Tested withSamsung S21+ this is the most accurate dB metering I've seen so far, and I've tried everything on the market! Tested with a QSC system in a familiar room with a midas council, pink noise generated at various levels and measurements recorded and saved every 20 secs. Recorded at the same time with an analyzer mic into a computer through the council at same input Imported wav from phone placing it on top of computer recording. It was nearly a perfect match!

The instructions aren't very clear, you have to stop the recording to save it, and the order it saves the recordings in is both unclear and not adjustable. There is no automatic recording feature; that is what you would need if you're trying to document your noisy neighbors, an auto start upon a sharp noise. Also, WORST OF ALL, if your phone turns sideways and the aspect flips, you lose the recording you were making! Just when you are trying to save the recording you need, it disappears.

Use this sound detector and feel quite satisfied with its performance as well as the user experience I got. In the previous release, the ad freezes the measurements, but now there is no such problem.

In general, this is a good frequency analyzer. But it works differently on my two devices. On my phone, it runs ideally. But on my tablet, it sometimes may suffer a forced close. Maybe operating system requirements are to blame?
