Surprisingly intuitive and easy to use. It actually gives more and better information about the air outside than most weather apps. There's lots of data for the inside too, of course. Plus you can control the fan direction, rotation, auto, and power. Can't turn on the heating feature from the app for safety reasons (but you can turn it off). But would it kill you to have a landscape mode?

The app is ok but switching from machine to machine is difficult with modern Android phones. On the app you have to swipe at the edge of the screen to switch machines. The issue is when you swipe at the edge, modern Android phones have that gesture saved as a "back" button. So when I swipe to the side, the phone goes "back" instead of switching to the next machine. Being able to swipe anywhere on the app would make it easier to switch machines, rather then having to swipe at the very edge.

When turning oscillation on with the app, it just turns itself off without even trying. Have to use physical controller.

No Google Home support. Latest updates connect over Wi-Fi to the devices only 40%of the time, and even when they do connect, and I get a moment of remote connection, the app still thinks it's disconnected. There is no pattern to which of the four devices I have and if it makes or fails at connecting. Our Wi-Fi is rock solid, fiber optic with repeaters and all bandwidths supported. I'm very technically capable, this app is badly written. Notice how Dyson always dodges the Google Home issue!

Since 3/2021: The temperature reading in the app inow shows the ambient temperature instead of the target heater temperature. This makes the app even less useful. Why was this ridiculous change made (there is no compliance issue here)? Also, there are so many app-controllable smart thermostats, but this app can't be used to control the Dyson heater. What uses are there for this app in heater mode?

Elegant and simple app that finally works with Google home. 2 things missing. The app has the exact same controls as the remote, except for 1 button: the "info button" to choose what's show on the circular display. I want to choose from the app what to display on the circular display. If i want to do this I NEED the physical remote. The app should be able to everything the remote can. 2.I formaldehyde versions, yet the app still shows the picture of the regular Purifier.

Generally a very good app. Occasionally loses connection to my Dysons and can't be restored (removing and reinstalling the app fixes for me). They recently added Google Home support which is great. The only oddity is on the Humidity graph (for my machine that has both a Purifier and Humidifier). Unlike the other graphs (particulate, VOCs, etc.) the target for humidity is not shown nor is the on/off state for the humidifier.

This app is reasonably user friendly, and lets me control all features on my Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link. However, it provides almost no Google Home support except on/off. I understand it supports Alexa better. But that support is useless to people using Google Home. UPDATE: Thanks Dyson Ltd for the reply. While Google Home only shows on/off in the app, its voice control does allow me to do a little more. The page Dyson Ltd directed me to see lists a few voice commands which can be used. With some trials and errors, I can ask it to start/stop oscillation or set/unset auto mode, too.

It's blowing cool air, but it still states that the filter needs to be replaced (did that 3 days ago), even with the "Quick Fix" described below.
