The lessons are fun and detailed, with a lot of demo problems to help your pattern recognition. So far, I've played games on "Beginner" and "Strong Beginner." Beginner level is crazy easy and leaves pieces hanging constantly, probably for people who are new to chess and barely know how the pieces move. Strong Beginner ups the challenge enough to play like a normal game, although you get plenty of chances to practice your forks, pins, etc. I look forward to building up to harder challenges!

This game was great as a beginner taught you the things you need to know. But when you try to advance the strong beginner it completely kills your confidence. I try to other sites and could be the computer on high levels. But on this game you go to strong beginner and get completely annihilated which makes you not want to even try anymore. Overall it would not suggest this app more than maybe a couple weeks while you learn because anything past that you're just going to want to quit.

Besides for some spelling problems and wrong words used, it is enjoyable. It would be better if they made it easier to go back one move at a time in the lessons because sometimes it is hard to see if it just took a piece or not. Also apparently they do not really know what the word "free" means, and just know that it is often used as a con, because their "free" lessons cost money.

This is nice and informative app about chess, 2 days ago I didn't know much about chess, I always see people playing chess, deep down I also wanted to play like them. But I didn't have much luck. Now I can play this game, and kinda feel proud of myself. Kudos to developers for making such an wonderful app. Now I can flex on normies, I'm not gonna but I could.

The app has definitely made me a better player, I love that it reviews mistakes from past games. Can't figure out how to update my subscription for a longer period.

It's very obnoxious in that the bot will refuse to concede when they have no chance of victory. You can take it down to just the king and they'll stubbornly move until a draw is forced. No human player would ever put up with this. It's unfair and unsportsmanlike.
Brian Braden
Great game and wonderful advice although some times like 45% of the time you get close to the end of the game and the board resets and he says oh sorry something went wrong so idk what that's about but other than that it's great

Overall decent but it's annoying that the achievements aren't set up so you know what your playing for plus I beat every level and completed the last lesson and it still says 90 out of 95 points earned. The lack of clarity is a major distraction.

Okay so,, the game is good and teaches you some really good stuff. But there's instances where the player (me) end up winning but the game counts it as a draw. Or it doesn't let me make a move.

I really like the coaching. Well worth the upgrade. hope to see a multiplayer system that is integrated with with achievements etc.. in the future
