App worked great until it seemed to have disconnected from the easycontrol thermostat. While trying to reconnect and clicking "proceed to bosch account", a login webpage was opened and closed again, not allowing me to enter my login credentials. After several failed attempts I managed to reconnect by following these steps (although I am not sure all steps are necessary): - clicked the thermostat from the wall mount and clicked it back on (so power off/on) - on my smartphone (android 11) -- settings / apps / bosch easycontrol - storage - clear cache AND clear storage -- settings / apps / chrome (default browser) - storage - clear cache -- easycontrol app gestart -- proceed to bosch account -- webpage to login stays up allowing me to enter login and pasword -- easycontrol app asked me which easycontrol i wanted to connect to (serial number of my easycontrol indicated) - A OK !!! (I am a user. I am not a Bosch employee. Try at own risk!)

It's so-so. Good for your standard, more basic functions like setting up timers and manually increasing temp. But very little info on other features. Specifically the Weather Dependant Control settings. I'd like to know how to set this up properly and to know what to expect from it but there is no detail on the app for this even in the help menu and very little info available on the Web.

Have been using the app without any problems. Since updating I can't connect doesn't matter how many times I've tried no luck. Simply useless 😒 grrrr Since posting this I have phoned them. But couldn't rectify the problem but sent me a long e-mail stating that the problem is my Internet supplier. Why is it only now a problem when you have updated the app.

In my opinion from functional perspective the app does what is supposed to but is lacking some of usability features that makes hard or unpleasent the configuration: - reorder rooms in the list/ any addition is the last in the list - reorder the scheduled programs / any additio is the last in the list - change a TRW room...needs TRW uninstall and reinstall in the desired room - unable to see in room details the indivitual TRW temperatures if meny are registered in a room

Simply doesn't work! Having successfully set up and used the original App it is really annoying to discover that this latest version doesn't work. I have tried repeatedly to pair it up with my thermostat only to be told that my password is faulty or the device is not connected to WiFi when neither is correct. Every time they update the app it goes wrong so I won't be using it or buying their boiler in future

Works fairly well, but not as good as Hive. Lack of the ability to boost for 1 or 2 hours is a huge gap in the functionality. At this time of year I don't have the heating schedule enabled, so the advance to next schedule isn't a good solution.

This is really rubbish. I expected better from Bosch. This app always struggles to connect to my thermostat. Frequently disconnects and I have to go through the set up proceedure quite a lot of time. Plus the menu and features are arranged in a really strange way over 3 million pages when all that could have been in one page.

App no longer works after they linked it to Bosch ID. All u get is "oops something went wrong, try again". No amounts of re-installs and password resets help. I now have a whole smart heating system that is useless because it only works with the Bosch app. I should have bought Nest or Hive instead.

Crashes all the time, keeps telling me it's not linked and then sets me as being out of the house. Very frustrating! Please get it fixed before winter otherwise I'll freeze. Has always been problematic but past few months absolute rubbish.

It was great when it worked. After an update the app required a separate login into bosch account. In the meantime i forgot the password for the thermostat, had to restore the thermostat to factory settings because there's no way to retrieve a forgotten password . The thermostat is failing to connect to WiFi, the app is not recognising my bosch login details. USELESS! I WISH I HAD GONE FOR A DIFFERENT BRAND! what have you got to say, bosch?
