Was great. Now it's trash. Used to be an amazing app and the only one that worked as good as it did until a week or so ago. Since then it's non functional and bogged down with ad after ad that never lets you close them. Went from trill to trash in 0-60. But it worked while it lasted. I'll delete and look for something else. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GARBAGE!

I was sceptical as to how much difference this would really make but to say I am impressed is an understatement! I use a pair of bose sport earphones and they sounded pretty good standard but this eq really upped the sound quality! much cleaner high end and enough bass to make your eyes shake! (depending on your headphones capability) you can set the app to auto start when you connect devices too! only downside is if you aren't careful you can distort your output but that's on you not the app!

I wasn't looking for a music player however wanted an equalizer for my earphones as the bass was too low, to my surprise poweramp let's you select different eqs for different bluetooth devices which was something I was looking for but never found. Connection is seamless with the correct eq settings (pre selected by me) for both my bluetooth devices. Was more than happy to pay for the full version only for the different eq settings for each of my bluetooth devices. Thank you team poweramp!

This is definitely worth 5 stars. It's an easy to use, versatile, and powerful app that does exactly what I was looking for and more. I love the customized EQ ability since I have multiple earphones (1 bluetooth and one basic, wired set). With Bass EQ I can set the equalizer how I need it to sound for each set, name it, then select those settings easily instead of having to adjust everything each time I change equipment. Plus! If I can have a "car" setting for using BT in my car through my phone!

I've been using Poweramp for many years. Now this app meets all my needs for using an Equalizer in a streaming service. I would request the developer to officially support Amazon Prime Music. With Spotify it works great, but I don't want to do adb hacks for support of other players.

I am very satisfied with this app. More choices are given as far as ways tto listen to the music of my choice.also this is the first app of this kind that also gives headphones as a choice. The quality of sound is wonderful . i cannot think of any complaints or concerns at this time. Thanks for making my music fun to listen to.

Well, I previously rated this app 5-stars before they updated this version with annoying ad's. Ad's that will stop your music in mid-song to play some stupid junk I'm definitely not interested in when I'm "LISTENING" to music. Since when?...did y'all think this was very intelligent to do. Keep this up and you for sure will lose customers. Great job on accomplishing how to ruin an once great app, because it's trash now!

Update: 12/2018: After getting a Pixel 3, I reinstalled the paid version. It no longer works consistently if at all. I emailed the developer with no response, which is why I chose to adjust my review. If they respond and fix, I will re-adjust my review. Previous review: A Bass EQ app that actually works correctly! It does reduce the volume a little when turned on, but all apps I've tried do that. My guess is that's how Android works. The correct method for tuning sound systems is reduce unwanted frequencies instead of boosting certain frequencies. Unfortunately, with only 5 bands of EQ available, the reduction is going to be a lot.

Ok, so I'm too old to play with this stuff! I found the fix for this app cutting off, at least on my Motorola. It was as simple as doing a restart! And so it now rates 5 stars, from me at least. Obviously the developer put lots of thought into the app as it does the job cleanly without an over-abundance of nonsense. Job well done!

Had it for 15 mins and for me, hands-down, is the best eq app I've ever had on any android phone. I had to get the Pro. The rest just savagely cut down the frequencies to compensate and generally drop the volume way too much. Just to echo what someone else said; add profiles that can be saved and used for different setups and it will be perfect.... Oh and a dark mode too😁 Edit: all perceived issues had already been solved.. I just didn't know the work around. Thanks again. Others must know!
