Non-intutive, lacks (quick) search, no voice support and misses out on a number of useful assistance a driver or passenger would need. It sems to be a hurriedly writen document that has been crammed into an app. The app seems to have no relation to the great product the BMW car is! Outsourced perhaps? Totally disappointed with the app. Does not give the digital experience even in a small way. Of this is the first touchpoint to customer interface and service then BMW needs to get it act together.

Information doesn't fully correspond a car model, even though it requires to input a VIN. Remote software upgrade is not available in the car at all (late 2019 530e), but both paper manual and this one describe nonexistent menu options. Technical data, fuel/electricity consumption is not in the manual at all - it sends you to the paper manual, but I couldn't find anything there either. I hate to admit the BMW is extremely poor with software and documentation for their own products.

Installed the app, but cannot log in. I am in Germany, but my android OS language is set to US English. The app redirects me to BMW USA (instead of German site) to log in, and there is no way to change country. How do I log in to German version? P.S. As a test, I was able to change OS language to Deutsch and then I could log in to the app. But as soon as I change it back to US English, it redirects me to BMW USA again. Obviously, I do not want to change the OS language because of one app. How do I set country to Deutschland for this app? Appreciate if you can fix that. Thanks!

more product promotion than costumer orientated. the only way to download a manual is through this app. bizar and very costumer unfriendly. the car is a good experience but this way of dealing with online manuals seems immature and shortsighted to me

This is one of the worst manuals I have ever used. In order to find what you are looking for you have to use the exact words and even then not all the words in the manual are searchable because they are not all in the search database

Managed to login with one android 11 phone, but haven't managed to login with another, also, android 11 phone (samsung s20). Same error ('Due to a system error, your request cannot be processed at the moment. Please try again later.') was on both phones, but somehow login passed on the first phone after repeatedly clicking 'Login' button. This action, unfortunately, did not work on second phone. First I tried to login with new user/pass, then with same user/pass as on the first phone. Tried rebooting repeatedly, cleaning cache, and nothing helped.. Haven't tried factory reset though because it's frustrating to configure the phone afterwards and one should not do it because of an poor app. App is good when working, but I can't give more then 2/5 or recommend this due to login problem.

A very disappointing owner's app. App is unfit for the purpose of providing owners with easy readable access to handbooks, manuals, and guides in a useful and practical means. App is restricted to landscape view only, even though all handbooks, manuals and guides are printed in book portrait mode, making it impossible to view even half a single page. PDF versions can only be viewed in the app making it equally unreadable and there is no function to print out pages for latter easy reference.

Very disappointing. Having used the previous BMW i Drivers Guide, I was forced into upgrading to this version. So, giving it a fair go, I installed and then logged in. So far so good. The app even recognised the VIN number of my vehicle from previous app, but then says there is no information to download for this vehicle! What, you've replaced what was a fairly good app with one which does absolutely noting for me and my i3 !!
