Since MangaFox is now honoring copyright, there is no point to keeping it as a source. Nor is there a point to listing manga with MangaFox as the only source. In effect, searches now amount to "Congratulations! You can NOT read this!" That said, licensed manga should be bought, not pirated. 3 stars for being the best reader but also often a useless tease due to copyright law.
When it works it works amazingly. Reading, searching and downloading all work as quick as you'd hope and the UI is simple and easy to navigate. However when a chapter or two are not be available (usually not the case) it may cause your queue to pause itself leaving you with a lot of unfinished downloads.
BUT now, why is it after downloading, it doesn't appear on library (just the cover page. In Download section, still stuck on downloading even its already downloaded (like 22/22 page already downloaded but still downloading).
Two small things with storage location. If you change it to the same place it will delete the folder. A check should be added for selecting the same location just in case. Also if no manga is downloaded the location changes but is not reflected in storage location until a manga is downloaded.
I hope that something will be done for the Mangafox source. Hope that everything will get better. Maybe use another website because there are plenty out there. I don't really know how it works ^-^ This app is great. Every problem that arises always gets fixed and it's great to see this from a one man team. Keep it up and God Bless Problem: I'm having trouble downloading Zero Chapter 17. It gets stuck at 5/40. The source is from MangaPanda. Hope this info helps.
This app was great! I had to erase the app and re-install it cause it would freeze up on certain chapters of different mangas. I updated it and it just doesn't download any manga at all. PLEASE FIX!
Model: HTC One. Among all the apps I've used this allows easy background downloads and shows the manga covers. I really enjoy the widget too. The only drawback is that there is no online reading.
I have been using this for a while and it was really good. But then even before updating it started screwing up my manga and not letting me download some of my favorite mangas and it's pissen me off. You should really fix it. Until then might as well uninstall..
I have an issue every once in a while where the pages go black, and I have to reset my phone, and for some reason I can't download chapter 88 of one piece... It gets to page 19 and stops
If your interested in manga, this is the best choice ! Updates are regular and fix mistakes or glitches. Most ratings that are low for this are to do with a problem that will get fixed soon (which should be told to the developer if you'ce read the description). It's easy to use and requires little effort on your end.
Thanks for the updates! My rating is now 5 stars for this app. The only thing I wish this app had is a "mark as unread" feature, but that is so small it doesn't affect my rating.
It now let's me try to save files to my SD card, but when I attempt to do so it says, "Cannot write to this folder" or something to that accord :(
Son of Ogre chapters are missing however, I wont hold that against you dudes. This is a preet straight forward app. Thanks for the abundance of manga at my disposal. Great app
It's not the app it use to be. I don't know what happen, but this app is sinking fast. Sorry EDREM team. Your app is slowing losing the greatness it once held.
Comparing this app to other manga apps, this is the only app that actually downloads the manga as image files and not save as cache so that it couldn't be easily cleaned out accidentally, but mostly due to the fact that it doesn't offer stable reliable source to download from, it renders the app undesirable, but it has one of the best UI around
This is good actually, but I can't download the comics if I open other apps. When I open other apps, it will stop downloading and i must re-download it. How troublesome
At times it'll stop downloading, fixed by force closing. Still the best out there, though. Nice gui, multiple sources, and keeps files tidy. Changelogs are behind, and are usually incomplete.
A nice simple app, with a good interface, in my opinion that is. I would like to pick the source I download from though, MangaFox scan of Shingetsutan Tsukihime suck badly, and I hate their habit of sticking a disclaimer on the bottom of every single page... You never explained how to pick the source... Uninstalled until you just get rid of MangaFox as a source, or let us pick the damned source.
This is an awesome app. Only problems is that some mangas have errors. I don't know if it's just the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 or all devices, but mangas like The Gamer and History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi either download but don't display the pages as anything more than black screens, or it will not load the download list at all. I've noticed an error in the download list in many MangaFox source mangas. Again it may be just the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, but I'm not sure. Please fix these these issues or inform us how to solve them so I can give back 5 stars. :)
The app is great, but the only issue is that it crashes a lot and the app can't download right now for some reason. Every time I try to download One Piece Chapter 88, it doesnt work and the app crashes.
Whenever I try to to download a One Piece chapter; the chapter seems to stop downloading/freeze on the final page. No matter what chapter, it happens.

It takes more than 18 hours to just download 57 chapters- Hadashi De Bara Wo Fume. Its an awesome app if you'd fasten the downloading. If u really have all day waiting for it to finish downloading then download it, Otherwise not. If u fix the download speed then ill give 5 stars.

Why are some chapters of some manga undownloadable? There's a chapter of GB that refuses to DL, chapter 195 of TWGOK as well etc. Ignore that and it's the best manga-reading app.
Sometimes when I open a manga and flip the first page, it stops and I have to close it and reopen. And downloading is slow for One Piece
Because of mangafox's lincese issues this app is suffering, it's only 4 stars at this moment but once they fix this it will the five star app I know it can be.
I think that only manga that is on mangafox doesn't download but the others do

It was great until manga fox stopped allowing downloading and not half of the manga I read can no longer be downloaded. It would be nice if you could add more sources that actually allowed the downloading of manga.

The app used to be good, but I still don't get any notifications or updates if a new chapter is released and it takes too long to refresh the updates tab.

Its the best app I've downloaded but MangaFox manga won't download work and normally that wouldn't be a problem but the majority of the manga in this app is from MangaFox. I can't find out how to change the sources, please fix
