Reviews From google play store

I love using this app! Have had it on a few different phones off and on for 2-3 years. The greatest thing is that it has saved every workout (Mtn Biking) to my Google acct since the beginning. I can look back and see all the details for every ride; avg speed, total distance including the route I took, duration, etc. There are settings for many different types of workouts and it can be used offline (by GPS?). It then computes the data when next online. I definitely recommend Endomondo!

Bought the pro version some time ago. Could still use it the way I wanted when the premium subscription became a thing, but they have started to disable features I used since then, and are gradually giving me less and forcing me to pay, if I want to keep using basic stats like "lap speed". Meanwhile the app that came with my Jabra ear buds gives me all of that and way... WAY more without a monthly sub. So yeah.. uninstalled (no affiliation with Jabra, just fed up with endomundo)

Can't use premium I had and wanted to pay for the premium experience for this app, personally before I judge a app. Or even care enough to rate one I unlock the full service. But I can't even do that, I've tried to cancel my subscription and re apply it I've tried to contact customer support and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and made a new account just to try that as well. NOTHING worked and customer support has not gotten back to me. The help page, is about as good as most.My 2cents!

Update, with headphones you hear the cues fine Great app except for the audio cues, they are not loud enough, esp for slow down one, I miss the cue bc it is so low. When I realize it, it is time to run fast again. The app I had before you could hear the cues clearly, but the accuracy of the cues were waaay off so I'm trying endomondo again

I like the app. It is the most accurate app for jogging I've tryed so far. But there is an issue I faced. The app resets current progress if you use phone camera, it some how just stops the app, so you have to start over. I have samsung s 5, please fix it. Apart from it, everything's awesome :)

Don't bother with this app is you are colorblind. I had been using the app for a couple of years and took some time off running for the past few months. reloaded a training plan to start getting back in shape and now I can not see the color bars that delineate the intervals during the workout. If I wanted to memorize a workout at my desktop I wouldn't have paid for the premium version of this app.

I've used Endomondo for years, going back to when it was even on my Blackberry. However, just in the past week, the app will close and then open again in a rapid, never-ending loop. The only solution to stop it is to reboot the phone. Would love to have a fix for this soon as I recently resubbed and have a race coming up this weekend.

It was great when it worked. As of now really I'm really disappointed in paying for this seeing the GPS has failed to record properly at the end of any activity. It's not been in a poor coverage area or a hardware problem according to my satellite tracker which shows them all in the sky. Devs, this is on a Pixel 2XL.

I use it as a 2ndary app - my activities from Suunto are sync'ed to strava and then via tapiriik to endomondo (I have friends on both sttava and endomondo). I used to be very happy with this app - recently the synchronization between strava and endomondo is problematic - it's 2nd time I have a +1month gap. Endomondo support does not proide any support :( I am thinking about quitting both. And the support remains silent...

I bought the pro version of this app a while back, but am now being forced to move to a new "free" version that charges a monthly subscription. App claims that I will still get all the pro features but not sure thats actually true. Worst of all, now there are intrusive ads that I'm sure were not in the pro version, so I'm honestly feeling pretty ripped off. Not very privacy friendly either. Do not recommend.

I've used this app for many years. There were problems 8-9 years ago and I was ready to drop it, but the developers fixed those. Now it is fabulous and 5 star. Milesge is accurate as is the time so that I trust it enough not to double check with a pedometer anymore. I highly recommend this app.

It's good if you are self motivated. App tracts distance speed including average speed so you can try and improve/push yourself each run. You do however, have to pay extra if you want a program. One that will guide you each run. Overall though I think this is a great app and synchs well with my overall health app.

The app is nice, all good but, when it gives you 10sec for hiding your phone to the pocket for example only after you hide it it notify you about battery saving mode, so i ended up running for 35min and nothing was recorded, only time, not even distance! Bit annoying.

Excellant app. Have been using it for years. Recently experienced what could be a bug in the app. If i change my endo password on say, a PC and then open endo on my phone (which has already been logged in with old password), the whole app goes into an infinite loop of on and off and only phone restart will stop the looping. Please correct this issue. My phone is Samsung S9 running Android 9.

I really love tracking my workouts with Edomondo. I'm in a wheelchair most of the time and being able to adjust the length of my stride helps better gage how my workout really impacts me as an athlete. I've tried other apps that aren't geared for an athlete like myself and they've all left me disappointed. THANK YOU Endomondo for helping me get the most out of every workout! 💜 Rae S.

Too much to press just to stop on a run (watch). The main button won't start/stop your run clock. I end up scrambling through menus instead of tracking my run accurately. It needs a simple start stop incorporated in the hardware button and an option to set a distance that will stop the clock.

Measurement is ridiculously inaccurate. Apparently I was running on water, because they do not align with a map. Also, they sample the gps in a very low frequency, which causes severe aliasing.

Would get 4 stars if it tracked my steps and 5 if it also did a calorie count. It beats out samsung health because it has training plans (which are outstanding) but Samsung Health does the other stuff. If steps/calories flowed from Samsung Health to endomondo, that might fix the problem. Currently have a Galaxy S8 Active. May give it a 4 anyway after I use it a couple more weeks.

The GPS is not tracking distances correctly. I'm on an Android and I was running my app and a friend was running the app on her iPhone and my distance and pace were totally wrong. The app said we were walking a 12 min mile when we were walking a 15min mile. There is something wrong with the Android version.

Would give more stars if in HISTORY the running maps had km/mile markers almost pointless showing the km/mile pace without this (Ver 19.3.5). Just started to use this app again this month and thought it did have markers and was sure it had a useful countdown before the run begin but no longer the case.

Good app..was using this for last 2 years...loved it. However, now i have bought an heart rate monitor..which i can't link with this app without upgrading to premium... So time has come to say goodbye...endomondo..😒

Like the app (have premium) but temp is in farienheit which is the most annoying thing ever. Might look for another app. UPDATE: Updated my phone and now GPS is very inaccurate. Time to look elsewhere

I used this app a few years ago and really liked it. Just started using it again and like it just as much. Since I'm walking trails through woods, I could only guess at the distance without the app. I also like how it rates my speed especially if I'm power walking.

Use it for many years. It is not a privacy friendly app but it is useful. A good app over all but since I got it on a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it is very unstable and it stalls. Bugs are ruining it. I really want to keep it but will think about another alternatives. Please fix this little annoying problem.

a good app. certain times the app do not record distance though gps is working. need attention. the problem of wrong distance measurement is still rampant. the gps is perfectly functioning some serious thought shoulf be given to resolve this issue by the app developer.

I've been using this app for years and really loved it ,until 2 weeks ago. EVERY time I run now my GPS it stops tracking after 1.07 miles!! EVERY TIME ,at same distance. Battery saver and other troubleshooting was done ,with no change.

I have been using the app for a couple of years to track my exercises. I recently had a hiccup where the app would simply stop working as soon as I put it down during workouts. I deleted it, reloaded it and it works fine once again. Otherwise it has been a helpful app.

Love this app! Primarily use it for running. Just tried out my first interval running training and itw as superb! Definitely worth the money to "splurge" on premium features - same goes for Myfitnesspal 🔥

Was good now is terrible. Oh and support is useless. Just spout the same answers thst are on website FAQ. If not fixed soon i will have to find another that works. Only tracks correctly if i hold in my hand. Subzero temps dont agree with ion batteries!

Very good!! I am a pro-elite marathoner (Boston Tragedy survivor) and use it at all times; however, now I don't see the 10sec-countdown when starting the app/workout.

In genereal a very basic workout app, but in my opinion too basic. Missing lots of other features that other workout apps have. Only using it because ive used it for long and want to co tinues build upon my data. Otherwise I would have changed to another app.

Nice working app for free. Totally works with redmi4 and 8 . Nice think about is the kilometer tracker with instant notification audio for a chosen distant. Other audiotracks in background working perfectly.

It's and app that shows you the calories you burn by tracking your distance and time. That is what I use it for and I've lost 2 pounds in a month because I run now. It does what it says. No problem so far.

I've used Endomondo since 2013 and have enjoyed this app over others. Sadly though I'm now looking elsewhere as I'm now into hill walking and the app does not record the correct altitude. Though if I export the gpx file into Strava I get the correct altitude!

A really useful app with good functionality. It would be 5 stars if the map could be colour coded by speed or pace - using heat colours in the line. And not sure the premium is worth it unless already have all the gadgets like smart watch.

The app keep you updated on progres with voice communication. Friends can see what you are doing. Friends can give pep talk to motivate. Awesome app!

I use it exclusively for Saturday parkrun & meets my needs adequately. Had phone trouble more a while and uninstalled the app. Got new phone and reinstalled. Nice to have it back.

This app is malicious. Keeps doing strange things after deleting account. Reopens constantly and only turning power off helped in my case. I don't know if it's just a mistake or done on purpose, but i am sure that deleting account could be easier than now.

New phone, so I installed the latest version of the app. See it's still got the new interface where the map takes up half the screen even for sports that are stationary. Uninstalled!! Glad I cancelled premium because they just don't listen to feedback.

Good app but inconsistent. I walk/run the exact same path everyday. But the app showed consistently different lengths for the path over the duration of use. Also noticed that when trying the premium version the measured distance was more than when using the free version. I am not sure if this is a problem of the GPS - even if it is I am sure that there is a way to calibrate the app to consider average of all the readings. In any case I hope the developers manage to make improvements to accuracy

I don't know if this is a recent update problem, but the app used to tell me through audio my mileage/speed and time, but now it doesn't. I didn't change any of the settings. I'm not sure what's going on?

Great app, I had my first workout today and it was awesome, the GUI makes sense too but it didn't show my heart rate. I guess nothing is ever free right...

No easy way to shut up this app. I so not want my stats blurted out at random points while I'm exercising, and the option to mute should be readily available.

I love this app! I have the free version at the moment but I've also paid for premium last year and both are awesome. It gives a good amount of info on the stats at the end of each workout. I highly recommend for beginners.

Extremely inaccurate app! Says I ran an extra mile more than I did, and it said my fastest pace was a mile in 4 minutes!!! I frickin wish!

The old version supported ANT+ heart rate monitors. This version dropped support for my favored ANT+ heart rate monitor and it fails to connect to my BT Smart heart rate monitor. So this app is totally useless to me if it can't get my heart rate. In addition, you can't select what statistics you want to track during a workout like you could in previous versions. MAJOR downgrade!!! What a waste! Under Armour destroyed this once great app!

this app works very well for me I am just a walker and I don't need the audio codes or any of the fancy stuff and I'm able to shut all of that off but I particularly loved the auto pause which works. I often stop to take pictures while I'm walking, this gives me a more realistic record of my outing. I also like that I can use all the features I need without having to pay a subscription. I know that people who really work out may need the subscription but all I need is free.

It was working great before. But now it stopping in the middle of the run and i didn't even know it stopped. So I have to start again. It keeps stopping very 5 to 10 mins. Really annoying so I uninstalled it.

I used to love Endomondo, now the app is just simply not worth using it. It crashes at the middle of a training session, so you miss all the tracking info. When it does not crash, the GPS readings are awful, it shows you "teleporting" from one point to other, and sometimes it stops tracking your movement at all. I am so disappointed

Worth to try. I am using it since 7years, the free version. For biking and running . On some devices it works better and on the other ones worse. You see distance, kcal time and more.

Very good GPS support. It's record the activity without any issue when other apps gives problem. Need to increase social interface like clubbing and all

This app does not show the kilometers correctly. I've walked 4 kms and it is still showing 1.5 kms. Need to work on this problem.

I'm having problems work connecting my coospo h8 HRM with Endomondo. IT pairs and connects correctly via Bluetooth but app doesn't recognise it (works with other apps). Could you please advise?

It works great for me. I just do run/walk interval training and this is easy to use and has all the features I want except a nice walk/run interval timer in the free version.

I really like this app. I've used Endomondo free for years just to track my daily walks. sometimes for hikes and bike rides too. It does a great job for these activities and provides lots of stats. the GPS tracking is pretty good although occasionally the app will lose signal for no particular reason - i.e. I'm walking somewhere where it always works, etc., so i don't know if that is due to some other app interfering or a satellite location, etc. but overall, a great app that does what it says!

Went back to Endomondo since Strava does not accept belt HR monitors anymore. Quite like Endomondo it but the auto pause should use the phone motion sensors like other apps. Like it is it's very inaccurate and messes up all pace measures :(

Keeps me motivated. Very straightforward and effective app. Helps me lose weight. Immense stuff. Keep up the good work

Used to be my go to workout app, but GPS issues have helped ween me off it. A former premium subscriber for a couple years & would run concurrently with Strava so I could keep using it whiley peers used Strava. However Endomondo no longer keeps accurate GPS readings & distance. Though it was a problem with my ohone but Strava, Garmin & Maps all work and my wife is having same issues on a different device.

Tracked my distance pretty well. Detected when I slowed down and when I picked up the pace. It's nice to be able to turn off the app when you're not using it.

Endomondo free version does everything I want it to and I have no complaints to make. It is easy to use. You can choose which metrics are displayed as you exercise. Using Endomondo inspires me to go out training more often. I preferred using it on my old Microsoft phone because the display stayed lit right through the workout. My new Galaxy keeps closing down the display. Hopefully that's something I can change in settings.

Great ap! I really like that it links to myfitnesspal and keeps me on track! The paid subscription is affordable and helpful.

1 star rating due to the fact that the Galaxy Watch app doesn't record distance properly. Half my distances are below 0.2km, where it should be over 1.5km

I have been using this app for several years to tract my riding and running. It's quite accurate. I think it's great!

I paid for this app - yet I get even more ads to buy a premium subscription on the main workout screen? Go Premium? I bought Pro. Give me the ad free app I paid for.

After years I am about to leave this app. The stupid coach never stop annoying and telling the distances. I've checked everything and impossible to stop it. Instead if enjoying my sport it's driving me crazy. Amazing that I have payed for it and support something that the developers took a diamond and turn it to a coal. Now I know it is hidden and possible to set only before starting my tracking. So as I've said. Bad development by people who doesn't do any sport and doesn't know the users needs

Here we go again....the bugs...can't update my exercise...real time..fix it please.....I will give 5 star and buy full version if may problem solve...which all may activities not update in challenge...already in email to support....thanks...problem solved

Already upgraded to pro, but the connection to Garmin Connect still stuck, blank screen. Please to fix it.

use app on both phone (Galaxy s6) and watch (Samsung Galaxy). The watch version was*great* up until the latest upgrade (4/2019). Since then no bpm or calories measures; app randomly freezes in middle of session and session has to be restarted; slow screen refresh. Wish I could go back to previous version! Update!! - after rebooting watch, these problems went away. Now happy:-)

Endomondo has helped me reach a fitness level that is having a great impact on my overall health! Tracking my walking has helped me increase my bone density, which has been a target since I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis at 40, due to genetics. It's very simple to use, but gives you great information about your workout.

Very good tracking for the most part. I would have given it 5 stars but the first 400 meters of my jogging today weren't noticed by the app. I checked if my location was on and it was. But this hasn't happened before so I'm nit complaining a lot. Keep up the good work.

Very easy to use. Love all the data it collects. GPS works just about anywhere. Excellent trail tracking system!!!

Very nice experience been using it since 2013, but could never switch as this is relevant app . All time hit !!

I have been using it for years. Tracking my training for long distance horse racing, hiking, cycling, and any other hobbie I take on.

Great app. I can keep track of my activities even with the free version. History with maps transfer to other devices if you sign in. I have it on both my phones.

Has let me down again. Tried to stop app when finished a d would not respond. Reset device and nothing recorded. Will finally give up with this app. as it has failed soooooo many times.

I upgraded to premium, app keeps freezing since and I can't do anything with my phone. Also, I have a Samsung galaxy watch and phone and while I can have endomondo on them, if I start the app on phone, it doesn't show on watch and won't take heart rate (from watch). If I start it on watch, it will take the HR and sync at the end of the activity to phone, but i can't access things like interval training from watch. I tried starting phone and watch at the same time and end up with 2 activities...

For the same trail it is giving me different distances. I won't talk about elevation, because of course they can't have mapped the whole mountains, so elevation is way off and also changing with each ride. But at least distance I thought I could trust, but it is different few km's on the aame trail. Caloriws burned have to be off too. So it is just noce to see numbers but can't take it seriously...

Has had a LOT of unexpected crashes recently. Love this app but recently it's gotten VERY buggy. I'm going to have to use another app soon as I am losing workouts

Works great, easy to set-up and start with, if you want a bit of motivator to exercise there's nothing better to use.

Afer the latest update overloads Galaxy S9 while recording walk / hike so hard that I cannot use any other application - totally frustrating!

Very robust, customizable, flexible app. It accepts third party heart rate monitors and has a great map support. Can't ask for more...

Works quite well, has a problem dropping out of GPS signal now and then, but for a free version works well.

I have used Endomondo for years now and have used both the free and paid versions. It is very helpful for tracking many different cardio activities.

Have used this app for years but in the last few months it is pretty useless. I can't rely on it to track my walk without it stopping mid way through. If I take a photograph or receive a message it stops but sometimes it stops anyway. Very annoying. Have always relied on it to track my walks.

I used the app for the first time in a while and it does work accurately. I still have to work out the Kinks in in my programing. I am on a 30-day trial basis. I have used this app in the past however this time I had to upgrade to premium as it is not free for Android users

played with for several minutes. i interpreted the purpose of the app waa to pool data from aources across devices amd companies. garmin watch, fitbit scale, MyFitnessPal for food tracking. not the case at all. i was able to connect my fitbit account but that was it. i couldn't connect my garmin watch or my Garmin connect app. it also seems the data only goes out, it doesn't come in. not what i expected and even when i realigned my expectations the app was still lacking.

Not reporting GPS distance Upgraded to new phone due to GPS connection problems with my previous phone. New phone shows active GPS signal in the app but no distance is captured during my walks. This makes the app useless to me.

have been using this app for almost 4 years, never fail to track properly. easy to use, able to track friends' workout to encourage each other

I love this ap, except it keeps turning off in the middle of my hike. Still stopping workout any time you use any other phone feature such as camera or texting. Looking for another application.

I have an old Motorola 360 smart watch and a Huawei nova 3i watch. works great on both but make sure the watch is not covered by clothing. it loses the Bluetooth signal otherwise. it might show on the screen of the watch that there is no Bluetooth but the watch never seems to show it is connected. look at the phone and u will c endomondo open. used to use strava but they stopped supporting my watch

I use this app for sports tracking only and it works well. Does what it says on the tin. The free version is completely usable which is a rare gem nowadays. The only negative is that it doesn't work well with low battery, it loses gps a lot - even when my other maps are fine.

I enjoy the app very much. But I am unable to connect my heart rate sensor (BOSE SOUNDSPORT PULSE) at all. The heart rate works well with other apps like map my run , map my fitness, even the Bose Connect app. But only Endomondo is unable to connect. It is the same in the iPod also. Please fix the issue.

I have used this app for years and it has never let me down. Plus it provides other areas/trails other people have exercised on.

Absolutely phenomenal app, best I've ever used. I've had it for years now and absolutely love it!!!

Great to track my workouts, running, biking, walking ... I use it for over 5 years already. Easy to use, adding pictures; sharing via IG, Fb and Tw simultaneously. Mobile and desktop. Workout can be exported and imported in other applications.

App has stopped working. Stops in the middle of activity every time. Checked my location settings and all app settings. Edited 10/21/19: still not working.

Absolutely amazing... I'm using this to get fit for my naval fitness test and it helps me do much.... I recommend it to anyone who wants to get fit 👍

It has crashed my phone a couple of times during runs. Anyone who runs will understand how frustrating that is!

Would be great if heart rate was displayed on main screen not trying to use status bar to it. Otherwise great app.

I like application and service in general (the features it provides). But the application is buggy as hell! For example - one update breaks activity feed refresh, another one - application starts to freeze when you try to view activity details, and so on. Frustrating as hell!
