Minimizing the app temporary will cause the video to stop loading completely, forcing me to close the app or need to go back to the search engine. Moreover, there are time where even after i found the channel again, the video list of that channel simply wont load for some reason, forcing me to close the app again. Only been using this for 10 minutes and i already have the urge to uninstall it.

This is one of the worst apps I've ever used. It randomly restarts videos, fast forwarding and rewinding are a nightmare. It would be nice if there was a download feature like on YouTube so I can listen to my shows while driving to work.

When I first downloaded this app it worked fine and I liked it. Now i can't play anybody's live streams. It's just the circle of death. Now I know clear the cache, uninstall/reinstall. Done all that. And still it doesn't play. So for now I'm uninstalling and maybe just go on my computer. If it gets fixed I'll change the star.

Sh*tty app that won't let you copy links or open them with your real browser. Probably China trying to steal your login credentials through their sh*tty built in browser. Also cannot handle changing between WIFI and cellular, have to force close the app and restart it.

Painful to get it to work properly in fullscreen. You need to be very fast to tap anything in fullscreen and to get out of fullscreen is sometimes just impossible. In fullscreen you get ANNOYING sub gift announcements all the time which fills half the screen and you have to constantly dismiss it. VERY ANNOYING! This is not how you get viewers! Stop it!

Makes my UI crash and it goes into a loop of crashing which end up needing a restart of the mobile. It seems it is the news feeds that crash it. If youtube did not delete my videos it can be seen on my youtube channel as it continued to record my screen even with the issue.

This app is horrible, i have to close it out and restart it constantly. If you pause a video to do something on another app it will restart from the beginning on replays and skip to current on live streams 50% of the time so you always have to keep track of how far you are into a show and the search doesn't work half the time either, type and hit enter and nothing happens.

Replays of your favorite program are often unavailable so if you missed the live stream you're going to have to wait until D live deems you worthy to watch it. And when you're watching a replay, d live holds your entire phone hostage by not allowing you to minimize their app unless it's a live stream, so you can do nothing with your phone if you want to watch your favorite creator. You also cannot post in the comments unless you are a paid member.

It's buggy. Chest mostly doesn't work. Search often doesnt work. Stream quality selector often doesn't work. Also, allow more room for favorite emotes/stickers, and allow a search function for said emotes/stickers. That is all. Edit: Chat often doesn't show as well. 2nd Edit: Yeah, now nothing is playing. Only chat is visible. Constantly buffering. Get a half second before it buffers forever afterwards. Useless.

Needs work, but if you have the patience to read the user guidelines, have a laptop, or desktop of some kind, and can use the app AND the laptop to fully utilize the service, it is still a great app. I like the Chest system, and the lemons system. I dislike having to use a second app to stream.

It would be better if it had the option to turn off your phone screen while listening to streams. Shutting the screen off stops the stream. Until that feature is added, it is easier and more efficient to use Dlive in Brave browser, which allows it to play in the background and whole the phone is off.

I'm being extremely generous with the rating since I'm hoping DLive will be a free speech permanent replacement for Youtube and its censorship. The chat didn't work on a Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet and it wants to run in portrait mode (although landscape orientation worked while playing a stream). I finally just started it in Firefox browser desktop mode.

When it works it's great. Problem doing is I keep losing chat ability. I can't see chat comments for any streamers and I can't chat. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall Dlive but the same thing happens again in less than an hour. Refresh or log out and back in does nothing. Frustrating.

There needs to be a chromecast feature to send the stream to a roku TV or other smart device. Also, replay should save watch history or save how far you are through video. Replay videos also don't work in the mini player, which would be a nice feature. Also, no way to listen in background. These features are essential for a good streaming app.

Kept getting spammed with "Hello" and directed to an empty stream from some random person I have never seen nor have I ever subscribed to at 02:07 (-06:00 GMT) several (8) times. The application appears to be corrupted or broken, either way, it is not advisable to download, and I will not personally use their service until I get an apology and an explanation as to why they think this is acceptable.

This app have some nice features like it allow us watch streams from a particular category, we can run this app in background in small window also but it's user interface is quite complex. Everything looks messed up. It doesnot even allow us to watch streams on different quality settings as only few video quality settings are available starting from 360p. We can't watch streams on lower video quality.

Uninstalled it after it updated and pushed non-stop notifications I can't disable. I know for a fact there WAS a setting that prevented push notifications previously (I've had this installed for about a year, no random dings) but since a day ago I've been getting notifications about a movie I don't care about and there's no option to stop that in settings. The site is great and has fantastic streamers, but the App is pure trash. Without background play having the App installed causes more problems than it's worth. Just use a Browser that supports background play and visit DLive with that. Much better than this trash-app. Nothing malicious with the App, just not really a point to in without background play.

Time for a new review: they added a opposite vertical video position which made it perfect,especially for some speaker spots-sound. Nothing to complain,been enjoying it about 2 months now,quiet addictive and fun community, love it. Edit: someone from the staff shadow-banned my favorite streamer for "cursing", and also I just received a notification from someone I have unfollowed. Was good while it lasted,bye! The app has been extremely buggy sometimes the chat or the replays are just totally blank. There was a period of like 2 months where the app wouldnt even open unless I clicked on a notification outside of the app. It also absolutely destroys yoyr phone battery probabky because its using it to mine crypto. Last but not least Dlive is censorious of bad words which is just childish.

Can't find the creators I follow, (and saved on desktop). Also searching for a specific creator by their user name yields no results, while they are live streaming. It's really good for what it does. BUT you can't minimize it and listen in while doing other necessary business on your phone. Basically that cheats the showhosts and users. This is a very simple statement and does not require restating in any email to developers.

This company has flexible rules meaning what one rule means to one streamer means something else to another. Some streamers get away with A LOT more than others. I personally know a streamer who's in the top 1% of DLive who is completely within the terms of service to be banned for seven days with no proof and with no real explaination. This person has remained unverified and has NEVER been promoted. They will however promote streamers with less than 10 average viewers. DLive can go frig itself,

the app runs smooth, I just wish as a broadcaster we had the ability to change our stream titles and also in order to see your live chat you have to come out of the app and go back in. if your doing everything from mobile. my laptop is low end, so I cant stream from it and have a web browser open, that's why with the app it helps changing stream titles and having the live chat working on the cell phones. also I see theres a little red icon that shows viewers, but no way to see the actual id?

The livestreaming works fine, but the replay player is HORRIBLE. It's almost impossible to interact with the screen during replays without completely losing your place, and if you change apps for even a second the video resets.

If you have problems logging in, make sure you have chrome and no ad or popup blocker on so that your lino account can connect. I like the app for the most part; they just need a way to turn of the incessant reward noises, play streams in the background (like youtube), and a dark theme. But for a startup streaming company, I think they are doing a fantastic job. Great work!

Mediocre experience. Portrait mode only, no settings for stream resolutions, no audible notification when a lino point is available, and app logs out every time it closes. The only good thing about Dlive is the Lino chests, and even then, the amount of time required to earn one increases exponentially (5th chest requires 1hr+). Very little going for the app, and Dlive in general.

I am really enjoying my time on DLive, and knowing I can reach out to creators I enjoy watching and chatting with via an app that is sturdy, well designed, and aesthetically pleasing is super awesome. some sites like Mixer have a very poor app, yet they have been around longer and owned by Microsoft! An alright streaming service. I dislike how you can't scroll up in chat without being forced back to the bottom when someone else comments. Also impossible to sign up by email as the mail doesn't send by the time the code in it expires. If these are fixed, I would give another star. Edit: The more I use this, the more bugs I find. Now I can't delete favourite gifs that are on the first and second page. I would have to delete all of my gifs to delete the ones I don't want anymore.

Really need to improve the Replay feature. I don't have the best internet connection, so I sometimes timeout. But when I come back, I have to restart it allllllll the way from the beginning, and the rewind controls for mobile devices does NOT make it any better. Make it so that the site remembers the timestamp that you left off and have better control of fast forward and rewinding for mobile, (like double tap a side of the screen to go forward or back for 10 secs) then the score will be better.

Great concept. Excellent execution. Love the app. It makes me happier than anything just by watching. There are problems with bugs and UI keeping this from 5 stars like Sometimes when the lino is given out a loading box comes and never goes even after the giveway. The video's UI and title/label stuff disappear when you click share then click off. Can't copy text from chat. Can't click links. Can't delete favorite emotes to add new ones. This list will change with the app as well as my rating.

Love it! The app lets you change volume and brightness by swiping up or down on either side of the screen. However, swiping along the screen to rewind is not executed as nicely. Since there is no minimisation button one needs to swipe up from the bottom of the screen for navigation buttons to show up and DLive ap reads this swiping as 'rewind time' :D Maybe add minimisation button as well? Split screen would be handy to have as well. :)

the footage is smooth with like no lag for one. however, the search engine sucks. I can't find gameplay of god of war for instance. only looks for content creators. the catagories are too minimal also. until it fixes itself, ain't no way I'm watching a 10 yr old play fortnite/pubg/robloks/minecraft or a grown a** man play minecraft

Installed today, pretty good app so far. Only thing I wish it had was the ability to have a picture in picture type of thing or split screen capabilities so you can do other stuff while watching like with some other streaming services, but that's not really that big of a deal. Can be a little glitchy at times and sometimes a bit slow if you don't have a good network connection, but still a good app.

Very nice app, but please take this damn chest to either old one or create another chest. You can do another chest like the linos are saved in chest as much as the the time you wait on stream. Do you open chest in 1 seconds, you get that much linos. You waited 10 minutes, you get the amount of linos you should earn in 10 minutes. I think this idea would be the best. But this new chest with this update... It could only obligate the growth of smaller channels I think...

Honestly it's a great app. Great community and great streamers. Rewards the viewers for engaging in chat and the stream in the form of the chest (forgot what its exactly called). Streamers decide when to open and it splits to all the viewers. Reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because I think you should be able to change the resolution (144p 240p and so on...) other than that it's a great app!

too many bugs. there are major bugs in this that's preventing the app from being successful and it's making people not want to come back. I even emailed all the bugs weeks ago and never got a response back. this is the type of app to make a lot of money then not care about it. that's the feeling I get. the updates never fix any of the major bugs like no individual notifications and the chat is too sensitive when scrolling and it can only go in portrait mode on one side

I basically like the website, but this app has terrible bugs. Most of the time, the drop-down feature of a channel simply does not appear, preventing me from interacting with the live chat, watching replays, highlights, or seeing the "about" page. When I can watch replays, the replays will sometimes skip back to the beginning while I'm still watching it, and it's difficult to then find the place where you were, given the very imprecise nature of the time measurement feature on a replay. Etc...

This app provides a great streaming experience with a system to reward people for watching long amounts of time. However, it is missing the most basic features that any video playing app should have like rotating the screen when you turn it or hiding the home bar while in full screen. These issues lessen the experience for me despite the snappy loading speeds and great responsivenss of everything else. Overall still a great app though, please support this app so they may continue to improve it.

I see lot of people saying it takes minutes to setup account and it impossible. I think they fixed it I had no issue getting in. The UI is good and better looking. No lag with chat. Only problem is when clicking a steamer it takes about 5 seconds to play it and sometimes it low quality. TBH twitch has that as well. There is also no ads which is good. So far alright site and app.

I will simply say that DLive is a fine livestreaming service, and worth a download. This brings me to my primary point; it is, as a Pewdiepie subscriber, a necessity to download this app. It's like Twitch for a Fortnite gamer. But that's the problem, and the stunter of any potential growth of this app: even in their title on the Play Store, they advertise, "Watch PewDiePie". It can't become a service exclusively used by Pewdiepie subscribers, that is if you, as a company, want to grow. Thank you.

The only complaint is that for some live streams the user cannot set the stream quality. When the internet speed is low i would usually stream in a lower stream quality so it doesnt buffer. but because i cant set the stream quality i am not able to watch the stream.

I use it on my phone and the app crashes at the worst times. Even with perfect network services and WiFi. OK I am editing this now. Make that 3 crashes and 4 times going to complete unresponsive and having to force stop the app. I am trying to become a streaming member but this has to be fixed. It doesn't matter which stream I'm watching but it mainly happens when watching Dahboo7's channel. It doesn't matter what I'm doing it constantly crashes.

Love the platform but this app needs A LOT of work. The gesture controls are annoying and completely useless. I can't even swipe down the notification shade without changing the volume or the brightness. There's no way to navigate to the people you follow to watch old vods with manually searching for their channel. And the best part is you can't even minimize the app without the vod restarting when you open it abck up again, so make sure you remember the timestamp. Love DLive, hate the app.

I'm looking for alternatives to Youtube. The app works well enough. This app is much better than the Bitchute app, but still lacks 1 very crucial feature. When the phone is locked, the audio/video stop playing. Which makes it useless for me most of the time. I suppose this might not be an issue for others if the content they watch is all game streamers (which appears to be almost all of the Dlive community). This isn't the particular content that I'm looking for anyway.

Decided to get the app because there is some kind of "treasure chest" that can only be looted in app (and not from browser), but sign up or first sign in fail every single time, making the app literally unusable. Something about verification code incorrect... luckily dlive is trash destined to fail anyway, so no big loss.

Relatively basic but solid platform & app. However, a frustrating issue with the app is the lack of picture-in-picture mode for replays. You get PIP for live streams but not replays. This should be resolved. Also, a suggestion: There should also be a tab dedicated to replays from channels I follow. Currently, easiest way is to go to your profile > following > [then find the user] > [go to their profile] > replays. While not a ton of work, the extra steps are unnecessary.

Great streaming service for those who are learning how to stream for beginner. Joined because of pewdiepie. But there is no replay button on android which means i can't watch past broadcast videos. it would be better if the devs make treasure chest on website. how can the streamer cash out lino points to actual money? They should explain it step by step. Good work. And i can't see whom i did follow. I would give 4 stars if they fixed all that.

I can only give it one star since any stream that I try to view, constantly buffers. Samsung Galaxie works great with streams from other apps or youtube. Notified them about the issue. I was assured that somebody would get back with me, but never happened. I would gladly give 5 stars if it worked for me. The wheel keeps on spinning. Oh well, glad that a few others can use the app.

However, I am very frustrated since every time I try to chat, a pop up telling me to share the stream comes up. Even after I share it to literally every option they give, I still can't chat. Can't find any support to help me find out what to do.
