Domination is a game of world war that is a bit like the well known board game based on strategy and risk. It lets you play online, has many game options and includes hundreds of maps. Now available in 17 languages: Catalan, German, Chinese, Finnish, Ukrainian, Galician, Dutch, Polish, English, French, Serbian, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish. NO ADS! Licensed under GPL, full source code and PC/Mac versions of the game available from http://domination.sf.net/ Internet access is needed for downloading extra maps and online play, but is not needed for a single-player or hot-seat game. Italian game option gives you a maximum of 3 dice to defend, otherwise you have a maximum of 2 for defence. The kind of information I normally need is what map,game mode,cards mode,start mode did you create the game with. The AI does not cheat with better dice, the project is open source, the code has been reviewed by many people and they all agree the dice are completely random for all players, the game engine does not know if its a human playing or AI when the dice are rolled. sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you are not, just like with real dice.

I tried the game several times, against different difficulty opponents. In all of them the computer concentrated on me exclusively. The random placement of troops gave 1 or 2 computer players complete continents. How is that random? The game is built around being favorable to the AI, not fun in the least.

AI always wins - even in easy AI mode... so basically it doesn't matter what you do... you just watch yourself die EVERYTIME... honestly how shall this be fun to play? uninstalled.

There are plenty of custom boards to play on all with interesting new exploits however the die in the game have clear bias towards higher difficulty AI. I would dare say that Higher difficulty means rigged dice instead of improved strategy

Used to love this game, its now unplayable, the dice throws spoil the game, attacking a 2 with 14 and i lost???, a 4 attacking my 13 and i lost and the best one... attacking a 1 with my 14 and i lost. Impossible odds. Uninstalled.

Best risk game. Tons of extra maps, maybe hundreds. Sometimes it is hard to read county on the card, some custom maps countries are not labeled, as well as points for continents.

really a nice game with a very wide possibility of settings, just add a cursor to position the troops like the one for the movements (it can happen to have to do more than 100 clicks to put them all) and add an option for which selecting a state (also if not possessed) it is possible to see what its boundaries are, in the new maps it is often unclear. It would then be nice to have the game available in multiple languages. The graphics are a bit overstepped and it will be good to renew them.

Not sure why but no matter what set up I use or how difficult I set the AI (bots) I have yet to win once. Im not new to the game and have played for over ten years board game and online. I don't always win but I have never ever lost back to back ten games in a row. So dumb how this is a game not even fun for the user. Sad :(

Nearly great, problem is the nonsensical and kamikaze moves the computer makes do not mimic human initiative. That makes it impossible to play using strategy. Eg, you set up a continent, have 30 on each border, then the computer gattacks the border with 5 troops and takes you down to 4. Doesn't make any sense. Humans would not attack 5 vs 30. And they definitely wouldn't win such a battle!

Its an overall good game, its just the fact that it gets kind of old and boring, which isnt the games fault. You have several hundred maps to choose from, but not all of them really make sense. This game takes time and patience, so make sure you are actually into the game before you begin an online game, as they normally last over an hour. I give it a four star review because the AI are weird. The Ai are either super bad or make some incredible moves. The dice also act in the AIs favor alot.👍

The problem with this game in human versus computer is that the dice rolls are always loaded against the human player. When human attacks, especially for key countries, chances are you will get lower dice scores than your opponent and you will frequently be beaten even when you have superior numbers. Same goes for defending against a computer. It will get better dice rolls and you will always lose even with equal or somewhat superior numbers. Poor game mechanics indeed.
