Previously gave this app 2 stars but now I give it 4. First it had 2 because it wouldn't connect to my phone like many others have said. But after some digging I got it to work. Basically make sure your location is on and your locations improve accuracy is on for it to work. For some reason Google needs that for the bike and app to work. Reason I give it 4 and not 5 is due to them charging $39.99 per month when I can just use the better app and service the peloton app and they charge me $12.99.

As a lot of people below have already said, the coaches and classes are great and the equipment is great too. The app though, needs some debugging. The biggest issue for me is that it won't connect with any of my tablets. It connects the bike with my phone through bluetooth really easily, but it won't connect with either one of my Samsung tablets. The tablets would see the bike within the Bluetooth settings (where it says that it needs an app to connect), but trying to connect the bike to a tablet using the app has so far been impossible. UPDATE 7/23: Tech support sent me a tip to help out. Tried it out and it did help and work out after trying it over and over again at least 11 times. Finally got my tablet to connect to the bike, let's hope it stays that way.

Update: app now crashes the moment I start a rowing class and resets. Come on echelon. This shouldn't be happening. ... Update: Does actually connect and function with my rower. Happy that the product seems to work now, but definitely should have been functional from the beginning. Will not connect to my brand new rower. That makes the $1200 I paid for the rower and year subscription a useless 120 pound paper weight. I was very excited to try it out and was left tremendously disappointed.

Not working with Samsung Galaxy tablet. Endless emails to Echelon customer support to explain app crashes every time a class is started. Uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. Customer support just say it's a known Android problem. That's no help when the product relies on the app to work effectively (show cadence and resistance). Really woeful and one of the worst and most expensive decisions I have ever made.

Terrible app experience. Free membership for 6 months came with walmart purchase only a few things are apparently available on that watered down version but no way of telling what is included so you just keep picking things that are an up charge/ not included. Spent time on multiple occasions and never found content included in my subscription. Couldn't be more frustrated or unhappy with the app and subscription.

terrible experience since i bought this bike over a year ago. so much trouble connecting bike to tablet or phone. waste so much valuable time to trying to get it to connect. app crashes in middle of ride which suddenly removes all resistance. such a horrible product. also doesn't not connect easily to echelon HR monitor. i have to remove and rellace battery from hr monitor everytime i try to use it just to get it to connect. buy a bike with built-in monitor or buy a non-smart bike

I was scared to get the bike when I first saw all the reviews of the app, bit I got it anyways I have the EX3 so I have to use it with my tablet and phone and for me it just works perfectly everytime. I just plug my bike to the power then open the app on my tablet and it connects same with my phone I use both android and apple no problems. I also have the HR monitor this last one sometimes take longer but it works fine as well. Is being 2 months and no connectivity issues. Enjoying the rides.

This has to be the worst fitness app on the market! I love the bike, but the way this app buffers during a ride makes it absolutely useless. I'm better off using a different app and third party sensors. There's really no point in me continuing to pay for a membership that I can't even use! Edit: I'm familiar with how the internet works. The app freezes and/or crashes using both my home wireless network and my mobile data. It is definitely an app issue.

I love the mix of coaches and music, but the app is terrible!! They were having a good run, so I should have given the app 4 stars for the last few months. BUT starting this past week I have been unable to complete my rides. I keep getting a Source Error. It is so frustrating!! Right before writing this I was doing the 75 minute TDE ride and with 6:41 to go it gave me this error. This last week I have been wondering if I will be able to complete any ride. My internet works fine!

Awful app and awful customer service. I have been charged £66.41 for a £39.99 membership that I can't use as my account has been expired due to 'billing issues' (even though there was no problem with them deducting the £66.41 from my account) I have contacted via email many times about getting a refund and for my account to be cancelled going forward with no luck with people getting back to me. I will now need to dispute this transaction with my bank due to the lack of customer service.
