, and you truly get to affect the story. so much so that it feels like you are off the narators rails half the time.

  78. Tom Davy-avatar

Phenomenal Hosted Games title. Well written, gripping story, excellent pacing, and a fresh take on an all too familiar genre. I can't wait for the sequel(s).

  79. Marcus Blackwell-avatar

    Marcus Blackwell

guys, I really like the aspect of playing the (rather underrated) villanous side but there are 2 problems 1: I don't like how you pick your choices (I can't explain but I know what I mean) & 2: why does everything else have to be paid for? Those apply to all your games btw No offense

  80. Lysander Drix-avatar

For all of the interactive novel I played, this is what I enjoyed most!

  81. Cheryl Brent-avatar

The setting and concept are fun, the writing was excellent, and I was so happy with how many choices the game offered. Definitely recommended!

  82. João Victor Pontilhão-avatar

    João Victor Pontilhão

I've played tons of games and surprisingly this game is the best I've ever played, a SMARTPHONE game, I have a console and a PC but no game has a story even CLOSE to being as good as this one. Truly, a work of art.

  83. jonathan carlson-avatar

    jonathan carlson

Arguably one of the best hosted games out right now. I 100% recommend this book to everyone!

  84. Derik Bates-avatar

Excellent! Do wish you could change some choices, even if it was only after a full playthrough. Or maybe just see the previous page with what you chose.

  85. Lewis Catlord-avatar

Very well and in-depth world building. It's awesome how the game let you be the villain, like, a "villain" villain. That alone is enough to pay for it!

  86. Belsammy HM-avatar

Amazing game/book. I recommend it to anyone who likes a good story and decision making.

  87. Evan Meyer-avatar

I absolutely loved this. The writing had me interested all the way through until the end. My choices felt like they mattered and that they went just fluff. Can't wait for the next installment!

  88. CRAKKA-avatar

It was an amazing read, it lets you be the villain that you wish to be and honestly, I've never read something that sets up a sequel so well, while keeping the current story interesting, speaking of sequels , PLEASE make the next one soon.

loved it, great story telling , and writing. Only complaint is that i had trouble really pin pointing a motive for myself as a villian to make the heroes my enemy that i wanted to take down.

I love it, not my favorite but it's still good and worth a play through or two.

I hate to say this, but I am quite disappointed. I thought the story was relatively disengaging, with some half-baked trauma plot being poorly implemented and confusing. Choices were quite limited. I ultimately felt as though I was heading down the same path regardless of what I decided to do with the surprisingly few options presented. Even how the MC acted was inconsistent. You could choose an option which established you resent a specific character, but soon after, the MC acts contrary.

It's always good to find another one of these games with surprisingly amazing writing. I'm not into superhero genre but this one is worth it.

I normally don't give out 5 stars because I can always seem to find an underlying problem but this game has been so fun I generally couldn't care about any problems because I'm in dire need for this game to continue

Loved the story and had a good experience all around. I would defiantly recommend this game to a friend. Can't wait for the next part I'm just to exited to see what happens next!

Overall The Game Was Amazing, The Story Was Beautifully Well Written And Told, And While Still Allowing Me To Chose My Own Path, The Main Character's Motivation To Become A Villain And The Effort They Put Into It All Makes The Fight Scene At The End All That Much More Satisfactory, I Will Be Waiting For The Next In The Series.

there are ads, shouldnt the purchase remove ads? I had an ad almost right when I started, and I was just reading the first or second page. There are also ads at the bottom of the screen. These people are money hungry at this point. You get paid for having ads from orher companys, then to go past the second chapter you pay $2.99? Sorry, but you decide their fate. Their story IS realistic and good, which kept me from 1 star.

great start to a series, a little less fighting than i would have liked but i understand why it was and as a result the pace is perfect

this is one of the better choice of novels out right now.the game allows you to describe your character a option most do not.also a engaging story overall with choices that matter.
