    Constantly buffering on some channels. Sometimes freezing up and need to switch channels in order to fix. No matter how many times I chat with someone we always have issues. Just tired of paying for tons of equipment in order to watch TV with the other monopoly companies. So we basically stream everything. Maybe need to try another service. Have had the service since the direct TV days. You'd figure a large company like att would get it right?

    now i have had AT&T now going on 1 1/2 years. I have had trouble from the very beginning up to and including today. I can now get it on my phone and just cast it to the TV (an older Samsung Smart TV, lol). That's all I can do! Fortunately, I can get the HBO Go app on it and can now watch GOT that way on my Samsung TV. It has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!!!

    super saturday night with lady gaga As long as I had my direct app I enjoyed watching my programs now that we have the new AT&T TV it will not let me log in it keeps telling me to log in and watch but it will not accept my code. And due to the Covid-19 you cannot call and complain because you are on hold for 45 minutes or longer nobody comes to the phone to pick up this is the most god-awful think I have ever downloaded

    app Had a great plan I was grandfathered into, and then they decided to have a payment issue, and blamed me for it. Which is the same card I use for everything, but after 2 years of being a loyal subscriber they do this to me? Moved on to Hulu, couldn't believe the difference in picture quality. HULU IS A WHY BETTER app, better picture quality, better sound, less errors and messed up sound becoming out of sync.

    login Total waste of time... signed up in myatt app because their internet is my only real option... Not to signing up I was advised to download this app in sign in to start streaming. Well something went down with my subscription that after 3 hours who could not resolve resulting in me canceling the subscription in wasting almost half of my day... AT&T has never cared they will never care and they won't even bothered were tins like they care about the end user.. YouTube TV and hulu are both great

    tv now.t App for Android is terrible. It crashes on launch and despite three days working with tech support, there is no resolution. Both sling tv and Hulu work perfectly, so I plan to change. Very disappointing app from AT&T!

    now channels The Roku app isn't that great and the mobile app is even less impressive. For starters you can't leave the app and continue to watch, it immediately stops steaming. So if you like to multi-task, this is not the app for you. It's a shame because they've made some improvements to their mobile app and their v.o.d. and dvr stuff is much easier to stream/control now but the lack of freedom to view out of app really lowers it's appeal for me. The connection quality is also very poor.

    Their tv quality is very good but if you have a problem forget it; the only chat you can use is a bot that doesn't help and don't bother calling customer service as they are apparently non-existent.

    From what would of definetly been a five for five recommend comes a 1 and wouldnt give it that at this point if it wasnt for the local news channels. With the removal, or unavailability, suddenly, of three primary channels from the lineup, Travel channel, RFDtv and A&E are the ones we have noticed. The primary reason we switched from cable to streaming were these channel availabilities.

    Does not work on all Android TV models! Even though ATT's box is built with Android TV, even though ATT allows the app to run on a handful of Android TV models, and even though this app works on Android 5.0+ tablets and phones. Unfortunately I bought a new 50-inch 4K Android TV (model A515CV-UMC by Sceptre) specifically so I could watch my new ATT TV service without having any attachment dongles or boxes or computers, but I can't find this AT&T TV app in the google play store from my Android TV.

    Whyyyyyy is my direct TV not working!! Everytime I try to long in it wont let me. It keeps saying it has to make a few more tweaks before it's ready. I PAY FOR THIS APP AND THE PRICE WENT UP BUT U GUYS CANT FIX THE PROBLEM. The customer service is absolutely horrible!! So who is it that I can get ahold of to fix this on going problem!!!! I was told when I signed up it would only be 10 dollars for the first 3 months then it would be 20. Now its 65 dollars and it DOESNT EVEN WORK!

    as a totally blind user of TalkBack accessibility on Android, this update is phenomenal! it is blatantly clear that AT&t is listening to our feedback when it comes to accessibility. thank you guys. that means a lot! the only thing I would like to see is the ability to browse the guide and see shows that are upcoming. not just ones currently on the air. kind of like on the Android box. do that, and also implement audio description ability, and this app will be perfect!

    This app has real loading problems even after the updates. It's worse! I can't watch my prerecorded shows without loading issues. This is the only app that does that! This is a waste of my money PERIOD! I will be cancelling very soon since that ya'll can't get it together. Loading issues every night

    the June 15th 2019 update made direct tv now even worse. The picture lags more than ever now and on every device. Its like watching and max headroom. The frame rate is far less than 25 frames per second. Edit: 1 year later, June 20th 2020. Still can't mirror cast without lagging.

    Ugh! Nothing but loading wheel! I have to wait for commercials to load as well. Cant skip through ads, either! Seems like every 5 minutes of show there is anywhere from 4 to 7 commercials. If commercials don't load right on the last ad in series, the app loads all of them again! You watch all of them 2x sometimes 3x during 1 ad break. Sometimes more ads than programming. App is cumbersome to navigate. Contract for 1 yr, ATT gets money no matter how bad the app is.

    It back on track of being an enjoyable experience, now that we are pass the beta test. I'm presently goning through another freezing issue, reminence my beta problem. "I can't watch anything for more than 20 or 60 minute before the app freezes or stops playing all together." I also notice that apps like SiFi does not fully acknowledge my att&tv access. Is this an causality of the Directvnow switch over. Hopefully I can find an solution to the freeze.

    The app still behaves like a janky beta app from a startup company. Too many times this app messes up and ruins whatever I'm watching. If I change channels and then go back to the original channel, it's usually 3 minutes behind schedule. Changing channels multiple times has no effect on the original channel, meanwhile ever channel I change to keeps the correct schedule. It's quite infuriating to have the show I want to watch 3 minutes behind schedule from everything else that's broadcasting.

    I've had at&t tv for 3 years now. For the past year all it does is buffer and right in the middle of a movie it stops and I get error message sorry for your inconvenience. 50001-001. It's sad that I am paying for a service that mind you at the drop of a hat continues to charge more even though I was told I would only be paying $10 when I signed up. It continues to mess up. Its ridiculous.

    My wife and I both have the AT&T LG V60(128gb), and neither of our att TV apps on our phones have worked correctly since att TV service purchase/activation.. Everytime we attempt to open the att TV app on either of our phones(both of which have different google accounts loaded) we receive a message saying the app needs updated. We then attempt update the app via our play store only to receive another message saying the app cannot be installed. Our phones have plenty of storage, and we constantly monitor our network/wifi signals.. Which means there's a app-software issue.. Fix ASAP, im payin very GOOD money for this option.

    This review is for the AT&T TV NOW service. They offer multiple tiers you can choose from and at the higher tiers they offer the most comprehensive channel lineup of any of the internet tv providers. They offer a generous amount of DVR space included. I haven't had any major technical issues while using it on my fire tv. I believe the product itself is excellent. But you do have to pay for that, its only downside is that it's a lot more expensive than other internet tv providers.

    In home service; All local channels buffer multiple times throughout the day. Also channels go out at random while watching a show saying Don't have permission or lose connection w/ the Wifi!! Mobile app works 85% better.

    The Software can not recognize the system - I set it to show location. I can go shopping on the internet and they know my location however not AT&T TV. It was working well enough once upon a time. Now what is the problem I checked everything it asked for I tried doing it wireless then told me I was too slow I have way over 100MB/sec now after I went Ethernet (wired) to see if it quickened the pace I get pressed for location again it refused to continue forever asking for location whatever I do for AT&T I tried place after place I could find to share location some where there is a place to choose wireless or wired to show location its set to show location in every place I tried and tried and tried to find.

    I am cancelling today. And return equipment asap. Was never told that you required a direct tv to access tv or that without ditrect tv I would be charged for data. Exceedingly ineffective. Sales rep did not tell me anything amd said all I meeded to do was follow set up instruction and it woul connect immediately. I feel cheated. And lied to.

    Password not working! Tired of having to log in 50 times then get an error pop up on my Samsung Smart TV : ERROR Please make sure your User ID and Password are both correct and try again [201]. WHAT??? It IS CORRECT! Plus, the damn thing won't show me the option of "view password" to be sure I didn't have a typo. I'm pretty sure there's not, as I typed it twice already. Not sure why my PW vanished either. HACKED?! I pay $60 a month for this & can't even watch TV. Not to mention the commercials

    first of all I want to thank DirecTV Now, for the cheap service. I always say you get what you paid for. Just I feel like I have been ripped off lately cause my serv ice didn't have the gonads to step up to CBS and keep it on our programming. A lot of my shows were on CBS so now I have to pay extra to watch on yet another app. I'm asking all the customers that it happened to you, don't y'all think we need a discount instead of awe so sorry you don't have CBS anymore, just saying .

    I think it's really poor customer service when you advertise that I can watch my recorded shows anywhere but yet I can't smartcast it to my TV. I have to watch it on my phone. That move AT&T is yet another reason I don't care for you!! It also won't let me screenshot from my phone which would be one of the only reasons to put on my phone!! And considering your employees should have plenty of time to deal with it during Covid19 drama. I suggest you get your app developers cracking on that!!

    One of worst streaming experience that I've seen... Whenever interstitial ads have been inserted, the steaming of the original program is messed up, completely stuttering until fully restarted (on Chromecast Ultra). The link with the Chromecast is lost very consistently after some time, requiring to fully close the application and restart it. The UI of the application is also very frustrating if not downright buggy at times. Sloppy work to say the least.

    I don't recommend AT&T TV. Meanwhile I still use this service at home on the amazon firestick, it works 75% of the time and is not a cheap service, but still I refuse to go back to optimum cable. I have a new AT&T cell phone by Lg with the tv app preinstalled and it does not work, it will not update in the Google play store. 5/29 update installed, now my AT&T TV APP WORKS PERFECT ON PHONE. THANKS FOR THE UPDATE.

    I like that I can watch on my phone no matter where I am. But I use the app at home on my TV and have so many issues. Black screens, slow service, have to change channel then go back. I have resulted to other apps instead while I am home.

Nothing but issues, freezes constantly, and all they'll do is blame it on something on your end and just like typical DirecTV, they continue to increase the fees and don't do anything to fix issues or add content

    It's okay. I periodically have to uninstall and reinstall the app on my tablet in order for it to work. That gets annoying. The app doesn't work on my tv even after uninstalling. It works fine on the amazon fire though. Also, the caption is very tiny on the app and you can't change the size.

    Tried to watch TV on my phone. Got a notice that said I need to update AT&T TV. Update won't download. I have tried 6 times in the course of an hour and cannot get it to load to my phone. Can't watch TV without the update. Totally pissed!

    Not trying to continue to jump thru hoops when the original app was 1 to 2 clicks and I was enjoying watching TV on my Firestick. Updates are to make the product run smoother, not frustrate your customers and force em to get additional subscriptions.

    This is an update: this service has some horrible issues. They tried to make it look like it was my TV (was brand new). Then my internet but that was upgraded months prior due to other reasons. Nothing works. It constantly buffers (freezes) or just simply craps out (error message). Can't change the channel to a different show... makes it worse. You have to completely shut off your TV. The picture is awful... you see double vision and looks like moving in slow motion. It's a rip off

    Says I need to reactivate my subscription, I have had directv for years now. When I try and use the directv now app (the one I have been using for a couple years) it closes down and directs me to this janky app. Worthless

    Great app. Gives me all the channels/shows I like. I about to turn off service. Price is high. No discount or refund given during this no sports period of coronavirus. I'll be happy eith Philo for $20 per month. When sports returns, I'll add Sling TV.

    The App won't let me sign in with correct log in information on the television. I messaged rep, was typing back and forth for an hour. The rep tells me he will "troubleshoot" and call back. That was over a week ago. I haven't been able to watch this for months, & get notification they're raising my rate (for the 3rd time in 3 months). Today when I attempted to open the app, all I saw was a blue spinning circle. You are unable to speak with anyone on a telephone. Cancelled. Will not use again!

    Absolute garbage. Not sure how you screw up streaming. Audio becomes out of sync. Have to change the channel or restart the app to keep the video from shuddering. AT&T couldn't care less about this service.

    Its a nice app but could use some nice updates such as being able tio jump to a station quickly instead of having to scroll through everything. You can do that on a has an alphabet listing on the right side. But that's not available on a television. Also a last button would be nice to jump to your last channel.

    Great content wise. Useability definitely horrible, doesn't allow casting, doesn't allow multi-screen, and if you leave the app and come right back restarts and sometimes you will end up watching 5 minutes of commercials, app freezes, 5 min. Commercials, then app freezes then again commercials. Happens tooooo many times. Honestly if it wasnt for the content it would be worse app I've used to stream. Horrible speeds, horrible useability and horrible set up.

    This is a poor excuse for a streaming app. 1) Episodes from different networks almost always pause and buffer at some point. (even with 140Mb+ download speeds) 2) Should you stop watching your current show, and decide to watch another show, (for your kids or spouse lets say) you will be unable to resume the first show from the last scene you watched. The app will force you to re-watch an entire episode even if your missing just the last 5 minutes.

    It has the most content. It needs improvement but they continue to do this. It's not the cheapest but u get what u pay for. The only big negative is they don't have live phone customer service and support. I hope this changes in the future. I have to type and chat with customer service back and forth with my two index fingers. It's very time consuming.

    Cant even sign in. Trash. App crashed while activating my account now I can't do anything besides call and sit on hold for a half a f$$c!?ing hour. And the service says I have a 1 terrabite limit which isnt the plan I signed up for. Don't get this service.

    This app used to work on my phone. For some reason, it only shows my dvr items. I cannot see any of my channels. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Then I uninstalled again and now I can't seem to reinstall. If I can't watch it, I should cancel the service.

    Absolutely awful that if you navigate away from the show or the app halfway through commercials, you have to restart the whole 7-8 ads from the beginning.

    Not responding at all. Tried uninstall and reinstalling the app and its still buffering. I get a pop up that says the app is not responding. Everything else on my laptop is streaming fine except this app. Will just uninstall and no longer use.

    Not usually one for this type of TV service always liked satellite TV but love At&t so had to try so far has been great lot's of good programming and few commercials also doesn't go out when it rains which is a plus. Good DVR haven't filled up yet and I save everything lol
