The Sun Ephemeris gives you the accurate position of the sun and the moon at any time for any location on earth. The Sun Ephemeris is ideal for landscape, nature, travel and outdoor photographers. It combined a map-based approach to search for any place on the planet with a compass based approach to easily find the direction of the sunset, sunrise, moonset or moonrise. You can jump from one day to another or from one week to another or use the date time picker to select the date you want. Then you can use the elevation graph to adjust the time within the day. At any time, you can rewind/forward to the current date time which will activate live mode (which follows your phone's clock). 3. I like this, always accurate for me. Use it to work out where the sun is in relation to my position for photography. Easy to use, no real explanations required as relatively simple layout. Great for planning times and dates for future photo expeditions.

Absolutely amazing. I used the app to determin the direction of true North in the bush by looking up the sun's position at certain times. I am installing PV solar and I used the app to show me which trees need to be trimmed, looking at the direction of the sun at sunrise and sunset on the longest day of the year.

This I found easy to learn how to use without extra instructions & so far it's highly fascinating & fun for me, potentially useful. So some features do require paying a couple bucks extra - no problem. But really what I want is a totally ad-free upgrade & (like I've done with many apps already) I'd pay readily way more for an ad-free option (subscription / lifetime / however). Now I may wait to see how these ads go before (maybe, sadly) uninstalling this & then slightly lowering my rating.

I am happy with this app because in a way it helps follow my religion more well. I rated it 2/5 because at 26/06/2021 I just got interested in finding out the astronomical twilight. When I checked it showed N/A. When I clicked it showed me 01/01/1970. We aren't in the 20th century anymore!!!

Takes a little bit to understand the set up. Dont give up on it right away. Touch the sun and moon icons to get rise and set times. Arms show where sun and moon are in the sky vs time.
