This is a good mobile game, content wise. But the key word here is it's a mobile game. Played on a mobile device. Most of the game involves traveling, and god, now with me being forced to keep watch on the travel to not become victim of gate camping, its just not mobile gaming anymore. I paid for the duo omega package for two accounts, and that will be the last time I paid money to this game. My omega accounts are still active, so I'll see when that ended if I still want to keep playing this gam

wiki The graphics is stunning and the game world/universe is vast,it's beautiful. It is overwhelming at first but enjoyable once you het the hang of things. That said, I feel so restricted looking at what skills I have access as an alpha clone, just approx 1/3 of the total, there are no accessible ships on the higher tiers w/c is also disapointing, & in combat when I tap on the screen idk if the ship's vector will go to into( X )or out of( • )the screen, I would like to be able to control that

guide The game was fine until the update; you can now be warp disrupted while autopiloting, even when offline. This is a mobile game; people don't have hours to sit looking at a small screen. Not only that, but gate guns can only target one person, which is also a HUGE problem. Another problem is the fact that someone can be banned if ten people report them. That's just an invitation for ten people from one corp to dish out revenge to their enemies.

reddit I really should rate this lower. But I can't. The game itself really is excellent; from the story to the graphics to the controls and ui, the game plays very, very well. My issue is the server and overloading of certain areas. The game gets so overloaded in some areas of the game that you quite literally cant leave a system or zone.. and it has taken me upwards of 45 minutes to get through the gate when this happens. This is a problem because if you are on a mission, it's timed..

release This is NOT a mobile phone game. Yes, it runs on your phone, but every characteristic of a phone just leads to a destroyed ship and high loss of in-game currency. Your phone rings? BOOM! Your battery is low? BOOM! You text someone? BOOM! Your connection gets unstable? BOOM! As long as your ship is not docked on, you must be 100% focussed on the game, starring for hours on the screen while your ship travels through the galaxy... You want to play? You need a non-mobile PC with an android emulator!

tipps This game has a lot of potential but has some serious issues that effect the quality of game play. The worst offender is the audit system. It is supposed to be to protect against real money trading but treats normal consumers the same as the real money traders. Moving your own inventory around triggers audit times from 1hr to up to 70hrs. Can you imagine waiting 70hrs to you and item you just crafted on your builder ALT after using plex to fund it? Absolutely no ledger for corp hangers, so no real way to open up your billions of materials to your corp, unless you want to have zero idea of what is happening to the usage. Customer service is a series of pre recorded messages and have no understanding of what's being said in the ticket. EO players are jaded and expect the mobile version to be as hardcore as the Online version but with tenth of the tools available and no API. Net ease seems to want to cater to them but in my experience playing from day one, they make up a small % of the player base. Fundamental game play is here, quality of life seems to be in Alpha stage and just charging $15 a month to access it.

omega In game support will not look at the relevant date to solve bug issues. They provide irrelevant facts and do not provide enough room to fully detail what is needed in a trouble shooting report. Thus until technical support will see that there's an issue and not go, of you got shot at by another player which caused the issue we can't help you. Not oh you had a desync issue and never saw an enemy and thought you where safely docked (The animation played, twice once for the ship, once for a pod) when your ship blew up? Perhaps we need more info from this person, it's a huge problem and the game will remain 1 star.

  8. Mark-avatar

pc It's a seriously amazing game but has a major flaw of it not being practical for a mobile game. I find it has turned my phone into a pocket PC that demands near endless attention because the second you get a phone call, text, or your just want to pull up your weather app. BOOM. Someone came along and blew your ship up. So if you enjoy your phone for being a phone, I would not recommend this game. It's an intensive PC game someone decided to make into a mobile app.

pyroxeres Game was fine when it first came out. Now there are so many people playing it, that you get stuck at the warp gate waiting to go through. Sometimes you can't even get to a mission beacon in the alloted time due to congestion. I find myself playing this game less and less due to the wait time to go from one area to the next. I have lost millions of ISK due to running out of time. Frankly this game is becoming more of a hassle than its worth, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STAY AWAY!!!!

forum The game itself is really great. The idea and concept are very interesting and smell the adventures! While it is seemingly a port from PC EVE ONLINE into mobile, have to also consider that mobile users cannot perform same tasks as one can on PC, one of them is being present during your travelling. The "bug" that was fixed to be able to disrupt warping during autopilot is destroying that concept of a mobile game and turns it into game that you MUST play on emulator...Not a mobile friendly. 2stars

Could've been great but very awkward to play in short bursts on mobile. Close the screen for a few minutes and you have to relog in. Way too many clicks to get back in the game: click to launch app, wait, click to dismiss launch movie click to dismiss downtime notification that loads EVERY TIME , click on start, wait, click to select character, wait... Then you can play

  12. Robbie Noble-avatar

    Robbie Noble

Travel is a core component of this game, but with the server's hard capacity at 1000 players per system, it is impossible to get through bottlenecks in hi-sec. As if that wasn't bad enough they are subjecting everyone to griefers during autopilot, which makes Eve Online require your constant attention, like boiling a pot of gasoline on an open flame. The bait and switch "bug fix" is a big hit with the contingent emulating Android on a 4 monitor RTX SLI rig with 10 years of experience in Eve Online. I certainly wouldn't put any money into this until we see how the developers handle these issues. They are not unsolvable, but it seems like they are trending in the wrong direction.

  13. Julian Karlo-avatar

    Julian Karlo

I'm giving it a 1 star rating for one reason, pay wall. It's not free to play at all and you cannot progress your tech level without paying for a premium monthly. Also, this game is time consuming, wether you are mining or fighting. IF and only if, you are willing to put your money and spend all your time here then go ahead. I'm moving on from this thing.

  14. Huldric Franconian-avatar

    Huldric Franconian

The game is pretty good, considering being a mobile game. The graphics are pretty cool and the gameplay is on point. The biggest drawback for the game is certain area are clogged with people waiting to use jumpgates. That leaves alot of people in que, just waitong to move onto another area. That's my reason for giving this 2 stars. If it should be fixed, I'll edit my rating

  15. Armen Arustamov-avatar

    Armen Arustamov

Game had potential, a lot of it, but sadly as a veteran EO player i could not understand how this insane ammount of bots is allowed in the game? How some of a game-breaking bugs are still a thing months after release? No content was added in the meantime, there is nothing to do other than running bot trains to farm for RMT like Chinese do or dying in a lackluster PVP to a distance grid bugs in nulls. Needs a lot of time & a lot of work this game, right now it feels like an alpha version.

  16. Nick Reedy-avatar

    Nick Reedy

Pay to compete with high learning curve. Will cost $10 to $15 per month to advance beyond basic skills. Very aggressive playes in an open world. Huge amount of in game corruption and off game selling for in game items. If you don't want to devote a lot of your real income and time, this game isn't for you. After terrible patches and updates, the developers have proven themselves incompetent. Downgraded to 1 star after the August 26th fiasco.

  17. •Kryll•-avatar

there are lots of bug occuring in the game such as being unable to sell or buy in a trading hub sometimes, autopilot shutting off for no reason, when I attempt to order an item from market, I cannot access regional delivery without it crashing my game, the only way i can use the regional delivery is when it has already been picked by the system. The game is full of problems. Sometimes its just better to make the game simple than the original.

  18. Andres Ruiz-avatar

This game it's massive. I like the idea. The universe, and the gameplay. What I don't like it's that it it's not casual friendly. There its no enough information to all the taps and thing you can do, the P2P systems Sucks at the points that it exclude interaction between corps members if I don't pay I can't contribute directly to the corp. You need to understand the balance between s mobile game and a pc game or console. Mobile mean you are doing your every day life in between some sessions.

  19. Lou R.-avatar

    Lou R.

Could have been fun, but after they removed the already-neutered market functionality, it's just a flaming hot piece of garbage that demands you pay to play. A total insult to what EVE is, get yourself a PC or play a different mobile game. I'd give it negative stars if that were possible, but sadly one is the lowest it goes. For those of you who want details, alphas had limited market access at about one market per system. Now all market transactions require omega unless you're in highsec. Awful

  20. Curtis Kaulback-avatar

    Curtis Kaulback

Wasn't sure about this one when I started, never played the PC version of EVE but it seems like my type of game. Echoes is too high maintenance to play on the go, you best have free time to stare at your phone if you start this up. I enjoyed early game but I read it's very P2W late game. I played a few days a week, didn't get that far but still put time in. Then today I opened it to find an update and my progress deleted. So that was pretty cool, at least it made my decision easy, uninstalled.

  21. Douglas Long-avatar

    Douglas Long

Fun game with depth but not designed for a mobile experience. This game is a port from a PC game and it shows. There is a lot of travel time where you just sit and stare at the screen and it is core to the gameplay but terrible for short bursts of play on a cell phone. Don't play this game to have fun in short periods of time.

  22. Charles Wilson-avatar

    Charles Wilson

This game is great. My only issue is that high security systems get crowded too easily and the warp gates get shut down, preventing you from being able to go anywhere. That is the only reason I am giving this game a low rating. Once the server capacity for each system is raised so this stops, then I will make this 5 stars and edit it accordingly.

  23. Corey Matthews-avatar

    Corey Matthews

Really good graphics, enjoyable for the most part, PAY TO WIN Problem is lack of support. Had a glitch, a notification window that kept popping up while I was getting PvP attacked. Dev said sorry, "thanks for understanding" Glad I hadn't put real money into the game, 2 more days and they'd have gotten some.

  24. Chris-avatar

I would give 0/5 stars just for Netease's disrespectful copy-paste reponses.. Game forces you into PVP if you want to make progress. No "high" level content in safe areas. Fleets camp and use exploits to be able to kill you when travelling, if you dare enter low security zones. Security measures (gate sentry guns) do not work and ppl can do as they please. Avoid this game for now, until they offer normal players content they can play on their mobile phones without being threatened by try-hards.

  25. Donovan Spinler-avatar

    Donovan Spinler

I enjoyed this game up until they allowed gate camping with players taking advantage of the known bugs. Don't bother even trying to recover your ship as it is deemed "regular pvp" when your auto warping in low sec on a MOBILE GAME. This game started off great and has since went down how the main game is.... Just not worth playing it without a laptop or desktop and not be "AFK Flying" around.

  26. Brandon H-avatar

Don't be fooled. You have to pay, at least at first, to be relevant. All the best skills, ships, and functions are locked behind a paywall. You can buy a "membership" with in game currency, but it could take months earn, since others can get to of clearing out asteroid belts in one sitting via paying. As time goes on, your pickings will be more slim, and competition will get more ruthless. It will get to "pay to compete", just with a better skin and mechanics. See Mobile Strike.

  27. Alexander Johnson-avatar

The game is ok I give 2 stars because plex costs too much and even then the price is never the same it's always more than the average price premium currency shouldn't even have to be picked up at stations you should just be able to buy it for its price and it will be immediately transferred to your wallet and should only cost 20000 at least, same thing with neuroscience chips they should just be there average price and also. STOP WITH P2W, LESS PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME IF IT'S P2W!!!

  28. Vlad Munteanu-avatar

    Vlad Munteanu

One of the best games I ever played. Since the bug fix with autopilot tho, I feel that things have become too much like Eve Online, and I never could get into it because it was too hardcore. The same thing will happen here if AFK autopilot is not possible. This is a mobile game, so think about the battery too if you want to have people play it.

  29. Seth Wright-avatar

Amazing game! If you have lots of time to play. I am a casual player, making slow progress, but still having fun. There is a lot of PvP, which is not good for people that just want to play. You definitely need to pay the subscription price to be competitive, but by no means is this a pay to win game.... Everyone can, and will be destroyed. The best bet is to get in with a good sized corporation and participate in group activity. Overall, this is the best game I have played on a mobile device

I was so excited when I found out about this game. I love Eve but I don't have time for it on PC so a mobile alternative sounded amazing. However the congestion at Stargates makes it nearly unplayable. I would like to get back to my base, but it is nearly impossible because every Stargate is blocked due to heavy traffic. Very annoying mechanic.

  31. Matthew Cline-avatar

    Matthew Cline

Okay game, a lot of fun at first. Then the reality sets in that all they care about is their small percentage of super hardcore players, which ruins the gameplay for the majority of players. Development seems to forget time and time again that this is a mobile game, and not a PC game. To do more than anything super basic in the high security areas, you need to download the game on your computer via an emulator. And it will absolutely require groups of players to make much progress.

Update. Any time you flying autopilot and someone calls you, sms, mms, skype, whatsup, discord, whatever, and you just look for 1 sec, game throws you from it, and you reconnecting, reconnecting.. close game and try to reconnect. At this time, even if you programmer himself, you just get killed, nomatter what, because you on autopilote 🤦‍♂️ It really works as intented? ...

  33. Ken-avatar

Fun game, was a good start. I wanted something like Eve online but not as intensive and this fits the bill being a mobile game. Some people don't have all day staring at their screens. But with the new update I'm force to watch my screen all day in order to not lose my ship. This is a mobile game, if I wanted to play on my pc I would've done Eve online. The developers need to stop listening to people trying to make it like Eve Online2. Mobile games have a different player base and a wider audience they can target. Lets see how future updates shape this game

  34. christian lewis-avatar

The game is fun but the pay to play mechanics break the game. As an example: I played during beta, and have played on pc. In both of those versions *when I last played* allowed you to sell refined ore at any station. In this release, that is not present. Instead you can only sell items at a neutral station, a place where any player with a well equipped ship could easily destroy your ship. Choosing to trade is so heavily limited now, its just another pay to play system. SMH

  35. Enrique Limon-avatar

    Enrique Limon

Horrible in-game support experience: 1. I lost items in the station inventory due to an in-game bug and submitted a ticket about it. 2. I got a response stating that their technical team was advised about it but no mention about my items being recovered. 3. I submitted another ticket as a follow up (yes, you can't reply to a ticket and need to raise another ticket as a reply O_O) to ask if they would recover my items. 4. I got a totally irrelevant response! 5. I quit the game. Wasted IRL money

  36. Zaphod beeblebrox-avatar

This has a long way to go before it can be considered a good mobile experience. This is not a F2P game. Many high level ships, equipment and skills are paywalled behind a subscription cost. It suffers the same problems as the PC version: long travel times, it can easily take 15-20mins to do a short trip, it's full of try hards and greifers, it's complex with poor tutorials, expect to lose hours of grinding through being ganked or from game bugs. Co-op required. After a month it's already 4.3gigs

  37. jdaniel Dulos-avatar

    jdaniel Dulos

So far it's been fun. Met a lot of peeps who became my corps. Grindy? Yes but it's casual enough to where I can devote my time somewhere else or while multitasking. New players seem to not have the patience to learn the game or read in-game tutorials, or that it is p2w. Literally your robot assistant is there to teach you how to get around the UI. Also, it is not pay to win. Everything is free. It only becomes p2w if you don't want to invest time and commitment. Please learn before you complain.

Too many alt player camping at the gate. It give me trouble because i need to jump manually to get through that stargate.... After the update i always get atck at the gate while im doin my looonggg jump to get to the destination while im offline. This is only a mobile game not a pc game. Ive collect the ores for a week to make a cruise and get it blow by some stupid player camping at the gate while im off9. So not worth it. Worst experience ever.

  39. Richard Neal-avatar

Was good until the recent update. You could autopilot without being killed, agree this needed some change but now due to another big it allows you to be killed instantly in low sec at gates and stations without any risk to the other players. Also because of this, everyone stays to safe routes which means everywhere is congested and it can take hours to get anywhere meaning times tasks aren't possible to complete No communication from netease about it at all

  40. Ron Blackman-avatar

This game is very much like Eve Online, however, if you don't pay for an Omega clone, you can't participate in the economy of the game. The Market sales, Contracts and other potential earning methods are locked if you don't have the Omega clone. This severely limits advancement in the game.

  41. Ben Sanger-avatar

You might notice there isn't much of an explanation on the $15 monthly subscription. That's because you need it to be competitive. No tier 8, 9 or 10 anything without a monthly subscription. Oh and trading is even limited without it then their is contracts and training speed.. other than that fun game if you're willing to spare $15 a month

  42. Joshua Johns-avatar

    Joshua Johns

Despite what others say, this game is not P2W. Absolutely everything can be bought with ingame currency so long as you are successful in game. Time in game Absolutely equates to how successful you can be. This is not a casual game. You will not be able to compete if you only play a few times a week, at least not in the more lucrative areas. Skill training is the only thing that is permanent, don't waste real money on in game currency.

Feels like a beta but otherwise lots of fun. I once heard Eve Online was a whaling paradise of griefers, trolls and gankers. I think many of the rejects from EO are in EE which is quite amusing. A couple more years polishing a horribly clunky interface and adding some features like text search for ship name would go a long way to making it somewhat less excrutiating, but the interface is, in fact, a deranged psychopath from a UIX haters convention.

Let me start out by saying I'm a longtime Eve Online veteran REALLY wish I could recommend this game as a sort of "Eve Lite" experience on the go. Unfortunately, despite a solid base concept and strong IP, there are some serious issues in the game right now. Most notably, you can be automatically banned for up to a week without warning or any recourse if enough players in a system (eg: from an opposing alliance) report you. Time will tell if NetEase can salvage this messy launch...

A great game destroyed by bad company standards. Server capacity can't handle population. Unplayable half the day. Hours at clogged gates unable to move due to farming bots that overpopulate the system. Mostly by f2p illegal farmers. Not to mention MASSIVE censorship from the chinese game company, you CAN'T TYPE ANYTHING. Even "Noob" is censored. About to stop playing. After spending $250 since launch. Unplayable. Rumors going around you get banned for pking bot farmers. Ruining a great MMO.

The player base is extremely toxic. There is a ton of rage in chat and a lot of playesr out to ruin your experience for their own enjoyment. The system is also bogged down by the number of players and you get stuck in space traffic jams. The game itself is extremely well done, the controlls are good, graphics are amazing, and game mechanics are fantastic. Overall it's been a poor experience and I'm avoiding this one due to its toxic player base. If you like rage fueled gameplay it's great.

Autopilot is broken, loads of gate campers. Lost my second ship now due to it. Ticket system is terrible as you have to open a new ticket everytime something happens. It was good at first. What happened then was you people made a mobile game into something only highly competitive and skilled players can enjoy. I can understand an eve game takes a lot to play still this is a mobile game. I've invested a bit of money in it already and I feel it's frustrating that I can't jump a few systems without getting blown up.

Pretty good but please fix some of the mechanics of your game, I got stuck in a wall while my ship was trying to warp out just to get killed seconds later by a player who entered the anomaly I was in. I lost all my hard work just because my ship was stuck in a "warp drive" while being stationary inside a wall with me not being able to do anything to change that. And is not even the first time it happened.

I had really high expectations because Eve online is so good, but it feels like a thumbnail version of the full game concept without a unique aspect. I hoped for a change of perspective to better suit mobile devices, like cockpit flying, more involved personal interaction (and you can't even customise your character after selecting a pre made one which is disappointing ) it's a big let down because there's a lot of potential to have made it really good, but it is not made with a new vision.

Loved it, left it. Don't get me wrong here I really loved this game, I was a fan of eve online years ago and this makes a fantastic port. But I also don't play like I used to. I don't have the time to sit here eyes glued to the screen for hours. Plus the player base sucks, any time you start building up an empire someone will knock it down and general for no gain. If your casual this is not for you. Better suited for bot fans and people who'd probably be better suited playing eve online.

I already wrote a review but its missing so this is a brief adaption. Great graphics a sound. Excellent voice talent. Highly recommend this. Only one issue. During tutorials....wish I wasn't attacked. Developers look after the game and reply to emails. Discord has excellent help page. I've played a week or so...made good friends and alliances. Give it few days and don't give up. This is free to play other options available. I love it

Good game. They resolved a critical game flaw relatively quickly. Lots of content and complexity. Edit: once again, there are players exploiting the game and making it unplayable. Any travel though a "low" security system is the same as zero security due to the sentries not doing what they are supposed to.

Had potential as a possibly more casual version of EVE Online, but the intent of the developers is clearly to cater to a hardcore crowd who want to be glued to their phones for hours to play beyond the bare basics. Most of it seems inscrutable to anyone who didn't already play EVE Online, so at least I had that going for me. I pity any players brand new to EVE. I tried, but after playing beta and then experiencing it in the first month or so of launch, hard pass here.

Almost unplayable currently. Jump gates are constantly closed due to traffic in high sec and people exploiting game breaking bugs to gate camp and kill in low sec with no repercussions. How can you travel if both low sec and high sec is untravelable??? Unacceptable. As a paying customer I will not put anymore money in until this is resolved. I will update my post if things change.

This game has potential but the developers appear intent upon preserving some of the worst aspects of Eve Online like the shooting-fish-in-a-barrel "pvp" known as gate-camping. The in-game defenses in the low-security space are circumvented with ease. The Eve veterans are hostile and toxic to anyone that dare point out that this is a bad game design and quite simply unfun. As of this writing, I can not recommend this game unless you are willing to devote large chunks of time doing nothing but waiting to get from one point to another all the while running the chance that you will come upon one of these groups and have your ship blown up near instantly with no defense and no recourse.

I played this for a month and this is my review: The good: Excellent graphics, complexity, and gameplay. The bad: there is a heavily penalizing paywall(locked out for a majority of the content), bots constantly wanting to trade money for ingame currency and being present in game, and some crowding issues(not a big problem) Overall: I did the paid service for a month and had a great time. But when it expired I got blocked out of so much of what I got from it. Due to review limit I can't say more

Really only worth your time if you are into a massively toxic audience. There is almost nothing you can do of value that doesn't require constantly looking at your phone for hours on end. Players only focus on cheap methods of progression, which means it is entirely solo unfriendly. You can't mine without constantly being pk'd every few minutes because of how easy a target you are (there's pretty much no punishment for it since folks can't insure/replace ships and are afraid to lose time investment). Gate camps provide an unexpected and unavoidable thing. Basically, if you had any intention of playing casually or developing in the game you have to basically do what you'd do on eve online, play with a group for an expanded period of time, at which point you ask: why am I doing this on a phone then? 2 stars because graphically its great, and the interface is fantastic

I really enjoyed the game at first. Spent a ton of time do quests and mining till I finally got a decent ship and was going to pick up last item and got kill going through a gate in low security. They used a bug to make it so they could kill anybody coming in and no one is doing anything about it. Don't waste your time on this game it's full of mean people who will do anything they can just to destroy your ship and you can lose everything at any time and all your work is gone.

I wanted to like this one given i really like Eve online but theres too much wrong in this. Some major things are missing which i think will be added later but thats not even the big issue. The spammers are horrendous, the cost of things is disgusting, missions do not pay out at all. And to nerf income in high sec was a serious mistake. And thats not to mention the graphical issues and the bugs. Theres much more but not enough room to write. Id steer clear of this until something changes.

AVOID THIS GAME. Many hours played, 100's of millions of Isk made. Starts out good, but at some point you will lose ships due to game bugs. New bugs/exploits seem to be implemented every patch. The devs know the bugs exist and publicly say they'll help, but they don't. They won't answer questions either, just scripted rejections when you submit detailed reports of problems. AVOID THIS GAME unless you have thousands of RL dollars to throw at it, and won't mind losing due to no fault of your own.

  62. Dromi-avatar

It was fun for a while but the game isn't quite sure of it's identity. It started out as a more casual mobile Eve but has turned into a game that requires playing multiple accounts with an emulator or having someone on voice chat scouting for you anytime you leave high sec. That is just not at all what I want from a mobile game lol, it was fun getting back to Eve for a while though.

I'd give this game 5 stars, except, gate turrets are exploited, as a result gatecamps rampant in assumed safe systems have lead to huge losses for alot of players. In the meantime their customerservice declines ship replacements calling it "loss in normal pvp battle", on the very same day their devs release a hotfix to adress gatecamps getting out of hand. Why play a game if weeks of work can randomly be deleted by exploiters and then they call it "normal pvp battle"? Big waste of time.

Was fun at first. But a recent update ruined the game for me. Story missions were soloable but you had to be very careful but now they are impossible to solo. I play a majority of the time solo. So now I have to grind low level missions which got boring extremely fast. So there is just no fun left in this game for me anymore.

If you want a game that full of surprise and gives a reason to use your brain for once lol and still have a blast with friends then this is the game for you...it ain't easy but it's worth it and enjoyable from the beginning. And the devs really do listen to the players something you don't find on any other game. And they ain't all about money making.

Literally got killed while auto piloting somewhere. Pretty dumb. Not fun waiting around hours to get through a gate either. Cool game for a month, now I hate it. Feels like wasted time and money. This game is the definition of pay to play/win. Either pay $ or grind for weeks to get on even playing field with someone who paid. Buy chips or plex for as much isk as your $ can buy. Lost multiple ships due to lag or bugs. Only one was replaced without modules/rigs.…¿This game has HUGE issues. 1. Once you buy/build a T4 or higher (expensive) ship you can't insure it. 2. Say goodbye to your modules that cost more than your ship, if it is destroyed. 3. You can't learn (or use learned) advanced skills or sell items freely unless you buy (monthly) the omega clones. 4. Terrible customer service - mostly bot responses 5. "Designed" as a pay to win. STAY AWAY! I'm uninstalling.

  71. Shrader01-avatar

The game is a lot of fun and the graphics are amazing. Unfortunately the developers make HUGE changes and struggle to understand the mobile game space at times, but I believe in them. There is real potential here and the game feels alive in a way that few games ever achieve. Dont fly what you cant afford to lose, be careful and I mean real careful in null, and grind the encounters until your bankroll is right and you'll have a great time. Finally, find a good corp...a good corp is everything.

  72. K3NMA-avatar

Originally gave this game 5 stars as a solo player. However, I hav come to the sad realization that this game is not geared towards solo play. Sure as an omega u may enjoy it, but even then it not a casual game. As an alpha u are held back and restricted. Even if u join a corp you can't trade in null sec where the base is. You miss out as an alpha and that's not gona hold an player base for very long. At least not a welcoming one.

The game itself is okay but after playing for a month I feel like the game is just trying to force me into paying for an omega account. This is done by introducing several pay walls in the game which restricts what you can do as a free player, and even though there is not a big difference in the beginning, you will eventually reach a point where it is impossible to compete with any person who is paying for the game even if you spend several times the amount of time they do. It's depressing. =(

Has netease pulled off Eve on mobile? Yes. This game has issues. High-sec is congested as all hell, the market is wonky and cumbersome, and some things are still in development and causing balance issues. But I can play Eve on my phone. I don't think this is an Eve tailored to mobile gaming. Beyond the excellent mobile UI, and some simplified mechanics, they haven't really taken steps to change the gameplay. I like that decision. Others don't.

I don't know how this compares to EO, but EE is a great looking game. Visuals are stunning and audio is great. Huge minuses are that 2/3rds of the game is locked behind a paywall (upgrades, pilotable ships, equipment, etc.). For free players, it quickly becomes evident that dedicated progression simply cannot take you past this hurdle without treating it like a job (earn ISK, buy premium currency, purchase basic subscription=a lot of time). I like the bones, but the paywall system is not for me.

They lost a paying customer due to poor staff. Good game, but totally let down by unsupportive staff and glitches. I pressed autopilot and got the notification that I was confirmed in autopilot with no other people in the system (not gate camped). Staff said they would replace my ship but not the modules as it was a glitch of the game. Later they informed me they would not even replace my ship as it would be "unfair." Unfair is when your ship is destroyed by a game glitch.

Absolutely Pay to win mobile games. I have subscribed the omega plan for water testing during new launch and discontinued the subscription after it ended. All the Advanced and expert skills I have unlocked and trained for many hours now blocked, and now I'm not be able to benefit the omega skills that I've trained. It's all returned to basic skills. Never played an eve game before, I was excited for this and pre-registered months ago. I tried soo hard to love this game and just couldn't. I think they did what they could on mobile, and it IS a work of art and GOOD game, I just couldn't get hooked as hard as I tried. Missions are very rinse and repeat, there isn't a whole lot of direction on what to do, so as a casual player who has 5 minutes to hop on, it isn't doable. I can definitely see this having a dedicated following though.

If u want to compete at highest level, of course u need to spend (what game doesn't) (fyi i dont need to be at top). Am i a hardcore gamer...no! Keep it up... dont cater to the masses.

As usual, could go for a month before they broke the game with an update that makes no sense. Jumping through a gate now throws you into a few seconds state where you can't do anything and obviously people are taking advantage of that to blow up all ships, + they are using gate bugs to avoid getting killed. Not worth playing until they figure out how to patch their bugs.

The game is pretty good, latency can be a issue and there are some minor weird bugs. The devs and customer support are pretty active to help out and keep developing. My main issue for it not going to 5 stars is just because their is no sovereignty in this game. That wouldn't be a big issue, but when you have corps/players gate camping because you can tag and stop a person mid warp right on the gate is dumb. We are having issues of people control all the sectors of entrance and exits of the gate

The allure of playing EVE on mobile was what drew me in. The actual experience however, is FAR from CCPs EVE. This feels more like this was bought and rebranded by EA. 1. Ads for items that *should* be available for in-game currency (but are only for exorbitant real world amounts) are abundant. 2. Network connections consistently fail - appalling for CCP. 3. Progression locking, unless of course, you buy the Omega (premium) status. China is that you? Dont bother with this game.

Incredibly deep gameplay that rewards strategy more than reflexes. This game had promises, now it's just garbage. They ruined the safety and the point of autopilot with the update, now you have to stare at your screen for an entire 30 jumps because you can easily be blown up at any gate. Player based economy now means everything is way too expensive beyond reason. Its the worst game mechanic that has ever plagued space MMOs.... Also it forces players to stay high sec, but the servers cant take it so u get long waiting times to enter systems. Buggy as hell. Marketing this as a working game is nothing short of criminal atm (Thanks for the replie. You have people currently opening account just to leave ships hanging in space to block access to Jita. Far too expensive at $20 a month. Skills take literal days to level up (62 hours). Travelling anywhere is just staring at the warping screen and can take 15 mins easily. However, recently (9.9.2020) they changed a game mechanic that may make it very difficult for casual players. They're really ought to rethink how they've implemented this change for the sake of the casual player they were originally marketing this game towards.

Extremely unstable and not made well; Runs below 30fps, controls and buttons feels unresponsive, needs constant restart to play, janky UI, underwhelming star chart and market UI etc Gameplay itself is pretty passive too, you're not really piloting a space craft, it's more like you're telling it what to do and going afk to train skills

This Game Is Good And Have Potential But It's Not Made For Mobile Players, This Game Is Not Free To Play, Also You Have To Pay To Get The Basic Things To Do, Even If You Want To Progress You Have To Pay, This Game Was Nice But Now It's Totally A Waste Of Time, Why People Will Play This Game When There Are Other Better Free To Play games...

Good port of the original. Unfortunately its not a casual game. If you don't invest time and possibly money your going to struggle and if you play solo pve its probably not going to work for you eg killed by players while your not actually playing. If this changed I would recommend.

Overall it's a fun game always been a fan of the Online version and this just makes it easier to enjoy on the go. There are a some bugs that need to be worked out, but this is the first non pay to win game that actually isn't pay to win there's no easy AFK in the game and you're a top player, you actually have to put effort and make wise decisions to succeed. Finally a MOBILE game that isn't a waste of my time.

I understand that the mobile version of EVE is simpler, but should it be? I was really hoping for more indepth gameing. I played EVE online, dust 514 (favorite), and the two VR games on the ps4 aswell. I dont have good enough internet at my house to play the p.c. version so the mobile version was something I was really looking forward to. Most of the core game is there but it seems empty. I'm still playing it would just like to see a none causel mobile game, lol. Please add more detail. :)

The search function for star systems does not work. Period. Nothing. There is zero information given or offered about parts in the market. Meaning you have to spend money on things to find out if they work. And then TRY to sell things in the market. Which to do that, you need to sell at a loss, it otherwise just sits there and expires. Training new skills is a little painful but not the end of the world. Game over trains some things and nothing on others.

Played since it launched. Its ok at first but when you die you pay 3hr of active time income to fix your ship. If it lets you fix the ship. If you kill another player you get next to nothing vs what it just cost them to repair only 1 a mil if you are new (takes a few day to make a mil) The risk rewards ratio is way off. Sure its exciting to gamble but not with my time. 2 stars till risk reward makes any sence

Poor customer service. And i can see this one dieing in few months just because of the humongous skill gap between p2w and f2p players. Plex will be untouchable in the market after a month or two for f2p players. And with no plex, no omega, and without omega a player just can't compete with a player who has it. You could at least put the skill system out of this omega thing, but since its not, there will be no point of playing this as an f2p player after two months.

change my review 4 to 1 , game is hardly playable , the moment dev tryin to clone EO to EE game basically ended . mobile gamin is intended for swing , not full time where you need to watch screen doin 30j and end up podded. If can retain item and ship , sure why not , but here your progress is gone , heck you can even lost a 500mill ship in 5mins. also ignoring the fact how harsh mobile market competition is , everything already in ruin , damage is done. not mentioning theres hyped game comin up

The fact that they went subscription on a mobile game instead of micro transactions I hate. Many people I know will quit or not play this game because of that. Also this game was meant to be for newer players but clearly the veterans of eve online shaped this game how they wanted it. Like many of my friends say simplier is better but I wish it good luck for its player base. You travel 90% of your time in gane and play 10% it isn't mobile friendly at all. I don't recommend this game at all.

Excellent game but a rare case of over-improving a game. I already had to invest a lot of time once I sat down to play and now with scraming while autopilot update, it's a dead case for me. Can't sit for so long doing essentially nothing but being careful against those emulator players with their alts. This is not a mobile game anymore, one that you could leave if something came up IRL. Also the server sucks. I close the game for once and have to spend 2mins to get back online. A newbie EE player

I lost a month worth of ingame currency due to a glitch, after contacting customer support. I was told they simply aren't interested in replacing my lost items. I logged off in a safe location, about 20 minutes later recieved a text stating my character had reached his destination ( but I had no destination I was docked and safe. ) when I finally had the opportunity to check my phone I was nothing more than a pile of wreckage sitting in space, Customer support does NOT care. I was very excited to get to play a mobile version of Eve, and everything has been pretty good. I like the combat, the mining and progression. The only reason that I didn't give five stars is that there doesn't seem to be a way to save navigation points. For example if you gind a system that has resources you want or a type of enemy you prefer, the only way to "save" that area is by leaving an item behind and checking your assets afterwards. Not the most efficient system.

The game screen is always "too big". A portion of the screen/controls are always missing and you can't adjust them in game. A lot of the basic features you have you to pay for. Overall not bad but needs some bugs fixed and improved.

The game is pretty hard on new players but if you're looking for a good mobile MMO with a ton of content that's not pay to win, this is your game. Really recommend watching YouTube tutorials and suggestions because the game doesn't explain a lot of things. Also make sure to join a corp, it makes progressing easier and provides you guidance and more fun stuff to do together.

The game was fun it sent me back to my younger days when I played Eve for the first time and then it came to a screeching halt I have loaded up my Venture trainer that I just gotten it was my only second load to take to the mining Reserve in a message pops up that I have to buy Plex in order to sell material in game. I was really enjoying the game until I had come across that won't be playing again until they fix it

Great concept, poorly implemented. The only thing worse than the coding seems to be the customer service. They openly admit there are problems and claim they will help you, but they don't. They give the same exact response every time, letter for letter. They will not answer questions or show any kind of human interaction, leading me to suspect they've automated the process. Edit: If your suggestion worked, I wouldn't be posting this in the first place.

The game is EVE, but with a few modifications to make things smoother. And it plays great. My one gripe is with putting in a support ticket. I asked a question about currency (Is the price in my shop on CAD or USD) and got a reply back talking about connectivity issues. Did they even read what I sent? Also you can't reply to their response, you have to submit a new ticket. Luckily I figured out a different way to answer my question. But yea. Be aware.

Every single 1 star review, are people that don't understand the game. Bitter for losing stuff, or angry because they can't read instructions. This is an amazing game, there's no pay2win, you can succeed without spending money. It's not a casual game, be wildly successful, and dead broke, in an instant. Or play it careful and build slow and steady

Poor customer service, not mobile friendly since the recent patch. Requested a refund after I'd renewed my pilots license which conveniently reminded me just before the patch that made auto/piloting long distance no longer optional. I rather than them just removing the pilots license they have now removed a purchasable currency in game giving me a negative balance and sent a threatening email to my inbox "we sincerely suggest you had better recharge back to a positive balance" Unacceptable!

It's a good game. And it will take some time to reach the peak of its glory. The new patch had some good fixes however the game seems to have some kind of lag while using the stargate and the overview. Excluding these, the game is totally fun to play with friends and create a new history of our own. Edit: if u could voice chat into the game it would be helpful to boost the amount of fun in the game.

The developers did something amazing. They took a full MMO, streamlined it, and made it actually work on a mobile device. Some are complaing the game is behind a paywall. I didn't really find that. Yes there are things you can pay for. But lets be honest, this is a full game and the developers need to make money some how.

Almost unplayable game. Both of the last 2 updates have made the game almost no fun to play at all. The first one made travel difficult as hell, and the second one introduced bugs everywhere. My corp alone has found 3. Not only that but their customer service prefers to let cheaters run rampent while honest players gets screwed over because of god knows what.

You can't use the vast majority of features without a subscription. Deliveries, the only way to make money offline, broken for close to 2 weeks now. Have to manually go through 40+ packages at every station instead of the mass deliver prompt actually working. Huge chore. Customer service slow and ineffective, yet I have a pop-up for a $45 in-app purchase that won't go away despite selecting Do Not Show Again ten times. Mail every day for 10 days reminding me to renew my subscription. I won't.

This game was everything you could hope for I'm an eve game. Then they added warp disruptors changes that allows you to stop someone autopiloting dead in their tracks... This is no longer a mobile friendly game, it requires time, dedication and focus. It's Eve Online... Not a mobile friendly space sim.

It's a great game. But I really don't see how this fits into being a mobile game. Had to spend so much time getting good level ships since I'm a free to play player only to have it blown to bits by a gate camp. Unless we spend a lot for the omega clones and time. Not worth the effort.

Still unstable, buggy and has bots issues. NetEase is solving spam bot issue and has some success. Farm/harvest bots are still issue. It seems NetEase is trying, thank you for that. Still has design issues related to mobile platform and how MMO should work. Get more than 700 players in one star system and things goes sideways.

NetEase, try to understand that it's a mobile game. Please for god's sake, don't make it a carbon copy of eve online, which it seems you are trying your heart and soul to do. Keep some things for casual players if you really wish it to be a mobile game, not a mobile view of a PC game.

Good game. Would have given more stars but I think is still a little buggy. If you strip ships off all the modules and leave them in the station while you take another ship out for a spin, when you are back, the ship which you stripped disappeared from inventory. Not in dock and not in station. I lost 2 ships like that. So do not strip ships till they have 0 modules and leave them unattended in stations. And this game is forcing players to pay to play. The trading system is confusing too.

Good fun, too many bugs, really bad customer support - latest patch dropped with persistant warp issues and freezes, there is bug abuse to target and destroy you before you load in a system on your device (but visible to others in local). Customer Support dont want to know. Avoid.

I am a 2 year 0.0 veteran from Eve online, was excited to see it being revived. Day 1: Cognitive NeuroS must have skill, can only be purchased. 5 Descriptions mislead you to purchase 5x. You only need 1. Day 2: Stuck in 1 area, over population locked movement, redicuolous lag, players defrauding players due to contracts not loading properly cost me 30m ISk. Customer service limits tickets to 200 char, responses are pre-made, nothing done in both instances. Game is in infancy, needs work.

Enjoyable, however, I just went back to my pc, I like having more control over my environment and it's easier to respond to different situations on pc. When a zerg appears on your phone, it can lag, and using your fingers is just not efficient. Had a good run though.

As video games move into the mobile market, we begin to see intensive gameplay offered to gamers unable to afford a good PC or console. Eve Echoes offers mobile players a chance to experience the gaming experience of EO... This game requires your attention!!! Tips: Use Reddit/Wiki/Google for info. Join a corp. Check out YT how to videos. Hang in there. Be patient. THIS ISN'T CANDY CRUSH.

Game would be great if you ban bots, so people could travel in the game since you are no longer safe to ask jump. I mean I have enjoy so much sitting at my screen looking at all the bots around a gate because the next system and the next system is close due to heavy traffic.
