Same, lost cloud sync. App is quicker but badly lacking features. There is an offline option but you have to select each file to download and you don't get a choice where they go. I used cloud sync to listen to podcasts and delete what I didn't like, sync was perfect, an alternative would be to have delete option in DS Music, either way, offline and sync are vital!

After upgrading to DSM 7.0 I was told I have to use this app. Now I cannot sign in to Drive at all. Security Camera and Photo backups are working with the other apps. This is the only one that doesn't work. Edit: disabling HTTPS allowed me to sign in. However, this is insane and insecure. Additionally, I can only view files in the Drive, not files in any of my separately setup shares. This functionality is missing from this new app. Edit 2: you have to manually enable the shares from.

Same as so many others the ability to synchronise folders is a major issue. I'm not sure if Synology are reading the comments or taking any notice of the abysmally low score this app has, even the latest updates seem to ignore this gaping hole in the apps functionality. Can anyone suggest an Android app that might offer the right functionality, maybe if we point everyone to a rival app Synology might actually pay attention. Maybe not, these reviews must be driving hundreds of people away already

Nothing but glitches and issues with both phone and desktop applications. Fails to sync/old date, can access valuable information from road or on vacation. Layout is vague, unclear and support non-existent due to pandemic and lack of support staff. Terrible overall

They depreciated DSCloud and this is the replacement. Doesn't allow you to auto sync files from your mobile device which was very useful for keeping your mobile devices files and cherished photos safe. If you want to back up your thousands of photos using this app, you must upload them one by one. They have depreciated a useful app for a useless one. The Features are going backwards not forwards.

Synology just disabled DS Cloud without consent & said this app was the replacement. But it's not for or purpose, it doesn't do what DS Cloud did. Thousands of Synology users now unable to sync their files between devices. They need to do this NOW. Not when devs get round to doing something about it. Appalling move from Synology, meant to be experts in data and file storage, backup and synching.

Synology is forcing its users to move from Cloudstation/DS Cloud to Synology Drive. DS Cloud could natively sync your files in the Android and IOS file systems. Synology Drive is just a NAS browser. * Does not allow files to be edited * Does not allow files to be accessed offline, unless marked individually (which slows the app to a crawl) * Cannot open ZIP files * Doesn't work at all on my iPad. Don't move off Cloudstation until Synology Drive is fixed!!! OR move to Google Drive, it's very good

Only manual upload and only by selecting particular files or whole content of folder (files and subfolders), but im not able to select whole folder. But the largest disadvantage is the problem that it does not allow me to sync the required folder automatically as it was possible in DS Cloud. Synology took a large step back with this approach: i was using it for business, now i need to find the solution to finish the project 3 weeks before deadline. Not cool, not cool at all :(

It sucks. Synology is killing off all your clients that buy Synology NAS for the very reason in the first place where it allows DS Cloud to sync with it. The least you could do is replcate those functions in DS Cloud into Syn Drive before you roll out but instead you just leave all of us in the deep end of the pool! Don't you guys have any idea before implementing the DSM 7.0 and now we can't even roll back to DSM 6.0. Sometimes you maybe smart but don't try to be smart!

Well. I'll be blowed. They dumped a flawed but broadly usable app, DSCloud, the existence of which is the prime reason most of us bought our Synology NAS and replaced it with Synology Drive that won't let you edit and resync your documents at all! They actually progressed backwards by a couple of decades and don't seem to have noticed the problem. If they had fixed DSCloud the result might have been exactly what we want. I feel really conned by this company. All promises but no delivery.
