Love this better than the OG si-fi show Liquid TV, which is where gems like "Aeon Flux" came from. Keep it up, but maybe less advertisements. 2-3 ads- twice a show (30-60 minutes) one block for less than 29 minutes, three advertisement blocks for over an hour. That would be ideal as a viewer, and SHOULD be enuff for advertisers, but doubt they would agree. Still, you don't want viewers to give up due to commercials. Short attention spans n all.

Just downloaded and noticed there's no option to cast to a chrome cast or smart TV. I could be missing it, but other than that, the app is great!

I love the creativity of the Dust shorts, and overall, I like the app, but there are some issues with it that need to be addressed. 1. The app requires you to login every time you use it. TV apps normally log you in and keep you logged in. This isn't a high-security banking app. It's okay to leave me logged in. The app developers even included fingerprint login. Look, I'm not protecting state secrets. Just keep me logged in. 2. The same annoying "you must login each time you open the app" problem exists on the Android TV version, but it's even more annoying because retyping a username and password on a screen keyboard with a remote is a PITA, and there's no quick login action like the fingerprint on phone. Again, there's no reason for this. It's a TV app. The app also doesn't let you use a bluetooth keyboard, even if you have one connected. Yep. You have to type out the username and password with the remote. Every freaking time. 3. Even once I log in on the Android TV version, the app stalls when I click on my profile. It gets stuck with the loading circle permanently spinning. I've reset the app data and cache data so this doesn't seem to be a one time thing. It doesn't happen on the phone or the website. All of this means I have to use the app without a user account on Android TV, which means I can't save a list of videos or do any other customization. If they would back down on the login requirements and fix the profile loading issues, this app would be 5 stars. Right now, it's about 3 1/2.

Confused, I can't figure out how to cast. Do they really expect us to only watch it on our phones? Why can't I use Chromecast? Very confusing. Downright baffled. Why would they want a barrier in the way like that?

I've been watching Dust on my smart TV. There are some very good short films to be found here. The acting is decent. The special effects can be movie quality. To me the story matters more the the effects. There a also some feature movies, and popular TV shows available too. Such as Saturn 3, Capricorn 1, Alien Nation the series. I like this app, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of the stories (films) to be told here.

with a Samsung Chromebook Pro this app will not work. It crashes on launch every time. I love the Dust channel and the films but the app does not work, for me at least.

This app has a ridiculous amount of ads. I have it on my Roku tv and the ads are longer than some of the movies. I watch a mini video that was 12 mins long and there was about 13 mins of ads not to mention they played the same ad over and over back to back. It was an alstate ad. I'm uninstalling from all devices.
