No ano de 2003, inspirado pela Exortação Apostólica do Papa João Paulo II, Pastores Dabo Vobis (1992), Padre Reginaldo Manzotti sentiu em seu coração o desejo de iniciar um projeto evangelizador que atendesse ao apelo do Pontífice: uma nova evangelização, com “novo ardor e novos métodos”. Em 2004, o projeto começa a prosperar com a possibilidade de evangelização pelos meios de comunicação, com o programa “Experiência de Deus”, na Rádio Clube AM, em Curitiba. No ano de 2005, o projeto se consolida e é fundada a Associação Evangelizar É Preciso, que, depois de 13 anos, em uma nova fase de amadurecimento do trabalho, passou a se chamar apenas Associação Evangelizar.
A Obra é uma instituição sem fins lucrativos, mantida por meio da contribuição de cada associado, e atua com o propósito de evangelizar a todos pelos meios de comunicação por meio da Palavra, da oração e do serviço: a Boa-Nova, fortalecendo a fé e a esperança de todas as pessoas. A Evangelizar conta com o apoio da Arquidiocese de Curitiba, abraçou a devoção a Jesus das Santas Chagas e é abençoada por Nossa Senhora do Carmo, madrinha da Obra, São Pio de Pietrelcina e São José. 
É considerada benfeitora, pois oferece conteúdo gratuito pelos meios de comunicação para todo o Brasil e outros países, além de realizar anualmente diversos eventos evangelizadores em todas as regiões do País. A TV Evangelizar conta com programação jornalística, católica, cultural e
informativa 24 horas por dia. As frequências AM e FM, além das melhores músicas católicas, têm suas pautas jornalísticas trabalhadas com foco em informações, assuntos religiosos, prestação de contas e muito mais. A Associação também tem crescido cada vez mais pelas redes sociais, como
Instagram, Facebook e YouTube, oferecendo conteúdo de fé para as famílias. 
A partir do pilar de Responsabilidade Social, em 2018, conseguimos atender gratuitamente e levar doações a mais de 160 mil pessoas e ainda realizar atendimentos jurídicos, psicológicos e parapsicológicos, além de atendimentos sociais diversos.

In 2004, the project begins to thrive with the possibility of evangelization through the media, with the program “Experience of God”, at Rádio Clube AM, in Curitiba. In 2005, the project is consolidated and the Evangelize Is Precise Association is founded, which, after 13 years, in a new phase of work maturation, was renamed only Evangelize Association.
The Work is a non-profit institution, sustained through the contribution of each member, and its purpose is to evangelize everyone through the media through the Word, prayer and service: the Good News, strengthening the faith. and the hope of all people. Evangelizar has the support of the Archdiocese of Curitiba, has embraced the devotion to Jesus of the Santas Chagas and is blessed by Our Lady of Carmo, Godmother of the Work, Saint Pius of Pietrelcina and Saint Joseph.
