The tense excitement of Elder Sign is now available for Android! Elder Sign: Omens places you in control of up to four intrepid investigators, as they fight to keep all-powerful Ancient Ones from invading our world through a museum’s arcane exhibits!

*Build a team of unique investigators*

*Explore an ever-changing museum*

*Face challenging arcane tasks*

*Save the world from absolute destruction*

*Expand the horror with two exciting in-app purchases*

Can you stand against the impending arrival of a malevolent Ancient One?

While Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience:

-A limited number of available Ancient Ones streamlines the game play experience while offering adjustable levels of difficulty. Face Yig in normal mode, Azathoth or Tsathoggua in hard mode, or Cthulhu or Ithaqua in very hard mode (in-app purchases required to face Cthulhu and Ithaqua).

-A number of subtle changes increase the peril of defending humanity. For example, the random negative effects drawn every midnight are more challenging, and the frequency of “no effect” results has been decreased. Monsters have likewise been altered to make them more difficult.

-Finally, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, which further streamlines play while increasing the overall challenge.

The artwork and sound design blend seamlessly with the UI. Immersive and beautiful. Challenging yet rewarding. One of the top 5 Lovecraftian games I have ever played, any format - tabletop, video game, TCG, etc. Have some free time? Let Elder Sign: Omens devour it!

What is good: the graphics, music and the sound effects all contribute to a good horror atmosphere. What isn't good: to progress, the character must match "glyphs" to a set of corresponding glyphs in the area they are in. The problem is that the glyphs allotted to to the player are completely randomly generated. So your ability to progress is entirely based on luck. You could make the case that this is fitting given the game's subject matter. But I think it makes for frustrating gameplay.

I like this game a lot. Yes, it's very difficult. Yup, the odds are against you. I feel the difficulty matches the theme. Once you learn the characters' "special powers" and utilize them wisely, I'd say I win a third of the time on all but the insanely hard missions. No, it's not a great story game, but I find the atmosphere (artwork, music) to be very effective. I don't find the dice to be "unfair."

It's functional, but not really all that fun. It feels as though the player has pretty low control over what actually happens. Not to mention how there is really no storytelling, which is something that games in the "Arkham Horror" line usually are quite proficient in. Not for me, too much RNG, boring after only a few rounds, and barely engaging for fans of the franchise.

As numerous reviews have stated the game is needlessly hard. The dice rolls do feel heavily stacked against the player with the requirements for success set needlessly high. Like needing 4 skulls when the dice feel rigged as is. I had similar experience where I could not get even one success in a few games. I could only watch my team die one by one. I regret buying this game.

I know I shouldn't expect this to be like the boardgames or the LCG but this is awful. One of the lowest effort match the symbol games I've ever played. All the flavor is lost, absolutely no story telling, it's the same level for all the gods unless you pay $3 per expansion which is only 1 God and a bunch of new detectives which is 1/5th of what you're getting base game but at the same price. Im glad I got this for free through Google play points because this is awful trash

I've played this game far and away more than any other android game. The completely unfair dice rolls makes it extremely difficult to win, but if it were any easier, I'd probably pay it once then never play it again. The expansions add huge depth and the different characters you can play change the playstyle for each game. It's thematically very strong, with Lovecraft vibes throughout, and the artwork is beautiful. And oddly the music score is the best I've heard in a mobile game.

Though i fail many more times than i win, this is an excellent game. have bought Cthulhu expansion and will probably buy the other 2 as they are inexpensive and a good addition to the game. Well worth the price. Fans of Arkham Horror may like this as a simplified, though no less strategical game. one of my go to games again and again when stuck with half an hour or so. More Expansions Please.

Gameplay is fine. The real problem us the absolute difficulty. After years being in the store, the games difficulty is still insanely high, even when facing easy elder gods. Not fun in the slightest. Also, doesn't help that the dice rolls are abysmally unfair. I've literally gone entire games facing a single challenge watching the team wittle away to death ultimately losing not making a scratch because the dice literally feel like they are rigged. Folks, just get the real game.

Nice art and atmosphere. It's cool to use the Arkham Horror book characters as your investigators. The game is challenging (in a good way) and it adds to the atmosphere. I finished all the bosses in the original game. I'm ready to purchase the dlc bosses next.
