The main idea was to have simple app to turn on/off "Do Not Disturb" mode. I needed mini app accessed from screen widget to easily set quiet mode for important business meetings. For the first use, you'll have to set permissions to toggle "Do Not Disturb" mode and app will open settings screen for you. Just set app permission and click back. From that moment, app will be allowed to toggle quiet/normal mode. In Android 6.0 (like my Samsung S7), app permission path is on the following location: Settings -> Lock screen and security -> Other security settings -> Do not disturb permission And is possible to customize how DnD mode will behave - like without any exceptions (as it's for Alarms). Just open the settings on the following path and set: Settings -> Do not disturb -> Allow exceptions

- Newer android versions had strange behavior like Huawei P20 pro (reset "Allow interruptions" when opening DND settings) or Nexus emulator (DND grayed out). App should leave settings intact and user can change priority settings when DND mode is turned on. Hope this release will resolve problems and toggling DND will work as it was initially intended.

Doesn't turn off bluetooth. Also, Should toggle immediately, but doesn't. Normal/quiet stays.blocking screen. Keeps resetting back to off. Had to uninstall due to unusability.

Edit: Thanks for your response, Darko. This app is exactly what I have been looking for. Another app that I use calls this app when my phone is plugged in during a set time of day, and again when it is unplugged - perfect. Version 2 (released January 27, 2020) seems to have corrected the issue where the app would change calls and messages exception settings to "all" on my Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android 9. All exceptions now stay the same, as they should. Thanks!!

This app allowed me to make my bixby button actually useful (android 10, one ui ver 2.1). Finally I can have an external toggle for muting my phone, one less thing to lust over an iPhone for. If you go into bixby settings, you can set a single quick press of the bixby button to open any app on your phone. Ergo, download this app, give permission, set to the quick press, and presto! Instant mute switch. Thank you so much for making this!!

Good App, but not exactly what the world needs! There's hundreds of apps like this in the Play Store (some better, some worse) but instead of the Widget just ON or OFF, it needs to be for a (user pre-defined) period of time. So as you go to bed you hit the Widget and (for me) it turns DND ON for seven hours and then AUTOMATICALLY turns DND OFF seven hours later. That would save me forgetting to turn it off in the morning and seeing twenty-seven missed calls at lunchtime !!

I'm uninstalling this because it did not stop calls from coming in and ringing but it also hides the incoming call notifications and ability to see who is calling, and so you can't answer the call that is ringing or vibrating. I forgot I turned this DND on and for two days didn't know why my phone stopped displaying incoming calls so I searched and searched to find a solution. Not using this app solved that problem.

Didn't help phone still turn on automatically the do not disturb....this app was not helpfull at all

Does what it's supposed to do - toggles DND off and on. The limitations mentioned in other reviews are inherent in the DND function of Android and not controlled by the app. Only 4 stars because the icon does not reflect the DND setting. But it's still better than using Settings to make the switch.

Stays on which I want but doesn't use my ringtones but one you can barely hear and no settings to change it.

It works... BUT it is very easy to forget what the current state of the device is. It would be far better if there was some indication on the icon. Something simple like red if DND is on or green if it is off. Uninstalled.

My phone's built-in "Don Not Disturb" toggle on notification bar was fixed & bricked to "Alarms only" forever! no restart or no option in the settings could fix it, I tried all for last few days...but, your app solved it like a Magic within a second! Thanks!
