Do Not Disturb (DND 2.0) App enables smart phone users to register their mobile number under DND to avoid Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC)/ Telemarketing Calls / SMS. This is based on TRAI, “Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulations, 2010”. TRAI’s UCC Regulations, Amendments can be seen at: http://www.trai.gov.in/telecom/consumer-initiatives/unsolicited-commercial-communication. The App helps you: 1. Set your DND preferences. All telemarketers are required to obey your preferences within 7 days of their being set. 2. Lodge a UCC complaint with your service provider. The Complaint sms sent against spam sms/call will be sent to 1909 in the format prescribed by TRAI and will not be charged. The Regulations require action to be taken against offending telemarketer within 7 days, which could lead to fines and/or disconnection of line. 3. Check the status of complaints filed by you. The App requires permission to access your address book to distinguish between calls/messages from your saved contacts and those from unknown telemarketers. You contact list is not uploaded to the backend, nor shared in any manner. The new release has the following additional features: · An intelligent spam detection engine (for SMS only) to assist the subscriber in reporting · Crowdsourcing of data about offending messages and calls to speed up detection of unregistered telemarketers · Updates about action taken on complaints within the App · Easier interface and set up Note: In MIUI Phones, permission has to be added manually for getting list of messages from header like XY-AAAAAA. For this, Please go to app permissions and click on other permissions. You will find Service SMS field which is disabled. Ver 3.0 of the app does not show the call logs and the best part is there is no response from developers. I have not been able to raise the complaints for more than 3 months now. Even after sending multiple emails to the team there has neither been an update to fix the issue nor a response regarding the same. The issue is on the OnePkus 8T, I am able to raise complaints for SMSes as the list shows up, but unable to see the call logs. I uave given all the required permissions to the app.

Edit: The call log has stopped appearing in the app and "Report Voice UCC" feature cannot be used at all as it doesnt show any calls. Pretty much useless now. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling and re login, but doesn't work. The new version is super slow and takes literally minutes to load. The confirmation for popup is required on every login and the option to hide it is not retained. I really miss the speed of the previous version.

Don't you even do the basic tests on the app before releasing? I have raised numerous complaints with this app and did get a call from the service provider saying that the call records don't match. On looking closely noticed that the call records in the app were swapped between the sims. as in call i received on sim 1 were showing as received on sim 2. so there is no way the service provider will take action. The creators of this app should be sued first for fooling general public. Pathetic!

Practically unusable app ! It has been around 3 month from posting no update. Probably the worst update till now. In dual sim phone, call entries are visible in under other sim and vice versa. e.g.- sim 1 call log are visible under sim2, and sim 2 calls are visible under sim 1 in DND app. So, if try to complain against it, operator will reject it as CDR don't match to that operator. Also, sometimes app fails to fetch complaint status and empty window pops up. Poor development done !

What's the point of an app that wants you to report an unwanted call but can't read the call log? As if they don't want you to raise any complaints. Tge troubleshooting step says if the call log is not visible, update the app. And then, you come to play store and see there are no updates available. So, as asked.. What's the point..??

This app was fantastic till last update. Since then it dose not show unsaved numbers in app call log list, hence one cannot pick up the number for complaint. App itself decides that wether a number is spam or otherwise. I noticed this after getting a call from ivr call from normal number twice, team needs to fix it. All numbers other than saved contacts should appear in app call log list.

The app doesn't work anymore. It says I need to enter phone numbers. After entering phone number I get a Java error string cannot be construed to JSONobject.. How can you release such an app without any testing. It fails at such basic login itself. After few days I was able to login, but now it says server error when I try to log complaint

Was working find but now closes abruptly at the last stage of reporting (after hitting COMPLAIN button and selecting the SIM). Will change the rating if this issue is fixed immediately as I have an UCC to report NOW! EDIT: App works now except for BSNL hence increased the rating to 3*. Fix reporting issue on BSNL and get 5 stars.

Expected from a government company... App has stopped showing spam calls so you can't complaint... So less work for the trai... Even after so many people complaining for months no action taken what action they might be taking on spammers is a question... This is why we all are receiving 20 calls a day for loan... As trai is on 3 months lunch break. Naa rahega complaint toh naa rahega kaam is the motive of trai.

Using this app for past 3-4 months now The app works fine for text messages but the call data is not shown hence cannot file a complaint for unsolicited calls. I am using OnePlus 8T and using latest version of application. Please fix it as spam calls are more annoying than text messages.
