Adds a configurable

. And just when you think, such a simple battery bar can display such a crucial information, try plugging in your charger - you'll be amazed by the details of the animation you'll see. The

the current Battery level but also how much has the

The latest update of the App let's Energy Bar feel all privileged as it's now more integrated with the device in the form of an Accessibility Service. To you as an user it means, Energy Bar will be very reliable and fits well with the System. And to complement the integration, a nice UI which let's you perform all sort of configuration on the Bar while it's live on your screen.

Out of the box features:-

✓ Energy Bar can be configured from a width of

to cover the entire status bar

✓ Energy Bar puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level

✓ Energy Bar's origin can be configured as left/center/right

✓ Energy Bar can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)

✓ Energy Bar can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level

✓ Energy Bar could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient

✓ You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration

✓ Energy Bar as a cool pulsating animation whenever a power source is plugged into your device

All that is cool! But what about Energy Bar consuming Battery?!

This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Bar more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? ;) .) Energy Bar sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Bar. Once awake, Energy Bar quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Bar goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

Google Play Reviews

  1. John Chorak-avatar

Very good app; attractive, accurate & out-of-the-way. But I must say, I'm having the exact same issue that the previous reviewer mentioned. I own the Pro version of coarse, but at every reboot the bar defaults to solid green and to re-apply my config' I have to select my account from a pop window and reconfigure the app. Great application, really... let's get some brain on this regressive restart behavior & you'll have your 5 stars. Thanks!

  2. Martyn M-avatar

How on earth can such a reliable App over the years become such a nightmare of late? Sort this settings issue out! I'm fed up having to choose my google account every time I reboot my phone and then set up from scratch. Why doesn't it remember the settings? You claimed this issue was fixed on the last update - It hasn't been resolved at all!

  3. Richard Belthoff-avatar

    Richard Belthoff

I am dropping my review from 5 to 3 because Energy Bar does not retain settings between reboots. I've had to uninstall and reinstall several times. No response to my emails to developer. Otherwise, it still looks great! Update: reboot issue fixed so going back up to 5 stars.

  4. TIMETECH-avatar

Okay, the issue I posted was fixed, all thanks to really great developers behind this tool! I can now strongly suggest anyone to download this app not only because everything is better, the developers are always open any bugs we, the consumer reports, and then changes it as soon as possible! I really love this app

  5. Joshua Spencer-avatar

Been using this app for the past 2 years and it does exactly what it says. Only thing that would improve it is if you added a wrap-around option for phones with notches.

  6. smeths Boi-avatar

i had an issue with having to disable the accessibility and enable it again after reboots to make the energy bar show, huawei p smart, emui 9.1 android, but the dev has fixed it and it's now a five star app 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

  7. Don Givva-avatar

This is my favorite app of all the apps on my Phone. I have used it for years and have enjoyed watching it evolve into the dope app it is now. The only bug I have found is the transparency background button doesn't work on my phone(Samsung Note 9), but it will probably work on yours. Edit: I strongly believe that the thickness meter needs to replace that 'k' with a 'c'. That's a Thiccness Meter, bro.

  8. Angel Valentin-avatar

As a developer you are doing an exceptional job. I use this app. It works flawlessly. I have a suggestion to add more functionality to the app. Why don't you add section indicators 4 battery percentage example 75% it would give an indication at 50 % it will once again turn on instead of constantly being on that could be a secondary option.

  9. Ilan Mejer-avatar

I absolutely love this app and have used it for what feels like forever on my old LG V30. I've since upgraded to an LV V60, which has a camera notch dead-center in the middle of the status bar. It literally bisects the Energy Bar in two. Any chance of getting a generic "Energy Ring" variant that works on devices like the LG V60 that have their camera punch-outs right in the middle of the device? Either way, cheers on your continued support of such a fantastic series of apps. Thank you!

  10. Mike Thompson-avatar

I love this little addon, i really do. Previously had issues with the app staying on screen. But I might have solved thst. On p30 Pro... Going. Settings->accesability features->accesability then on "downloaded services" enable energy bar. I think that solved it, I will update this when I am sure.

  11. Elizabeth Robinson-avatar

    Elizabeth Robinson

After the last update don't work very well with notches ☹️. For me it worked until the last update (appearing in a thinner line below the notch), so it might be due to the new permissions. Kinda sad to see this Edit: I found the option in the developer response and that fixed it 😁. Isn't that's how I had it set before, which is why it was fine for me before the update. Don't know why only that setting changed but do glad.

  12. T B-avatar

Loved it enough to pay for until the new update. I understand that some phones can't use it as the full status bar but the option should still be available for those who's phones can. Had I known that would be taken away I would not have paid for the app. will give five stars if it's updated to fix that

  13. Shaun Beach-avatar

I have used this app for many years having paid for this it was no longer being updated so I switched to another app. Then I noticed it had been updated, however the thickness is limited to 20 instead of 30, but the big thing for me is that I have to keep telling the app it is purchased and then setup it up again. This happens at random times so I am not sure why, the previous version was stable this does not appear to be so for this version. Given up now so I have disabled it as I am fed up resetting it.

  14. Rachel C.-avatar

I do love this app, but I have one problem. I just changed phones and I actually need to manually adjust the height of Energy Bar so everything looks right with the other apps I use. Could you please add this feature for paid users? Thank you.

  15. Fry-avatar

I used to love this app. Reinstalled it today and it doesn't really work on the new version of android. When i open the app to customize it, the google account choosing screen wont go away nomatter how many times I choose an account.

  16. keith mata-avatar

status bar option removed? it worked just fine but the new update says the feature was removed due to restrictions on Android obviously a lie and if I'm wrong then I don't understand why max thickness isn't higher than 20, high enough to cover the whole status bar.

  17. Ria Espina-avatar

Used to love it until they removed the "status bar" bar type.

  18. A. Pro.-avatar

The coolest feature is gone and now I'm reconsidering the entire app. I purchased the pro version a few years back because I loved the functionality, but without the ability to color the status bar itself I'm left wondering if I still want this app at all...

  19. Wayne Loh-avatar

great apps. but only everytime it is deactiavted even set to auto start and set the accessibility to ON. pls advise which version ? thr version i use is EB_6.5.2

  20. Horace Reid-avatar

Great app, simple concept, if you have troubles with this app, you probably have mushy brain 🧠

  21. Joseph Bunn-avatar

Awesome app, always has been, and the developer gets back to yo fast when help is needed

  22. Paul Hodges-avatar

Its ok.Team batterybar was better but it's no longer comparable with current android versions.....

Used to work great but now keeps disappearing everytime I lock my phone

  24. Maxim Zakurdaev-avatar

    Maxim Zakurdaev

Does the job well and is esthetically pleasing.

  25. Steven Mason-avatar

Keeps turning off have to keep restarting it and configuring it

  26. Stephanie Chan-avatar

doesn't work after update. I turned it back on and it just tells me that I didn't turn it on.

  27. DRK HRSE-avatar

Takes no screen space and works perfectly

  28. Kyra Sunseeker-avatar

Bring back the status bar option! That was the best part.

  29. Alexander Reznov-avatar

    Alexander Reznov

Very helpful tool and works great!

  30. Nikki Tate-avatar

    App crashed after update!

  31. Simon Hugh-avatar

Most Valuable Program. Every device should have this feature, an aid to keep your battery at its optimum state, apparently something not in the interest of manufacturers who have removed battery optimising from the charging modules of the systems.

  32. Faridaus Y-avatar

Love this app...osem! Only that after the last update, the bar keeps on resetting to "top" after the phone restarted. Samsung A30. Update: With the new update, all is well! Tqsm. Keep up the good work!

  33. Kaushik Sandeep-avatar

    Kaushik Sandeep

This app is awesome but i would suggest some few thing to be add. First there is no resetting option available. Second energy bar position should be more like side of screen or bottom of the screen. Thats all.

  34. Matteo Turrisi-avatar

Doesn't work. I've set it up and everything, allowed it to show in the notification bar, shows, yet randomly stops showing, as if it was disabled, while the notifications settings still allows the app in there. Idk if it's because I'm running Nougat, but matter of fact, doesn't work for me.

  35. Andy Meyers-avatar

I have used this app reliably for years on Nexus and Pixels, to the point that I just took it for granted, however it appears that (most likely with a change on Android 10) because the app using Notification Access to display, it doesn't allow for dialogues presented in Chrome (such as to allow your location for a site) to be acted upon. I only noticed this when I upgraded from a Pixel to a Pixel 4. I'm not sure if the dev can do anything to work around this since this appears to be expected behavior for the Notification Access feature.

  36. Jo g.-avatar

Awesome!!! Love it in accessibility suite. It is turning itself off. I don't know why. I updated and rebooted after update. 5 stars when devs help me.....🤣

  37. Dipanjan Mandal-avatar

    Dipanjan Mandal

Can't handle the notches properly. It was fine in my precise phone which did not have a notch but my new phone does and it looks unnatural and doesn't just face out of perception when not needed as it used to earlier.

  38. Mitvinder Singh-avatar

    Mitvinder Singh

Simply beautiful, does what it promises.

  39. James Muchowicz-avatar

    James Muchowicz

Pop up ads started right after install. The popup ads disguised themselves as other apps, so it took me a while to figure it out. I like the ap, but I don't do pop up ads, and if you are not going to be honest i REALLY won't use your ap. Ads are a necessary evil to help pay for things, but at least own up to it.

  40. Jason Rand-avatar

Works great and I love the ability to "sense" how much juice I have left by both color and bar length. One option I'd love is the option to see it only during fullscreens apps. I already have a gauge in the status bar when not full screen, this is honestly the only time I want it. Seems redundant the rest of the time.

  41. Muse Green-avatar

Worked until I turned my screen off. Now it tells me to give notification access every time I try to toggle it on...IT ALREADY HAS ACCESS. Multiple reinstalls did nothing. I would really like to use this. Curved edition works fine. Device is Acatel Revvl 2.

  42. Greg MG-avatar

Not really much to complain about here! This app is a must have for all my Android devices. I just wish there was a way to export your settings so its easier to set up on multiple devices, and I'd like for there to be way for the energy bar to be visible on the lock screen. If I could make a suggestion, PLEASE make the slider buttons bigger. They're hard to hit and I end up tap & dragging around nothing a few times before I finally tap the slider to drag it around. (Pixel XL 2 running Android 9)

  43. Ray Hricik-avatar

This app should be part of the Android operating system! It is ultra reliable, has *no* impact on battery life, and looks great. I have the paid version, and have a 5 color gradient 5 pixels high on my S8 - almost invisible unless you know it's there. A quick glance lets me see my battery level without broadcasting it. The charging animations are fascinating to watch as your phone charges. Well done, sir!

  44. A Google user-avatar

I realy like the idea and all but my phone seems to not like it. I have read other reviews and it seems to work for everyone else but when I enable the energy bar it would appear on the top as normal but every time I would enter another app it would disapear and as I exit the app it would never come back. I would need to open up the app again for it to pop up. I tried looking in the settings if it was a notification problem but everyting that I tried would fail.

  45. Kameron Fulp-avatar

FINALLY!! an app that lets me see how much battery I have no matter what I am doing. Whether I am checking my email, playing a game, on FB, or just surfing the web, I can always tell - at less than a glance - exactly how much battery I have left. Unobtrusive. Easy to see (even when it's dark). Accurate. Different settings so it's just how I want it. No ads. It took me forever to find this. I am more than happy with it. It is now on my phone and tablet, my son's, my daughter's, my mother's....

  46. Charles Bergell-avatar

    Charles Bergell

This app generally is great, it's a nice way to see your charge state at a glance. But the charging line doesn't 'pulse' as advertised. And setting up the length of the segment for % of charge is a too hard. No way to just tap the box and set a number, instead you have to use the slider which is ridiculously sensitive. Every time I lift my finger it changes the numerical value, and I can't get it to stay at the values I want. Also no way to sync settings between devices, have to reset for each.

  47. Karl Senior-avatar

Just installed the app. I found out about it from an Android Authority article about the ring bar for the Samsung Galaxy. I have an LG G6 and the bar itself does not go all the way across the top of the status bar on my phone. The left hand side, about 5% is transparent without any colour. Almost like I have a small notch there. *edit* I now realize that the bar is a representation of the battery life across the status bar that is left. Overall, great app

  48. senselocke-avatar

Absolutely the first app I install on a new device. Rock-solid, never had a single problem, and it's much easier to see your remaining power (or that you're charging) than reading the tiny battery display. Tons of customizations, pick your own colors and/or gradients, charging animation, and display type. Even more useful on old devices that cone unplugged too easy, as it's clear when it's charging vs not. I love this app.

  49. BlueSialia-avatar

I have a OnePlus 6T and the bar is rendered below the notch area. Honestly, it's not visually displeasing. It could be a third way of displaying the battery. This issue doesn't exist in the curved version for the Galaxy phones. It would be nice if the bar were to surround the notch like in the app "Notch battery bar - live wallpaper". It'll also would be nice if you could indicate the curvature of your phone corners for the bar to adapt to them.

So this is one of the reason as that this a DESERVED 5 🌟app: I get a new phone, and it had been awhile since I had actually had the app installed on a phone I was using, altho I totally loved the concept and execution, so much so I was convinced to get the pro version. So ffwd to right now, here I am about to reinstall the app on my phone and I'm thinking, I shouldn't REALLY have to pay for pro again, it should be on file, right, so I notice there's no option to do this outright, u have to go

  51. A Google user-avatar

the idea is great and it seems to work well, but only as long as you do not have notch. i feel like the app needs an option to either "curve' the bar to the shape of your liking so I can go around the notch or an option to set it to like a third of my screen so eg the space from notch to a border of the phone makes for 100% of my battery. as of now seems like I can't set it in a way that it makes sense, so only 3 stars, but assuming these options will be added I can see myself using it and 5 star

  52. Isaac-avatar

If this app works on your phone, get it. But on my OnePlus 6T there is no way to make the battery appear at the top of the status bar and it always appears underneath. This, in my opinion, makes it look really stupid. If the developers of the app can do something about it that would be excellent, but I understand that it might be OxygenOS not allowing them to put it up there.

  53. Mikey Hudson-avatar

Surprised and Impressed. Im not a fan of what I call "Glamour Apps" that use up a ton of your phone's processor and/or memory only to beautify a small portion of your screen for a brief "wow" all while draining your battery ten times faster. However I am genuinely impressed at the vibrancy and customization options of the colors, as well as the small impact on the CPU, PLUS being a beautiful way to efficiently portray your battery's status. Bravo, sincerely. I must thank you, devs. Perfection.

  54. Iain O'Connor-avatar

Nice idea as it provides a discreet battery level indicator on your status bar, but no good if your launcher is set to hide status bar like mine, would be nice if it could be put on the bottom or just not on status bar

  55. J MG-avatar

Google Play is now "automatically installing updates" (even though I've stated I don't want to do that) unless you toggle off "automatic updates" for each and every app. Just asking a question for the dev: In this newly recent update (and I was fine with the previous one) is there any relevant changes for Nougat users like myself or was this update released mainly to address the issues that Oreo users seem to be facing?

  56. Andrew Hexen-avatar

I've bought the dev support pack shortly after starting use of this app a few yrs ago. Love the app as it's been part of my phone space since discovering. My issue currently is my license is no longer activating for this app and sent an email to dev currently with no response. As it stands I would not recommend the donate version as it appears to randomly expire.

  57. RoadTrip Eddie-avatar

I love this app, now doesn't work on a New Motorola G7 Android 9 ? It did work properly on the previous Motorola G7 with Android 9, same build, Same settings strange

  58. Michael M. Wiseman-avatar

Great tool for verifying that wireless charging is working. Would be great if status bar mode showed charge rate, battery state, time to full

  59. Sam Porter-avatar

"merged segments" I can't make it work. The selection screen , you need to be able activate it in some way...

  60. Ma Man-avatar

Excellent app. Just every time phone shuts off, you have to turn the overlay permission off and on.

  61. Joe Zoller-avatar

Love it. Paid for the upgrade to support Dev. i just wish that the version for a curved bar was simply an option within the app instead of an entirely new and separate download that requires still more money to get the features back for which i already paid.

  62. Ollie Montgomery-avatar

    Ollie Montgomery

Love the customization. Energy bar is very helpful when out and about. Just a quick glance at the screen and you get a solid idea of where your battery is. Have used this for a couple years and I can't go back to life without.

  63. DMtech-avatar

Needs too many permissions like reading message content etc. Crazy of me to think I was getting a simple colored line at the top of my phone.

  64. anyeg2010-avatar

Disappointing, have to manually start after every reboot. Wasted of money for the pro version.

  65. John Smith-avatar

like this app, can't wait for the custom S10 Plus version. This app makes it easy to see the amount of charge left and if the charging cycle is occurring. best one out there. Used on multiple Samsung phones. 20190327, S10 Plus.

  66. Siiri Pappinen-avatar

i guess it works, but when i change the settings, such as change the color, and exit the app, it switches back to the default settings. it seemed really cool and if it worked even when i exit it, it would be really nice

  67. BR3Ak1Ng-avatar

i used to use this on all my phones even bought the full app but now the draw over other apps toggle on my new phone causes pop ups like an app or website needing access to location to no longer function, so now i have to uninstall just to use phone normally. If fix comes 5 stars til then 2 cuz i cant use the app anymore

  68. John Pisello-avatar

Works on my Pixel 3 XL, but I had to make the "normal" bar very thick (17 pixels) so it would "peek out" from under the notch. Until I did that I thought it wasn't working.

  69. A Google user-avatar

Cannot use Pro. Google Pixel 3: Android 9, February 2019 Patch. I'll change to 5 stars when a fix is released. The Pro feature wont activate because I changed my google email address. The app knows its changed but wont activate anyway. Edit: uninstalled app. developer probably wont fix my problem. I wont come back to this one.

  70. J V-avatar

Love the app...until it stopped recognizing that I've paid for the support. I've already paid for it twice since it wouldn't recognize my other google account's purchase. Hopefully, this is resolved eventually...

I don't know anything about this App yet. I will most assuredly post my findings as soon as ive had a chance to use it for awhile . It was recommended by Mr. Whos the Boss on YouTube. Ok I've had a chance. To use it and its really cool I have it on bounce and its funny. To watch it run into the main segment.

  72. Derek Carrier-avatar

The original and best! Notice how most of the other power-bar apps' icons all seem like variations of this one? That's because this is the original! Great app! Never setup a phone without it!

  73. Keith Moore-avatar

Simple yet well thought out and designed. Apps that do their function and stick to it are rare these days on the market. Energy bar makes your phone battery display tangible and brilliant at minimal cost of the actual battery life!

Been using this for a long while now never disappoints! 👋 Sleek&fun EDIT: Recently updated will report back!

  75. robert perez-avatar

Nice app. I few bugs in the animations though.

  76. Amots Noy-avatar

Just installed. Looks great. I would love to have a connected / unconnected indication without animation. Edit after two days - still a great app. Full menu bar mode doesn't seem to work with Nova Launcher.

  77. Sean He-avatar

does what it says but has two issue. one its not always hidden in full screen apps even tho the checkbox is ticked. two it causes netflix to black screen (no image while audio is playing); turning it off solves the problem.

  78. 9Tech-avatar

Awesome app! I've been using it for so long and I'm telling many people about it! I have the Galaxy S8 and the edges of the display are rounded, please add support to that!

  79. Vicki Brown-avatar

Love it! One star off for intrusive ads.

  80. JDMorris81-avatar

Could you please add option to display percentage along with the bar? Love everything else.

  81. A Google user-avatar

One of my favorite apps! I'm glad that I heard about this and tries it. It is simple to personalize and works flawlessly in my experience. Thank you dev!

  82. Dallas Helton-avatar

Paid option does not work as expected, but the dev was quick to respond, refund my money, and begin working on a fix. 4-star app right now, but 5-star customer service.

  83. Justin Blais-avatar

Was a great app but recently stopped working. Kept telling me to turn it on but I already had. Permissions were on and everything. The recent hotfix didn't help either. Sad & frustrating.

  84. Plaeoprate-avatar

Love the app so far. I would just love to set the width of the bar as an absolute number/width, eg like tinycore. Im staying with tinycore until this is added.

  85. Alrik Webeling-avatar

Very nice app, but once in a while, possibly after an update, i have to reinstall in order for it to have access to notifications.

  86. kayne hood-avatar

Really nice little addition to your ui. I have no complaints in all honesty.

  87. Mitesh Patel-avatar

Great app, you should add a curve option for phones with a curved display.

Latest update no longer works with notch on OnePlus 6. Previously energy bar could be pushed to the top but now displays below the status bar instead. Changed to one star as I have paid for this app and received no support. Disappointed.

  89. Sean Brogan-avatar

Been a user of this for years but the latest update stops the energy bar from working. I'm on the LG G5 running 8.0. Also paid for the dev support pack.

  90. Geo Eli-avatar

Did not realized that there are 2 Energy bar apps. The other has curved edges lol, but I also donated for this app too. I have to support both, and I also hate ads. lol MORE UPDATES!!!

  91. Jonni Liljamo-avatar

Idea of the app is really good but doesn't really work on the A70 due to the teardrop notch. It goes under the status bar. Not the biggest problem but kinda bugs me but overall great app

  92. A Google user-avatar

The idea is good... And this would have been a very useful app, HAD IT WORKED WITH A NOTCH! My pocophone f1 doesnt show the bar at all...

  93. Jetstream S.-avatar

Great tool to have. Only complaint is the lack of options. Granted, there's not much you can do with a colorful bar. I bought the full version btw. I believe in you!

I love this app with everything I've got. For all tech and animation lovers, this is a must get! Great job to the developers!

Wonderful, does what it is meant to do well. Personally, i would like to see other colors too in the energy bar.

So elegantly simple, let's you see where your battery level is at with a glance... nothing more.... perfect! Thankyou

Energy bar wants access to my personal info and to be able read the contents of my messages. It's a battery status indictator, there's no need for this.

Literally after one day of use it stopped recognizing that I paid the $2 to unlock it. Otherwise I love the idea. :(

Loving it, just what I was looking for... also customisable. Really pleased, A+.

thought it was a neat idea until it started glitching here and there. when I uninstalled the program, the thin bar is still there even though no app.
