There useful and less useful games. My favorites are subtraction, division, extraction, and speed reading. You get helpful tips and instructions, so you can actually use this app to develop these skills. I'm only on day 8 and I intend to keep at it for the whole yearly plan. I have a fear that the games will not develop hand in hand with my skill level, but we shall see. I wish if when you click on an achievement, it would display "so many % of players have unlocked this achievement".

  2. guest-avatar

I enjoy the app very much. The only criticism I have is that my whenever I play I never seem to get the topic that I need to improve. My speaking score is lower that all other topics, yet I cant seem to get any games dealing with speaking. I have leveled up everything else but except speaking. I cant even remember the last time it was offered to me, even if I shuffle to see what else I cant play. I dont know if it's your algorithm but it sucks right now.

Fantastic but still things to improve. There so many good words mentioned but i need to screenshot in most games in order to gather the words used for the day. Every game should have all the words for the day at the end with the definition so when they change the next day it is a new batch. We will reach new depths into the learning process. I would say I have learned only about 5% of the new words I have seen properly and the connotation/sort of meaning of 20-25%. We can improve the quality.

  4. guest-avatar

It keeps your mind fresh by giving you 5 games to play everyday. This helps you improve incrementally without feeling overwhelmed. You can play more if you like, but I think consistency trumps intensity. Lastly, the games feed off of one another so it creates a synergistic effect if you play all of them, not just the ones at which you accel.

It really helped me with my vocabulary, writing, math and fast thinking skills developed. It helps those moments when you don't know the right words to say and how to correct writings. It improves on how fast you think, read and react. It's a good app to help you develop and improve your skills at writing, vocabulary, math and reading skills.

I liked the app and the games. Each game targeted a different subject and they are fun which is important. They were also super helpful when I requested a refund after my trial expired. Nothing better than great customer service!!! I recommend this app to someone who will consistently use it. What also nice is the remind you and also will adapt to you which I find helpful.

This is my favorite game in the entire app collection of Google and galaxy play stores. I love the idea of progressional unlocking levels/ games is ingenious and the anticipation of being able to see all of the games ,but waiting to be able to unlock them is probably the thing keeping my attention the most. The actual content is mostly challenging and relevant to everyday life with some material that is more advanced, only badges are lacking for the gratification/effort.

  8. guest-avatar

Originally I had intended to give this app (3) stars as it does have some good ideas. However, the yearly price is outrageous. This is a $10.00 app AT BEST, not a $40.00 one. Secondly, the time trial mentality is infuriating. You know what I want to do? Improve my comprehension and response time. You know what doesn't do that? Listing a story word by word in a fairly brisk speed and then asking me for specifics. That's not challenging, it's a infuriating. Speed is not comprehension.

  9. guest-avatar

Elevate is a very good app for increasing your IQ, EQ and everyday skills but I have some suggestions to improve it's function: 1) There should be at least 5 games in free version of daily sessions 2) App should focus less on answering fast, this is a hurdle in thoughtful answering and learning. 3) In my phone I could not get any notification for daily sessions unless I myself open the app, this should be resolved.

  10. guest-avatar

Very very good brain Training app. BUT!!! You have one exercise with unit conversion, that would be very good and make me give the remaining 3 stars, IF! The imperial units could be removed. As a European, I've lived with only the metric system and even if I have a vague Idea of what the imperial system is like, I have no ambition to adapt to the 5% of the world population who's stuck with this measurement system. Fix it, by adding a slider or something, and you get three stars extra. ;)

  11. guest-avatar

I really like this app! I've been using the free version for ~2 months now and it's such a quick brain workout (5-10min). The animations and games themselves are user-friendly, but they're tailored to you so each day is slightly challenging (i.e. it doesn't feel like a gimmick). With the free version, you're randomly assigned 3 games each day (which you can replay) and it tracks your scores against others within your age demographic, which is so interesting! I genuinely like this app.

  12. guest-avatar

The app is good, but they should be more professional and notify you through the app when your subscription has ended. Came an expected bill of an annual subscription that I forgot to revise it. If you don't consider paying, cancel it right after you do the mandatory subscription to access the trial.

  13. guest-avatar

This seems to be the best of these kind of apps (at least, that I've tried). The games are fun and seeing your improvement and rankings is interesting.... but be aware, it's a 7 day free trial and after that costs 40 BUCKS! Which is a pretty insane price point for an app. I don't think I'll pay it and I'd suggest to the developer that very few people would willingly pay it, the ones you're getting are probably mostly being tricked- not cool. It claims there's a free version but I don't see it.

A language & math focused all. Elevate, as compared to Lumosity, is more focused on math (estimation, percentages, quick math...etc) & language (vocabulary, punctuation, speed-reading...etc), & lack games on memory & reflexes. The Pro version opens up all the level-appropriate games in the 4 categories Elevate has: Writing, Speaking, Reading, & Math. The user interface is very colorful & animated. A lot of work has been put there to make Elevate look as beautiful as it is as a game/app.

  15. guest-avatar

It's outstanding and exceptional but of course, makes you pay. Now there is a limited, free way you can ply, and that's nice and all, but as someone who needs this very much but truly cannot afford to pay, it's frustrating and disappointing but I am grateful the the but I do get free, thus the four stars. If you can afford to pay, I'm sure it's five stars.

  16. guest-avatar

Only complaint is that they don't foreground the fact that full functionality is locked behind a not insubstantial yearly subscription fee. It's also a pretty "busy" app, noisy, colourful and animated which might be a plus or a minus depending on you. You can switch the sounds off. Does show the developers know how to hit your dopamine triggers though.

  17. guest-avatar

(note: I am paying for the full version) Phenomenal. In just a short time, this app helped me think sharper, calculate in my head much faster, and be more alert when reading allowing me to understand what I'm reading much better. These are just a few of the many ways this app has changed me. I was going to go into a bit more detail for you, but apparently I can't go over 500 characters in a review (switching back to iPhone soon, thank God). Anyway, I strongly recommend this app for anyone wh

  18. guest-avatar

Entered my info to THEN find out that you have to pay 39.99/yr. When I X'd out of it I was then offered the free version with limited game play (3 training sessions per day). But, there are NO ads! (1st EVER app I have came across that has no ads for free version.) You can replay the same sessions to familiarize yourself with them (speed reading 😉😉) but it does not go toward your overall score. This app is fun and engaging and will have you constantly challenging your best scores.

  19. guest-avatar

    Jeffrey The Ranger

After searching for a while, this is the best brain training app for me. But then, like the majority of people here, I realized it's just a super lame 7-day trial, and insisting debit card and credit card info. I could understand a one time payment of 43 USD, but 43 USD for annual subscription? Screw you. Go to hell.

  20. guest-avatar

I like the games, but the time limits are unhelpful and make the game unnecessarily stressful. Also, why does it abandon a day's session midway through, just because we happen to pass midnight? Could be more forgiving in general and some elements are debatable (certain rules on comma placement) or downright useless (conversion to outdated measures)

I've studied with this app for 3 days. I used to play Lumosity, but have taken the Lumosity app off my front page because Elevate has already surpassed it. I'm enjoying the challenge of the categories on Elevate. They are not for the faint of heart. What I mean is, if you get your feelings hurt by being pushed on subjects that you may not already have a strong handle on, you may not stay with the app. I appreciate this aspect. I rise to challenge...usually. I may even shell out $ for Elevate.👍

I absolutely LOVE Elevate and my 70 y.o. memory has improved dramatically since commencing the exercises. Wonderful to have such a variety of exercises and to have the reports and feedback, the encouragement - and miracle of all miracles, I am actually good at mathematics! It was never like that at school.

Recently I started using Elevate and I am loving it. Thanks for all the efforts you put into it the app. I am not good in English so I wanted to improve my reading, listening, speaking and writing skills and I think this is the right platform. One suggestion I have is to add a speaker icon beside any new word we come across in the game. On clicking on it should pronounce the word, so that we can know how to pronounce it.

  24. guest-avatar

The games are great and worth excising the mind. However tricking people into "free trial" but requiring credit card info is nothing but a sham. If one is not careful the automatic charges begins without you realizing. This is the lowlife tactic most subscription services has relied on and to this I give you the one star you deserve. Change your business concept and I'll give you the 5 stars you deserve.

I really loved the Pro version & although its totally worth the $$$, i just cant afford any xtra expenses right now. The free version is still great and helps me in ways i didnt even realize i needed until playing. I'm definitely recommending this to everyone i know! Thanks devs, u r awesome!!

I find that app really helps. Main struggle with isn't necessarily the apps fault, my ADHD makes it harder because my focus tends to slip when I can see the timer and the points. Maybe you can develop a game mode that hides these bits? Much love and appreciation to the team who created this! Edit: *The set up you have when you first open the app is misleading. The continue with free version button should be visible & above the start free trial/buy premium buttons. 1⭐ until this changes. ÓuÓ*

If you pay for the full version and take it seriously, you will start to notice you are actually achieving what the app is trying to improve. You'll notice in real life situations that you'll have faster math skills or a better vocabulary. Pay for the entire year, do it every day, it will help your mind become much more efficient whether you are alone or out socialising.

  28. guest-avatar

    Jennifer Harvey

I really enjoy this app. It gives good sessions and really helps to keep my brain on the right track. My only negative opinion is I wish there were more than 3 sessions when you are using the free piece. I would like to practice a little bit more but can't pay out of pocket. Other than that Great App. Thanks!

This game is really helping to refresh my memory.the word of the day is, when you don't use it , you will loose it. You be surprised how easy some of these games are and I don't remember the answer, but thanks to this game, it's all coming back it's like home tutoring 👍

  30. guest-avatar

The app provides an excellent experience to learn concepts easily, the graphics and user interaction make is very comfortable. The best part is, it shows the reason for why a particular option was incorrect as well as what would be the right answer.

  31. guest-avatar

    Michael Anishenko

I find myself completing given assignments with intention of not learning new things, but rather not making mistakes and hectically, sometimes instinctively, picking answers without actually stopping and thinking because I want that high score...not learn. Although, this app serves a good cause, nevertheless, and it helps many other people, but it's not ideal for me. I want to take a few seconds, review/even recite a new, learnt word and "absorb" it, not rush to the next one.

  32. guest-avatar

It's $39. But you don't find out until you install, then it's too late, they will charge you. Then it's difficult to stop, you can't just uninstall. My brain is going to be smarter because it's a test to remove, which I haven't been able to yet. . They should be upfront about $39. A year. Honesty is missing.

  33. guest-avatar

***Updated: A rep from Elevate helped me log in and I am using app now. Upgrading 1 star to 3 star rating due to rough sign up and unclear trial offer. Need to enter your credit card.*** They offered a free 7 day trial, so signed up with my credit card. Immediately, the trial disappeared and I can't log in after repeated attemps and after a password reset. Aaahhhhhh!!!!!

  34. guest-avatar

Fun yet really informative. Breaks down your mistakes and gives great depth into breakdown of words and calculations. Was only using it free, though I genuinely see an improvement in my vocabulary and will be signing up for monthly subscription so I can play and learn more.

  35. guest-avatar

decided app was not for me, uninstalled app. looked thru my google settings under connected apps and devices, and a service called WONDER (which had showed up after installation of Elevate) was still there, still connected. why does an app that's supposed to help people's comprehension skills not understand what UNINSTALL means? hint: it means I want my phone back like it was before we met. sticking around and spying on me is what I expect from an ex girlfriend, not a app I didn't want.

  36. guest-avatar

UI is great and the games are good. However you can't proceed past the second task if you don't get enough right and there's no way to bypass it. Reading at 300+ words a minute and remembering extremely specific details isn't that easy. I'd like to be able to bypass and try the other games and do this one again tomorrow but I can't which is frustrating. If this isn't fixed I'll find a different brain game program.

  37. guest-avatar

So far it has been a great learning app for me, gives a small goal to aim for every day and keeps the mind sharp and active, also the free version is pretty fair and doesn't make you feel like you have to subscribe to get any benefit out of the app

  38. guest-avatar

Fantastic tool that is very engaging, I particularly enjoy the ranking and marking feature. It's very motivating and keeps me wanting more. I have no complaints and would highly reccomend to my family and friends.

I'm improving my English a lot with this app, even with the basic training plan since I am not paying for pro but I'll consider it. If only we could have more one mini game more with the default plan would be perfect but it's a great app

  40. guest-avatar

Fun and educational. I really enjoy the layout of this app compared to other similar apps, nice and clean. Some of the games can be confusing but they ask for feedback afterwards for upcoming updates. I've only been play in ng for a couple of weeks, so we'll see how it goes from here.

This app is great, really good for bettering yourself with little spare time. Only issue is the cost, but even then you're getting 3 free games a day. Who knows, in a few months I might be inclined to buy the subscription.

  42. guest-avatar

I honestly love this app. I've missed a few days and I can tell. I've been wanting to retrain my brain on subjects that require me going back to school. With this app I'm able to cover those specific topics. I even got my mom hooked on this app, so now where in competition with each other on who gets the best scores.

  43. guest-avatar

    Omphile Mmereki

It's a fun app to use. Grew a lot, esp on the mathematical calculations. I think you would enjoy it more on the paid version, I'm using the free version which limits me to 3 recommended training sessions daily.

  44. guest-avatar

While I do enjoy the challenges given I do not enjoy the time limit most lessons have. I'm autistic and being put under pressure not only frustrates me but also causes me to want to chuck my device across the room just to end the games. Please add something for autistic people because we learn differently then everyone else

  45. guest-avatar

So far so good, enjoyable to play. I haven't subscribed so can only play once a day but that's fine. No ads so far, which is a bonus. Play is of a reasonable standard too, not ridiculously easy.

I had this wonderful App installed in another phone, but since I changed my phone, I installed it in this phone, but to my surprise, now it is not free anymore, so I uninstalled it. Thanks. After couple of months, I could finally re-install this App, and I can just say that I love it. It keeps me fully interested I challenging myself trying to do better each day, and it really lets you keep your brain active.

  47. guest-avatar

Great mental focus to start the day, actually challenging and helps you improve, even if you are already advanced in some areas. Would be a five if it weren't for the cost of Pro, possibly a bit too expensive.

  48. guest-avatar

The biggest flaws, aside from the steep yearly price, are that it demands rapid responses and it has a live system for each game. It's a supposedly education app that has a fail state. You lost all your tries because we didn't give you time to think? Well too bad, either try again or switch to another game you'll fail at.

  49. guest-avatar

I like it when ask you if the game you have played is good/suited for you. I like those options. The games arent hard once you get the hang of it all. I really do enjoy the app.

I love Elevate app it really helps me as an English learner with games that develop my writing and reading skills. I would like it offer more free activities to students that cannot pay for the entire app like me. Overall it's amazing!!

  51. guest-avatar

I have only been using Elevate for a few days but I love it. The UI is clean, vibrant, and intuitive, and the brain training games are challenging without feeling like a ton of work.

  52. guest-avatar

One of the best brain training app. The UI is simply amazing and bold at the same time. Each game has a different interaction and motion illustration. It speaks about the efforts put behind to develop it. Great job guys. Please keep it up.

  53. guest-avatar

Apart from the cost, I dont have any complaints about this app at all. The free version is fine but the other 'games' on the app create for a more diverse learning experience

  54. guest-avatar

I have really seen the difference this game has made in my mental ability. Especially when it comes to math. I can add much faster and have more confidence doing math, something I struggled with alot!

  55. guest-avatar

Really helpful especially in the morning to wake your brain up. I definitely like that even using free version you could unlock new games, have a look at your statistics and etc.

  56. guest-avatar

Spam only, after selecting name, and password, received 9 spam apps for various things, the first was for permission to keep all my passwords in one place. After the 9th, I tried ending and logging in, again, just got with app adds. I'm deleting it from my phone

  57. guest-avatar

    Жандос Акимкулов

I'm glad that discovered this app. I find it useful and interesting tool. The reason why I use it because it helps me improve my knowledge of English and also push me thinking in English. Thank for developers!

  58. guest-avatar

Great app, love it! Suggestion: for the memory game, you should tell us the correct answer for the last word when time runs out, bc I genuinely want/need to know and it kinda just leaves you hanging.

  59. guest-avatar

    michele Plagman

I can tell when I'm tired because my scores are way low.otherwise it's good to see the improvement I have as I learn how to play the games better. I can see that I have to be faster in my answers to make a better score. So it also keeps me sharper.

  60. guest-avatar

    bonnie bercowetz

I tried the free subscription period. At the end of 7 days, there was no notification tht the free trial had ended and i was automatically charged. I do not want to use this service and would appreciate your refunding my subscription immediately

  61. guest-avatar

It's amazing but the activities should be wider than the training session range by it's own... like the sessions I have unlocked in the trainings, they should be added on to the activities rather than changing day by day according to training sessions

I love this game as it exercises your brain and it drives you to keep going and winning. Great for all ages but more so for older ppl who try to keep from getting Dementia.

  63. guest-avatar

Awesome app, I just wish it was more affordable as I am low income and can't afford that much in one payment. Even the option to have monthly payments would be nice.

Amazing game, helps me recovering from a stroke i just had a few months ago. The app is so helpful, offers guidance and a chance to correct mistakes from repeating.

  65. guest-avatar

I've used a handful of self-improvement apps, all of them are over-designed, over-gameified and out of pace with real life. Elevate is perfect in many ways!

  66. guest-avatar

Games are fun and interactive. Also teaches methods and techniques to improve rather than just have you continue playing. Definitely would recommend.

  67. guest-avatar

I really enjoy the app perfectly, but as of recently when trying to log in with my current email, it doesn't allow me to go no further. It will say something of server error, and then cycles for awhile. Please help

  68. guest-avatar

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase thus far. This games is truly what was advertised. The exercises help me start my day with sharper cognitive and focused responses.

  69. guest-avatar

I would give it 5* however I am unable to upgrade to pro version. Everytime I try the game gets stuck on the upgrade screen and doesn't do anything. Please help.

  70. guest-avatar

I love it. Though i do not work that well under pressure, the pressure from these games helps me improve my reading, interpretation, and maths skills.

I do only 2-3 minutes a day, but I've noticed great improvement in my processing speed and retention. And it's free! Definetely download, no question.

  72. guest-avatar

One of the very few apps I've ever bought. It certainly keeps me coming back for more. Best of all, it's not just a great enjoyable waste of my time. Nice to play something that is beneficial

  73. guest-avatar

Very engaging and truly challenging games. The only issue is limited games in the free section. Hope to see more games added from the pro section.

exeptionally, overly beautified app, could focus half of its beautification efforts on making better games, nevertheless, its still pretty good. Please make integrate more of studying and analysis options.

  75. guest-avatar

Wonderful app experience! Keeps me feeling on top of my game and allows me to continue my education during very busy times. I love the short and diverse exercises!

  76. guest-avatar

I am enjoying my experience so far, the games challenge what I know and teach me new things...I think it could have better navigation though.

  77. guest-avatar

Fun to play and makes it easier to recall and use more info in conversation or on the fly. I can say what I mean more efficiently now.

  78. guest-avatar

Extremely user friendly. The games are adapted to your level and are fun to play. I look forward to my daily session and appear to be improving!

It is a superb app. Everyone must try it if they wanna increase their knowledge and practice towards the studies that they can't focus while reading. I personally loved this app.

  80. guest-avatar

A collective set of games focusing on grammar, spelling, mathematics and cognitive functions. Thoroughly enjoying the daily training sessions.

  81. guest-avatar

It's really nice. A good brain-training game. Excellency in practice, performance records keeping and games. Amazing games!! Keep it up..

  82. guest-avatar

Definitely better than Candy Crash ;P An amazing App that lets you track your progress based on a scientific model.. And improving these abilities is fun in these games that can actually be quite tough

  83. guest-avatar

One of good games I played so far. Really helps me do brain exercise every single day. Thanks and hope you guys make great improvements years ahead. Stay alive!

  84. guest-avatar

The games are quite enjoyable and well tailored to where you are at, the animations are well done and make it easy to stay interested

Pretty fun app. I'm learning a lot and have a better understanding of what I should work on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to improve upon their skills as well as build new ones.

During the 14 day trial, the game is confused as to whether or not you are a paid user. Annoying but it seems to work properly after the trial ends. I chose to continue with the paid version because I'm seeing results and it's a great way to get my head up to speed in the morning. The games are fun and the ranking system keeps drawing me back in to play more.

The nice thing about this app, is you can keep striving to better your score. I enjoy it just before bed, and while on my commute to work in the mornings.

This app is brilliant. Its helped me learn maths and new words I wouldn't normally use in every day conversation. Definitely recommend !!

I'm on the trial and really enjoying it. I don't know if I can justify a massive whack of $60+ as the only purchase option, but we'll see what the next few days bring.

I've enjoyed the quick simplified games as they are helping to improve my reading comprehension and writing skills. A few of the games could use better instructions, luckily I'm able to catch on at a rapid pace. I am using the free version which allows for ⅔ of the games available. Highly recommend this app!

I haven't got to use the App in its full essence but the intro questions I was tested with gave me a feel of what I might get using the premium version.. Great App so far..

I'm loving it so far. I've always struggled in math and I find myself tipping my hat and going back in for the challenge if I feel that I didn't get a high enough score. There is no greater challenge than the one against yourself to do better. You never really realize how much information/knowledge gets lost when you don't use it consistently. I look forward to my daily trainings.

I am enjoying the free version. There's not a lot of ads other than asking if you want to purchase the pro version. I would purchase it if I could, but the free version is great.
