Game of Life - Live Wallpaper with hundreds of patterns allows you to enjoy beautiful and charming wallpaper on your device. THIS IS NOT A GAME! Please pay attention, that this is not a game actually, but emulation of life, made as live wallpaper. The Game of Life, also known simply as Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. The universe of the Game of Life is an grid of cells. Each of them can be alive or dead. Every cell interacts with its eight neighbors. In next generation some cells will be born, some will die. This is described by Conway's rules: 1. If dead cell has exactly 3 alive neighbors it will be born in next generation. 2. If alive cell has less then 2 alive neighbors it will die due to loneliness, but if it has more then 4 - it will die due to over-population. The player isn't directly involved in the game, but only generates the initial arrangement of alive cells. You can read more about Conway's Game of Life here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway's_Game_of_Life So you can: - Make double tap (or tap with two fingers) to switch between a lot of patterns - Make triple tap (or tap with three fingers) to generate full-screen mash - Go through list of patterns and star favorite, to see them more often (up 2 for free) - Cell size & fps can be changed in settings No Ads! Good optimized algorithm! Patterns are taken here: http://www.conwaylife.com/wiki/Main_Page

reeeally awesome app. i wish if there could be a option for saving manual patterns as wallpaper. ive spent most of my spare time learning and creating game of life. and i would like to see all those patterns on my wallpaper. :) hope you may add this feature.

Nice. But doesn't work correctly. Gets stuck on one pattern and won't change.

I have tried them all, and if this one is not Number One, then it is certainly Number 2 ;-)

Super rad

It's great if you don't care to make your own patterns, as it has plenty of built-in ones, but I was hoping for an option to set a custom pattern. I distinctly remember there being a live wallpaper that allowed this, but if I can't find one, this is definitely my second choice of those I've seen so far

EDIT: Fixed it! Works now, Thanks!---- Looks great and its very cool! No ads, no bs, everything is great!... Except that I use an LG G3, with no physical home button. It compensates by allowing a doubletap to wake it up, and a doubletap on the background to put it to sleep. Thus, changing the pattern sleeps my phone, and I cannot do a triple tap! Can you please make an option to hide that text? Great otherwise. Nice work! Thanks!

Great Live Background, based off an awesome A-Life concept and exectued well. Only thing I would say is for some of the perpetual designs, having multiple of them on the screen in different places would make it look better (because some of them can be quite small). Otherwise, great work.
