Horrid experience! The app works at easily authenticating me for my work email and Teams app. The problem is it makes my OnePlus 8 phone horribly unstable. My phone crashes every 15 minutes. I couldn't figure out what was happening for months. I hard reset my phone multiple times and restored from back up and the problem was still there. Finally had to replace the phone and then installed apps one by one. Got to Entrust and everything's back to broke.

UPDATE: I purchased a new phone (Galaxy A31) and was hoping I would not get the "unsecured device" message. But this app still IS UNUSABLE. I'm using the stock ROM (Android 11) and have not rooted the phone. Still says it is an "unsecured device". Not recommended for Android users! FROM AUG-2020: Stopped working. For almost 10 months I used this app with my bank account to secure transfers without any problems. However, all of a sudden about 3 weeks ago it stopped working, giving an error message saying it could not be enabled because it "cannot be used on an unsecured device". I use it on a Samsung S7 with stock Android. I made no alterations to the phone before it decided my device was now unsecure. When I contact IdentityGuard via online chat, I was told it was due to an update of Android, and that the bank would be the one to have to allow "unsecurd device". When I went to my bank, which then contacted their IT department. They indicated that this information was not correct, but they could not address the problem either. I then dug deeper and noticed my Android had not updated for over a year, so the problem with Entrust was not caused by that. I then decided to upgrade the Android on my phone from version 7.0 to 8.0, using stock Samsung firmware for my device. But the Entrust app still fails, saying that it cannot be used on an unsecured device. I see many others have started to have similar problems. Since it no longer works, I give it one star.

I'm sure the new update is better somehow, but the app was removed from my screen and there is no way to put it back. I have to go to the Play store, find it there and click on it to open. Help!!

Generally I am ok with this app but now the appearance changed and the app cannot be found on my home screen - if I want to use it I have to open it via play store. It disappeared on my without notice, I understood there was an update after receiving an email, but now it is a hassle to use. Reinstalling is not really an option, if that would be the suggestion.

I used this for a couple years to log on to my bank account. As of August 6 2020 version 3.5.5.72 no longer works. Its says my device a Samsung S10E is an unsecure device. The device has NOT been rooted. Google needs to remove this app ASAP as I an unable to login to pay my credit card bill so either Google or Entrust is liable for distributing this faulty app!

Editing my previous 1 star review message with more details. I used this app for about 6 months on my rooted OnePlus 5 before upgrading to a stock, unmodified Galaxy Note 10+ where Entrust continued to work for about 6 months. After this most recent update, my Note 10+ is no longer recognized as a secured device resulting an my inability to connect to my work's VPN without jumping through several hurdles. The kicker, however, is that I was able to re-register my rooted OnePlus 5 today.

Terrible! The shortcut disappeared when the software was automatically installed. The work around is to open up the app from the play store. When at the play store it says the app is installed, which is true, but it does not show up anywhere on my android phone.

The app has not disappeared, it was simply renamed to Identity and the icon was changed. I admit it was difficult to find after the update. Fairly simple to use but I preferred the old interface.

App works great, but it is really annoying that I have to sit through the animation to roll over for a new number. Just show the new number, this is the wrong place for clever animations.

App no longer retains information causing me to spend 30 plus min a day on the phone with IT! Emailed the developer and was told to have the company I work for contact them. Not happy with how I was blown off and how this app has now impacted my work performance by requiring me to call IT every time I log in! Fix your app! Its not the company I work for that is having the issue, it's the 3rd party app!!!!!
