Have to pay. During my trial I tried to do shopping with the app at both Kroger and Walmart. My shopping list didn't transfer to either. The closest I came was getting to select one item from Kroger but it would freeze up after that. The meals are very limited in number. Only 12 meals to choose from in the sections. Two big thumbs down. Very disappointed.

The service is great but I'm giving it only 3 stars simply because of the inconvenience of having to call in order to cancel. If you sign up for the trial, I recommend using something like a Venmo or Cash App card so that you can control whether you want to continue paying for the service without having to call. The only reason I can think of for you having to call is so they can convince you to not cancel. Make it so you cancel right from the website and I'll change this to 5 stars.

While the app itself is actually pretty neat and a good general idea, the service is bad. You have to call them to cancel the subscription, and even though I did just that over a week before renewal time, I was still charged come renewal time for another 3 months.

Tried to cancel but billing keeps going. Unable to cancel in the app. Called number to end via convoluted process, but they just changed me to a different subscription.

This app has absolutely revolutionized how I grocery shop, cook, and eat. Grocery shopping takes about 10 minutes now, and I never have to run back to the store to buy something that I forgot. I've been loving the meals (we choose from all meals plans, not just the one we signed up for) and I tell my friends about emeals all the time. The only thing to note is that many of the meals would be under seasoned if you followed the recipe exactly, but my partner and I just adjust on our own.

Seemed ok at first, but the meal choices are limited and I can only eat spinach so many times a week. If you don't like fruit and nuts in your salads, you'll skip about every other side dish. I liked the idea that the ingredients transferred over to a shopping app, but many of the ingredients weren't available at my store since they aren't every day staples, leaving me short of something every time.

The app is nice and convenient for adding items to your Walmart app. However, there is still a lot of work involved figuring out which items go with which meals. Also, make the meal size adjustable for large families. I would have given 4 stars but I just learned that in order to cancel my free trial I have to call and talk to someone and I'm sure they'll try to get me to stay and all that. I understand that's business but it is very inconvenient and so I can't recommend emeals to anyone.

I'm not happy with my experience for a few reasons. 1. There isn't a simple way to cancel the subscription... I hate getting the run around. 2.As far as the app they don't group the ingredients so it makes it harder to shop on the site you decide to. That's annoying. As soon as I can cancel... I am and I am deleting the App. It's a good concept. I was excited for it, but poor execution.

This app is great in theory, but could be so much better. After only about a month I find it useless and I've paid for a year of it. Recipe options are way too limited. My groceries used to load automatically but no longer do, so my shopping takes longer. It would be nice to be able to search for normal recipes like lasagna or spaghetti so that it could be included in my shopping list, but its like I have to shop twice. I don't like it, I'm not happy I have spent the money for it.

I did like the recipes. There were things on there that I would have never thought of. But the customer service is horrible and they swindled me. I signed up for the $5 a month for 12 months plan, and they automatically charged me $30... I tried contacting them, never got a response.. then after 3 months they stopped my subscription altogether... We will see if they rectify this.
