Download the app if you want to turn a 1 hour episode into a 2 hour episode. Buffering on a 100 mb fibre line is terrible. Please contact the guys over at Netflix or any other streaming service for that matter and get some pointers on how it should be done. Better yet, stick to the old fashioned satellite dish system, at least that worked 50% of the time.

Very good under normal circumstances, but terrible at present. Not all the channels are showing to enable a proper selection of channels to be watched. I then virtual assistant Tumi is trying to assist from a set menu of options that cannot resolve my current challenge. Dstv consultant advise to uninstall the app & wait 10-15 minutes before installing it again. All to no avail😱 Subsequent note: Impressed with the after sales service. Problem has been attended to and challenges resolved. 👍😊

Terrible app! I installed it on my TV and everytime I select a show to play I get an error. I keep having to install and install to watch a show, so bad! And it keeps buffering, I'm not sure why. My Showmax and Netflix apps work perfectly so I know it's not my bandwidth. Please work on getting the app up to speed. I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Thanks!

I just pressed one star by mistake. Or maybe it can be for being able to watch what I need to when it decides to work. Right now it won't open. I've downloaded a lot of series and now will lose all the data I've spent to download it cos I have to install again. Can't watch downloads without data. These are just a few issues with this app. The only reason I havent permanently uninstalled it is because it's the only way I can catch up... When it decides to work. Frustrating is an understatement.

I tried a few times to get onto the site you recommended but all I get is 'this site could not be reached'. So..... Still no use. This app has gone again gone down the drain. Trying to watch anything is like pulling teeth.... A painful process. Nothing stays on for longer than a few seconds before it's gone again. Unacceptable!!! It's not worth it for the amount I'm paying as a premium member. I'm not even able to open the app. I click on it and the screen just disappears😡

Great app if you like headaches. Constant logouts for no reason, Constant buffering, App crashes frequently, App freezes frequently, Extremely slow, Live tv isn't, Out of synch with schedule, Extremely poor customer service, Laughably bad chat bot, Worst streaming service by far, Repeated buffering on fast connection, Netflix, Amazon, Britbox and others are a 100 times better at a fracton on the cost and no headaches! Unresponsive customer service, Extremely buggy, Other than that it's great.

The new app is so bad. I feel like canceling my dstv. It struggles to load after changing channels. It take forever to load. It is not user-friendly at ALL! I AM NOT IMPRESSED. It is not my internet connection with the problem, after a whole day of struggeling with this new app. And all the trouble we have gotten with it. It is not worth the trouble for DSTV. I would rather reactivate my netflix app. Then deal with this. And we really loved DSTV live before this app. Very DISAPPOINTED

It's literally bad right now. Once you switch off your tv, you have to log out first and the re log in again on both your phone and tv because there won't be any channels showing... This is an everyday thing, at first I thought it was maybe a glitch... Please try improve your services, and the online chat takes about 4 hours to respond

Of all the video on demand apps this one is the worst. The quality of the streams constantly dip to below 480p when all others stay on 4k, the app disconnects every 20min and you have to restart the entire process to cast. You can't watch then cast while viewing the video, you first have to cast without seeing what you are casting. * (This is idiotic please fix this.) The app cuts internet connection and cannot continue again without exiting.[Edit 3 months later and none of the issues fixed -⭐]

My latest review as of 28/09/21Channels are not showing and they only appear when I delete and download the app. I have deleted it 3 times so far and I don't know for how long I can do it! My Earlier review. What is happening to this app. Two weeks it's just saying video play back error. What's the point of having this app if we can't use it! Now that you have worked on it, I hope it won't give us any more trouble.
